11/9 172.8 off to a good start. to be truthful I'm not expecting any major moves on the scale, since I had a good loss this past week. but maybe by the end of this round I can see another

11/11 172.4 seems good! I'm feeling a bit dehydrated from booze and popcorn last night . Planning a quick hike down to the river with the kiddos and the dogs today, so gotta drink up the H20!
11/12 173.4 (bf: 38.8%) We had bbq takeout last night after our hike.I think I did ok food wise, I guess I could call it a maintenance day since I ate a bit too much but nothing crazy. I'm up a lb, but down a percentage point of body fat, so I know it's water. Back on plan today, hoping for a good loss by Wednesday.

11/9: 215.4 - I need to set better goals for these rounds. But I also feel like I always fluctuate a lot in the space of ten days, so maybe I won't.
11/10: 213.8 - Crazy drop! Don't expect that it will last.
11/11: No weigh in today - was out with a girlfriend last night and crashed at her place.
11/12: 218.0 - I expected as much. Too much alcohol and TOM on the way. Chugging water hoping it will go down some for my official weigh in tomorrow.
11/13: 216.8 - Getting back down. I think I should definitely get below my goal for this round.
11/14: 215.0 - Back below where I started this round. TOM started today so I expect some more water weight will let go. No time for exercise these days, but still losing with CICO, so I'm doing OK.
11/15: 213.4 - Lowest so far. Was too far under calories last night but also too tired to stay up.
11/16: 212.8 - New low! It's really amazing to watch the weight keep falling off. Ate Chinese food tonight, not very much, and still feel too full.

11/10 - Not Weighing. I'm very sick today (storage sick) and so I'm not getting an accurate/realistic reading.
11/11 - 188.8 I was expecting this. I had 2 cheat days where I ate everything (including things I shouldn't have because I know that they make me bloat! Ex. salty food, rice, potatoes, bread etc). I'm back on the wagon today though!!!
11/12 - 189.4 Its starting to look like this might be the very first round where I end higher than I began. I'm very upset at my lack of discipline this week. I'm going to refocus my energy today and see if I can make up for the cheating a little bit.

Back again! I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. For this round I'd like to get below and stay below 140. Started at 162 something back in early March so I'm down over 20 pounds. I am aiming to reach goal of 132 before New Years. It's been verrry slow the last couple months plus I ended round 21 higher than I started. Need new incentive.

11/10 141.8 Dance class and senior yoga yesterday. Feelin' good despite the weight gain from cherry pie someone gave me. Loved every bite, no regrets. today, pool class. I realized I've doing doing this bouncing around this weight ever since my youngest son moved back in with his little boy. I'm spending more time preparing food for them and not enough doing it for me. Need to focus more on my menu as well as theirs.
11/11 141 Can't explain this drop as I ate candy yesterday. But... I did go to gym and pool exercise. Felt so good. Today, elliptical and lunch out. The restaurant specializes in burgers and grilled cheese... I didn't pick it.

11/9 252.0 -- up a touch but ate with reckless abandon yesterday and I know some of it is water by how my ring feels. Wedding ring fell off once yesterday but it won’t this morning. Ordered ring guards. Lose weight? Yes. Lose wedding ring? NO!.

11/11 255.8 -- Took a day off to eat with reckless abandon -- much of it salty. Resume new normal today!
11/12 255.0 -- After a couple nights of late night snacking it could be very easy to slide into an old pattern. Tonight I go to bed and read. There’s no food downstairs in the bedrooms. (Our house is “upside down.”)
11/13 255.0 -- I clearly need to set myself an arbitrary rule to prevent reckless eating late at night. Okay. Here it is. Simple really. No eating after 9 p.m.

11/16 252.0 -- A nice lowish weight to take to the Dr. He’ll probably still insist I’m doing it wrong. Just cut out junk food, he’ll say. He’ll ask what I had for breakfast and tssk-tssk at my eggs and cheese. He’ll harrumph at calorie counting and say if I just exercise 30 minutes a day I’ll lose weight. I may try to educate him. I did not eat after 9 p.m.
11/17 254.0 -- oops. Take out Chinese + late night snacking. But the Dr. said my a1c is down to 6.0.

11/09 - 188.5 I love this number but it belongs at the end of round 21. Where were you yesterday? And this is why I posted the chart of daily weighing. It's up, down up, down, but the overall trend is what's important.
11/10 - 188.3 Super! Two days down in a row. Had sushi yesterday, but there was no rice. The wrap was cucumber. That was different. And delicious.
11/11 - 187.8 Having a good round so far. This number surprised me, as I expected my usual couple days down next day up. No complaints, and I have been strict on my calories the last few days as I had missed my step goal. Love the whoosh!
11/12 - No weigh in today. At my mom's. No scale.

This is not the way I wanted to end this round. I just returned last night from a conference. I expect this is a combination of sodium / water retention and my normal basic bathroom activities being out of whack. However it is still disheartening to step on the scale and see such an increase. I've decided that I am going to eat at maintenance for 2/7 days a week, which is why I am going to start using my average weight. I want to offset hormonal changes that occur when losing weight for extended periods of time that can make it harder to lose and maintain weight and I'm hoping to alleviate potential emotional stress of constantly being in a deficit. After two rounds of eating at maintenance for 2/7 days not only is my weight lower over the last two rounds, but it's been easier to eat at a deficit on the other days.

11/10 - 142.4 - may be dehydrated, great workout yesterday!
11/11 - 142.0 - under calorie goal yesterday and ran 25 minutes. Usually I don't get 2 days of loss after a plateau breaks
11/12 - 143.2 - I do bounce around. But also: I was super emotional last night about my daughter (who is not choosing to speak to us, heartbreak) and I overate; not over calories, but ate back all my exercise calories which I know is a bad habit.
11/13 - 143.4 - rebound continues, no worries. under calories easily yesterday, ran 42 minutes. I HAVE FAITH IN THE PROCESS (repeat as necessary)
11/14 - 142.2 - yep, bounce. under calories yesterday, planned for no workout.
11/15 - 140.8 - no workout yesterday planned, a trice over calories (unplanned) But this is how it goes, I know I will rebound from this REALLY NICE NUMBER but it sure is good to see.
11/16 - 140.2 - 35 min burn on elliptical and under calories. Lovin' the drop, but not attached because I know I will rebound some. It's just evidence that the system in place is working
11/17 - 140.6 - 3 mile run yesterday and under calories. Really enjoying this daily accountability site!
11/18 - 141.2 - headache all day yesterday, 25 minute ball and band workout all I managed, over calories a smidge but still under maintenance. Rebound was expected.
Very happy with my loss this round
Working out harder the last 10 days and feeling very tired, like workday and workout and food and sleep is all I can manage. Hoping this will stabilize next round.

@junodog1 Travel always messes with my normal bathroom activity. Even though I’m doing low carb, I allowed myself Raisin Bran the first 2 cruise days. I actually only ate one and was good to “go” for the week. Can’t tell you how many years it took me to figure that out but it works for me!3 -
My first challenge - only saw it yesterday so am starting today instead.
I am also doing weight training twice a week and aiming to lose slow and steady to ensure its fat loss and not muscle loss! Anyway here goes ...

WOW! Felt I had a good day yesterday food wise and walked 12,460 on my fitbit and felt i was back on track. Even managed to contain myself at our Brownie camp fire evening and only have a few toasted marshmallows and no full on smores! Under no illusions will carry on losing at this rate but will enjoy the feeling and hopefully it will keep me motivated over the weekend which is always a toughie!

hhhmmm. + 0.30 ???? ended doing a 58 mile road bike ride yesterday too!! Only had a bowl of porridge before the ride, a bacon sarnie at out cafe stop and a flapjack Can only put it down to the fact that I did have a pretty large dinner last night (needed it after my ride) full Sunday roast and included a homemade apple crumble and I don't usually have dessert. Won't let it phase me - a good food day set up for today though and a short 12 mile ride tonight to loosen up my legs - so its all good

go figure? But very happy! Can't believe how much weight can vary day to day!! Was obviously a big serving of apple crumble on Sunday!! I did do another 12 mile bike ride yesterday evening to loosen up my stiff legs after Sunday. Off to the gym tonight for PT session. Will be more than happy to maintain this weight for a few days and finish off the round at this weight - maybe 147.5??

ache from gym a bit last night (pyramid training session!) - and a happy scale day Interesting that I have upped my calories slightly this week - weight had stuck for a while so joined this challenge and upped my calorie goal by 200 a day - all good so far!! Weight is all in the right direction - 3.7 lbs since the start of the challenge - would love end of R22 to be 147.50

-0.80 lbs. Cant believe I am eating more and the weight is falling off me this week! Feel so much better too. This week has been a revelation to me..... Rest day yesterday from the gym / bike - back to the gym tonight. And I have signed up for a London to Paris bike ride next September!! All that training will mean extra bacon sarnies for me too

11/11 152 Oh come on scale! I spent a lot of time working in the kitchen yesterday, baking Keto bagels and pizza crust. Didn’t eat much all day and drank over a gallon of water!
11/12 153 My appetite is almost nothing but after picking up friends at the airport we all went out for pizza. I only ate the toppings. I’m sure this is water but it is still frustrating!

11/17 152 One of the neighbors asked if I had lost weight! Best feeling ever!!! Second potluck in as many days. Passed on sugared up fruit salads but got some “virgin” berries, skipped the rolls, mashed potatoes, mega sweetened sweet potatoes, etc. Got some naked green beans and the squash au gratin which I brought as well as some ham and turkey. My splurge was about 4 oz of spiked egg nog. I was lacking water!!

Good. I'm experimenting with lower carb and higher fat - not extreme, just a nudge - to see what happens. Remains to be seen what the long-term effect is on weight loss, but I will say that I'm not as hungry!

I completed my first round for round 22 and was very happy with my progress. My SW for Round 21 was 121.8 and EW was 119.6. My goal for this round is to get to 118.5. (I'm 5'1, my goal weight is around 115). This would bring me to 30 lbs down from my highest.
