I’m in for my seventh round! Love this challenge and the accountability and support it offers! My goal this round is to get better at tracking!

11/20 - 158.0lbs... yikes, I’m going the wrong way!!! Weekends are such a struggle for me. Ugh!
11/21 - 156.1lbs... that’s better! Must’ve been the ‘weekend bloat’ yesterday!
11/22 156.4... somewhat surprised it went up as I was under calories yesterday, excercised and got in my water. Perhaps the weekend indulgences are still waving their finger at me... tisk, tisk! Kidding aside, good to remember that fluctuations are normal and to trust the process!

I appreciate that you reached out with your support and condolences. It means so much. You're the reason why I'm back this morning...doing these challenges again.

11/21 167.6 Back to work for the first time since Mom's been gone. It was a really hard day for me, and I just wanted to come back home.
11/22 166.8 Going ahead with Thanksgiving preparations for Mom's side. I don't really feel like celebrating, but I need to do this for her.
Sorry for your loss, it's a difficult thing at a difficult time. Try and enjoy those around you and recall all the greatness of your Mom and memories of her around the holidays.5 -

@amg226 It could be a delayed reaction to the sodium in the cheese earlier in the week. I have found it takes up to 2 or 3 days for food to be reflected in my weight.
@ineedtomakethiswork Be sure to drink LOTS of water for your injury and your diet. JMHO not medical advice.

@cyranda63 and @tishawj we had a yellow lab and a beagle mix living with us for about a year. I think they conspired- the lab could reach the countertop easily and would pull anything down from wherever and the beagle would chew it up! I came home one night to about 30 VCR tapes chewed and scattered across the kitchen floor!1 -
@nikki062181 I am so touched by your words. I think I did what friends do. I’m only sorry it took me so long to message you. I would think about you but be in the middle of something. I told you we lost my FIL 25 years ago. There are still things that make me cry even after all these years - a remark he made in his hospital bed with all of the family gathered round and singing Amazing Grace, his favorite hymn - but there is a New Normal, as you said. You will find it. Cherish the memories.2

11/19 150.0 I got on and off the scale 3 times to make sure this was real! I even took a picture! So excited because the last 4 days have included 2 potlucks and a buffet at Golden Corral for my husband’s birthday and lunch today with our daughter and her family.
11/20 151 This is okay. It occurred to me that I accidentally fasted from our meal on Friday until Saturday evening. I was visiting with a friend who is moving and realized when I got home that I had not eaten anything all day. I may incorporate a one day a week fast into my plan.

Planning ahead for a small splurge but mostly healthy on TG. We've taken to having sweet potatoes without the sugar & butter (and I love them neat anyway), and I limit the stuffing and make my own cranberry sauce with chopped apple in place of sugar (I'm the only one who eats it, and I like it this way). So the big splurge is pie, and I minimize how much we have. Luckily by hubby isn't a big sweet eater. (To get my pumpkin fix this time of year, I get pumpkin butter and mix a Tbsp into cottage cheese or plain yogurt - yummy!) Everything else in our main dinner is healthy. The past three years I've run a 5K on TG morning, but we're in a different place and I didn't enter a race, so, unless it's pouring rain, I'll do my own private turkey trot. :-) I plan to enjoy TG without overdosing.

Went out for a ginormous (though healthy) breakfast yesterday, then had an apple for lunch and a light supper, so I didn't go over my goal, but did, I'm sure, get more sodium than usual. So this is fine.

11/19 173.4 Went out last night with the hubs and decided to get dessert after. Wound up eating above maintenance and the scale shows it.
11/20 173.4 Went for my second day of maintenance calories yesterday to help out the hormone levels. Back on my deficit today, and all week until a cheat meal on Thursday!
11/21 172.4 the weekend weight is all gone. I ate 3 oreos yesterday but was still within 5 calories of my goal, lol. hoping to see a bit of a drop tomorrow~
11/22 172.8 sigh. I have been eating a bit more than usual but nothing crazy. body fat was down on the scale which sometimes means I'm holding water. guess we shall see tomorrow

Day Four - preparation is the key!

11/19 10st 10lb starting weight - excellent day only 110gm protein though target 120gm per day.
11/20 - didn't weigh this morning but will weigh first thing tomorrow. Hate those scales. Food choices excellent and going to fit in extra gym session tonight.
11/21 - 10st 9.5lb weighed in the morning. Probably need to weigh in in the evening. Ate loads of protein gms today. Not craving sweet stuff and hit all my goals today.
11/22 - 10st 8.75lb happy with that! Working for a bakery is challenging. Managed to do a whole day at the main bakery with out sampling a thing. Filled up on protein shake early doors which keeps the hunger at bay. Have 2 days away from home now. Need to think about choices when eating out. May not be able to weigh tomorrow......8 -

11/19= 223.8 lbs- Well, too bad this wasn't yesterday. I could have had a loss for the last round. Pretty happy to see this drop though! Now...to keep this number through Thanksgiving...that's my goal. Losing would be great, but I'll be happy to stay right here for the next 10 days as long as I don't gain.
11/20= 225.3- I didn't stay where I wanted but I'm still less than R22 EW.
11/21= Forgot to weigh before I ate breakfast, so I just didn't weigh in.
11/22= 225.3- Still holding; really hope I don't go up too much because of Thanksgiving dinner and leftovers. I'm planning to have seriously moderate portions, skip the rolls, and only one small slice of pie for dessert. Leftovers will be only for meals, not random eating anytime, and will not be an entire plateful.

I have 2 thanksgiving meals to go to this round and my cousin's wedding, so my goal is to maintain the same average weight this round as last round.
11/19: 119.8- This is a jump up of a lb from yesterday, but I'm really feeling my strength workout from yesterday so I think that is contributing a bit to the increase.
11/20: 120.4- Eating wasn't great yesterday as I bought my nemesis, tortilla chips, at the store.
11/21: 119.4- Not excited to see the scale tomorrow I had movie theater popcorn for the first time in 6 months. And it wasn't even as good as I remembered!!
11/22: 119.8- Well it went up but it could have been worse. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I'm looking forward to the turkey and mashed potatoes.
