It is so hot outside, but I am trying to do a little each day. I generally cut my work out short because I don't want him to overheat. This really is motivating!0 -

As long as you keep your ticker updated and post a few times a week it is fine. If you can update often it's easier for dinos to keep the sheet updated.oops.. I didn't know we should post every day Well I did 3 miles on 8/3

You can join anytime. Set a goal you can attain...
And get your *kitten* moving....is it too late to join in the fun? i'm training for a race in october and need to get my *kitten* in gear. i'm setting my goal for 90 miles this month. i'll get a ticker tonight0 -
To help dinos out PLEASE update your signature or ticker at least twice a week or more if possible. There are soooooo many participants and this will help him keep the sheet updated in his free time.

Pictures of my evening hike. I walked along an ancient trail linking the island villages. The trail has been abandoned since the invention of the automobile, it's only inhabited by lizards and snakes and the howling wind. For a city guy like me to hike for over an hour in the wilderness without seeing a soul (lizards, goats and insects don't count) is kinda spooky.0

I love the idea of this, I hope its not too late to join in. I already keep track of my kilometers thru my runkeeper app for my iphone, and last month I ran 118K. Hmmm...this month, I will try to meet that at the least or exceed it. I'll say 120K for the month.
So far this month I have run:
Aug 1 - 10.45K
Aug 2 - 6.10K
I do swim and bike as well, but don't usually keep track of my distances. I guess I could start now though.0 -
Mangaed my longest ride of the season 15.6 miles. I passed a field of sunflowers..0

Okay, so I finally got my ticker working.. that was a pain!
I have done another 1.5 miles, which is 2.5 miles total...and my goal is 30 this month. I know I originally said 50, but I thought that would be a lot starting out especially since I get shin splints really bad. If there is another challenge like this next month, I will up my 30 miles.

Can anyone tell me how they got their ticker (that shows the mileage) to work? I tried about 4 or 5 different times... could only get the picture to show????

I think you have to add the bbcode in your signature, not the HTML code.0
