I know this challenge is almost done but I have to get this back in control as I spiral upward9 -
I'm in for the third round. More realistic goal this time... I would love to get to 145lbs before Christmas, but baby steps. My goal for this challenge is 150.0 lbs. Weekends are the absolute hardest for me to even maintain my weight. Open to suggestions for that

At first I was unsure how I would feel about recording my weight every day. Turns out, I am actually less affected by the fluctuations than I thought I would be. I learned that results of good (and bad) behavior can take several days to see, and focusing on the averages from round to round is very rewarding!

My goodness, the time slipped up on me! I didn't realize that it was the start of round 22 already! Anyway, I ended this round lighter than I started. So without farther ado, it's on to the next goal! I've got plenty more weight I need to discard! To say I lost it indicates it was a mistake, but when I say I discarded it, everyone knows I did it on purpose!

Got on up this morning and went to exercise. Changing up my routine to include the elliptical. I want to start weight training, but I think that will me one of my targets for the New Year! If I can make it through Thanksgiving and Christmas and still come out no more than 205 lbs., I will consider it a super victory! That's my plan anyway! Got to increase the exercise; that's for sure!

Didn't realize I forgot to post my weight yesterday; spent the last hour looking for yesterday's post to copy! Took me a while of going back and forth to realize it just wasn't there! I've never done that before. I worked yesterday, and it's been a while since I worked on a Saturday. I will start on my 2 week vacation on the 19th, so I've been trying to make a little extra spending money! Will be working more hours next week too, but not on Saturday!

Had a bad night last night trying to get used to my C-Pap machine! It fit great the first two nights, but last night it was so uncomfortable. I was so tired this morning, I didn't get up until it was almost time for me to go to work. We are really getting busy now - back to back phone calls - and it's not even black Friday yet. Thank God I won't be working Black Friday; I'll still be on vacation.

11/10 - Not Weighing. I'm very sick today (storage sick) and so I'm not getting an accurate/realistic reading.
11/11 - 188.8 I was expecting this. I had 2 cheat days where I ate everything (including things I shouldn't have because I know that they make me bloat! Ex. salty food, rice, potatoes, bread etc). I'm back on the wagon today though!!!
11/12 - 189.4 Its starting to look like this might be the very first round where I end higher than I began. I'm very upset at my lack of discipline this week. I'm going to refocus my energy today and see if I can make up for the cheating a little bit.

11/9: 215.4 - I need to set better goals for these rounds. But I also feel like I always fluctuate a lot in the space of ten days, so maybe I won't.
11/10: 213.8 - Crazy drop! Don't expect that it will last.
11/11: No weigh in today - was out with a girlfriend last night and crashed at her place.
11/12: 218.0 - I expected as much. Too much alcohol and TOM on the way. Chugging water hoping it will go down some for my official weigh in tomorrow.
11/13: 216.8 - Getting back down. I think I should definitely get below my goal for this round.
11/14: 215.0 - Back below where I started this round. TOM started today so I expect some more water weight will let go. No time for exercise these days, but still losing with CICO, so I'm doing OK.

11/14 - 145.2 /Seeing the 144s again this round may be difficult. Today was fine (not enough protein though). I did the first workout from Strong (updated version of New Rules of Lifting for Women). Have a bunch of food-related events coming up that I know will derail my eating efforts that I cannot avoid. Usually there's one or two social events that I can manage and lose weight but with the holidays, it is jam packed!
11/15 - 144.4 /Well, that was a surprise. Ate within calories and went swimming. Bracing myself for unhealthy food situations coming up this weekend.

Disappointed because it's higher than yesterday, but looking at the loss from the beginning of the last round makes me realize I'm still making progress. I get impatient, have to remember this is a slow journey. Didn't feel great today, headachy and tired. Fine day for calories, water.

Had a day off for the Veteran's Day holiday, it was nice. Went out to eat but stayed in my calories, bought an outfit for a dinner party that's a few week away, size 14s I tried on were too big. (Wound up getting something size "L" so no big victory size story.) Good on water, got some exercise.

OK, so this seems to be my current loop. I was on my feet a lot today for a work event. Not too strenuous, just a lot of standing. A perfectly beautiful day to be outside. Ate at my goal calories, lots of veggies, good on protein. I'll get to my water goal by bedtime.

I expect to be up tomorrow, I went out for a nice dinner that I could tell had a lot of sodium and I'm low on water for the day. I ate dinner out four times in the last week but stayed in my calories each time.

Not too bad, considering last night's dinner. I did almost everything right today, really trying for a bump down tomorrow. I first saw 162 a week ago today and I've pinged it a few times now. Would love to see 161, that'll be 40lbs from my heaviest ever. I usually don't set goals for these 10-day challenges but that's my new goal for this round - a solid 161 and a milestone.

Woot! 40 lbs down from my highest, which was in summer of 2012. Honestly, I was probably up to closer to 210 before I started losing, but I wasn't weighing so that's the highest I ever saw. I lost 30, then gained back and was up to 201 again by the spring of 2015. Going to keep going this time. My next mini goal is 159, which at my height is a "normal" BMI. I don't expect it this round, I'm sure I'll be up and down as usual.

Still happy with this. Fine day on all counts, if I can drink a bit more water before bed. Good on calories, protein, veggies, exercise, no added sugar, I even went to bed on time last night. Just realized I broke my rule and ate after 8pm but still OK. Work thing tomorrow evening, grant me strength to steer clear of the cheese trays.

08/11 - 195.8 - nursing sore muscles today - which could be the reason for my raise in weight this morning, hopefully it will drop off again this round! went to bed early tonight (about 8pm ) my pain meds for my back are making me sleepy so I decided to just sleep instead of fighting it .. due to that ---cals in - 1128 & exercise was - 39 mins of strength and 6 mins flex.
09/11 - 194.8 - yay! Happy I seem to be settling around these lower numbers (beats the 197 I was stuck at for 5 rounds)cals in 1651 - Exercise 10 min strength 10 min flex, 50 min walk, 70 min various cardio.

I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible stomach cramps and...erm...expelled the pizza. I hadn't had any bread or dairy in months, so maybe i'm allergic to something...like pizza. We'll see if it sticks, I know there may be a rebound effect.

11/9- 150.26 Well that is a depressing way to start off this round. No time to dwell though, so I'll just keep chugging along and hope tomorrow is better.
11/10-150.7 Even more weight gain. So frustrating. Hopefully this doesn't become a trend.
11/11-149.6 So thankful to see the weight going back down. Hoping to fit in a walk today.
11/12---Was running late today so no weight. Managed 3.5 miles yesterday, but went out for drinks last night. Hoping tomorrow's weight isn't too cringe worthy. lol
11/13- 148.06 Checked the scale more than once to verify I wasn't seeing things. I am guessing this might go back up a bit since it was such a big drop. Managed 1.5 miles today, but still went over on calories by about 100.
11/14- 148.06 Two days in a row at this weight. Can't believe it. I truly thought yesterday was a mistake. I am down 15 lbs. since I started. I would love to make it to 20 by Christmas.
11/15-149.16 Weight went the wrong way today but still lower than the beginning of the week. I've been running errands this morning, which entailed lots of walking. I hope to get a measured walk in as well today.
11/16- 148.94
11/17- 148.72 Love that my weight is creeping back down again. I'm meeting a friend for coffee and plan to walk to the shop. That will give me right about 1.5 miles.

11/9: 157.0 This is the calm before the holiday season storm! I am hopeful for a solid 10 days to keep me focused on my goals leading into the holidays. I feel like I wavered the last 10 and lost some mental momentum. Toying with idea of signing up for a Thanksgiving 5k as the end of my C25K program will be falling right around that day! It's aptly named the "gobble wobble" as I am sure I will be wobbling by the end!
11/10: 154.8 Ummmm I knew I ready for a whoosh but this was a crazy number! I fully expect to rebound some but overall a nice low that is motivating to see. I did sign up for the 5k on Thanksgiving, cue anxiety!!
11/11 156.8 Hello rebound! Pizza last night. Still a downward trend.
11/12 Didn't weight. Not home.
11/13: 158.0 I really didn't want to see this number again but oh well. I was lax this weekend. Finishing up C25k soon. I ran 2 miles straight yesterday/28 minutes total.
11/14: 156.0 Better. Staying focused today and getting a run in later.
11/15: 155.8 The scale was funky this morning. Gave me a higher reading first then this reading. Had a great day yesterday. Good deficit and ran 3 miles straight! This is completely mind boggling to me since I have "loathed" running my entire life. Bring on the 5k!
11/16 155.4 Good number. Busy day ahead full of errands and cleaning. Need to find time for my run but not sure it will happen.
11/17 156.6 Darn it! Water weight. I deep cleaned my house yesterday which left me a bit on the sore side. Hoping for a quick turn around for the end tomorrow! If not, it's okay I saw some great numbers this round!

My first challenge - only saw it yesterday so am starting today instead.
I am also doing weight training twice a week and aiming to lose slow and steady to ensure its fat loss and not muscle loss! Anyway here goes ...

11/9 Went to the gym for an hours GVT session with my PT - my legs and shoulders ache!!
11/10 151.40 - not massively impressed with myself but have to start somewhere...... Good food day planned
11/11 150.00 - WOW! Felt I had a good day yesterday food wise and walked 12,460 on my fitbit and felt i was back on track. Even managed to contain myself at our Brownie camp fire evening and only have a few toasted marshmallows and no full on smores! Under no illusions will carry on losing at this rate but will enjoy the feeling and hopefully it will keep me motivated over the weekend which is always a toughie!
11/12 149.9 - will take that happily! Didn't do much walking today - day doing tasks like housework and ironing - but out for a bike ride today so will sneak in a bacon sarnie as planning a 45 mile ride!
11/13 150.20 - hhhmmm. + 0.30 ???? ended doing a 58 mile road bike ride yesterday too!! Only had a bowl of porridge before the ride, a bacon sarnie at out cafe stop and a flapjack Can only put it down to the fact that I did have a pretty large dinner last night (needed it after my ride) full Sunday roast and included a homemade apple crumble and I don't usually have dessert. Won't let it phase me - a good food day set up for today though and a short 12 mile ride tonight to loosen up my legs - so its all good
11/14 148.00!!! go figure? But very happy! Can't believe how much weight can vary day to day!! Was obviously a big serving of apple crumble on Sunday!! I did do another 12 mile bike ride yesterday evening to loosen up my stiff legs after Sunday. Off to the gym tonight for PT session. Will be more than happy to maintain this weight for a few days and finish off the round at this weight - maybe 147.5??
11/15 147.7 - ache from gym a bit last night (pyramid training session!) - and a happy scale day Interesting that I have upped my calories slightly this week - weight had stuck for a while so joined this challenge and upped my calorie goal by 200 a day - all good so far!! Weight is all in the right direction - 3.7 lbs since the start of the challenge - would love end of R22 to be 147.50
11/16 146.9 - -0.80 lbs. Cant believe I am eating more and the weight is falling off me this week! Feel so much better too. This week has been a revelation to me..... Rest day yesterday from the gym / bike - back to the gym tonight. And I have signed up for a London to Paris bike ride next September!! All that training will mean extra bacon sarnies for me too
11/17 146.6 another 0.3 lbs gone! This has probably been one of my best weeks ever - definitely going to stick to the higher calories each day - and will defo do R23 - maybe the daily posts is what keeps me motivated and accountable to myself ??? Whatever it is I am will carry on (although no long bike ride this weekend - daughters have too many cheer commitments!), Last day tomorrow so really don't want to put anything on - good food day planned so no reason why I should

11/11 - 169.4 - Thrilled with these results today.
11/12 - 169.2 - Good stuff! Now if I'm crying tomorrow morning that's on me because I just had two slices of pizza for lunch and man was it good. We will see how it goes.

11/10 - Not Weighing. I'm very sick today (storage sick) and so I'm not getting an accurate/realistic reading.
11/11 - 188.8 I was expecting this. I had 2 cheat days where I ate everything (including things I shouldn't have because I know that they make me bloat! Ex. salty food, rice, potatoes, bread etc). I'm back on the wagon today though!!!
11/12 - 189.4 Its starting to look like this might be the very first round where I end higher than I began. I'm very upset at my lack of discipline this week. I'm going to refocus my energy today and see if I can make up for the cheating a little bit.

Put work pants on this morning that I’ve not worn for a year and they feel tight! Trying not to to be to depressed about that as that’s when I eat! What a rollercoaster this bloody weight thing is!!

11/9 - 246.2 - I felt pretty good about yesterday. Got my exercise in, ate within my calories. Glad the scale reflected that!

11/11 - 243.2 - Got a lot of sleep last night. Trying to get over this cold! Today I'm going to try out some keto recipes to see if that might work for me.

11/15 - 240.6 - Last night we had a nurse come over to take blood for our life insurance. Because it was a little late and my arm was a little sore, I decided to make last night a rest night and I didn't exercise. I still had my 10k steps, though! So, I feel pretty good about the very small loss. At least it wasn't a gain! I know tomorrow is going to be a loss, I fee my determination. Tomorrow, I WILL be in the 230s!
11/16 - 241.2 - So, yesterday took a bit of a turn. We had a few hours kid-free, so we got fast food. But, I did Tuesday and Wednesday's workouts to try to make up for it. Based on how many calories I ate yesterday, I'm pretty pleased that my gain was only 0.6 lbs. Today I already have everything all planned out and nothing weird is happening in the evening. Should be an easy day to stay on track!
11/17 - 239.6 - WOO!! I made it to the 230s! I had a sort-of goal to be 235 by Thanksgiving. Now that it's much closer to possible, I think I'm going to really push myself to try to achieve it!
