My goal is to exercise 5 days a week. This week I'll do 3 days and next week I want to get all 5 days done!
Didn't succeed today I'll just try again tomorrow. Just tired today and no energy.3 -

Recap R 12/21 - Vacation day from work = yay!
1) Drink lots of water...easier for me to lose track when home = 14c
2) Net calories green = Red 132
3) Finish cleaning / decorating / wash dishes = Done / done / done
4) Maybe take dog for short walk around neighborhood = Nope...spent time w/ hubby before he left for work
5) Choir rehearsal...looks like "snowstorm" is a bust, may still get something = Snow flurries, choir still on
6) Keep pushing zinc & cold meds, bedtime not too late, have 1 1/4 hour drive Fri to niece's afternoon Christmas concert = Done & cold is waning...I think my attack methods really worked this time

Going out at 9am to get it because I simply cba with going later when they’re will be even MORE people!
And then hopefully after Xmas day I can sleep! Forever!
This has been the most exhausting week of my life!
Never again are we leaving it this late! No no no way.
We have ate SO badly this week. I can’t remember the last time I made lunch we just keep buying McDonald’s or pasties because we’re out! And then we’re so knackered when we get back that we get a chippy tea!
Made a nice curry for tea though, something a bit more normal for us.
The kids are being really funny the last few days, just being very annoying in general. Someone at nursery assured me it’s normal because the kids are just constantly on the go because they’re excited and then because we talk about Xmas so early because we have to plan it, it gets to a point they’re fed up of hearing about it and just don’t even know when it’s coming
Anyway!
I’ve yawned all through this post as it’s 1am here as I’m up wrapping presents for my side of the family and dads collecting it tomorrow morning.
And it’s all in Disney princess paper because I forgot to buy “adult paper” ah this baby brain is funny!4 -

Well the last two days have made me feel like I just need to give up but I know the holiday is why things are so difficult to get everything done. I'm just plum exhausted from running everywhere!! I'll try to keep my chin up and keep working towards my exercises each day. However I'm not going to stress over it if I can't work it in bc it is Christmas, Lol3 -
Who knew 6 kraft caramels are 160 calories!! No more of those for me.
I was within calories and journaled all my food. I did not reach my other goals today but I am feeling more positive anyway.4 -
WE ALL need to be more forgiving, patient, and loving of our own selves. While I've been reading and posting this past week or two I've been struck by the fact that at this time of year for some reason we seem to take our normal lives and cram way more stuff in without altering anything. Then we expect it to all fit and are stressed out when it doesn't. ??????

3. Take checks to the bank and deposit. Get juice. ✔
4. Daily practice: Duolingo. ✔
5. Put dishes away ✔; do two loads of laundry ✔; chop more celery. ✔
6. Head to the garden around 3:30 ✔. Leave around 4:30 to get to the gym ✔. Go from the gym to rehearsal. ✔
7. Pick up a gift certificate to the gaming store for our nephews ✔. Get shirataki noodles. ✔
8. Call the cobbler and see if my shoes are ready yet. ✔

10. Call Disney to see if we can add one more person to our dining reservation. ❌

5. Head to parents' house around 11. Take the celery. (That's not rude, is it??)
6. Find ways to avoid eating all day. Movie? Going for a walk?
7. Decorate the Christmas tree.
8. Request unofficial transcript. Check with state to ensure that program is accepted.
9. Add person to dining reservation.
10. Run lines for play.

Dec 1 weigh-in: 176.6
Jan 1 goal: 169.6 - 7 lbs, should be ~1.5/week
Sunday weigh-in goal: 171.0; actual: 173.3.
Next Sunday goal: 168.5.

Yup, so definitely some damage from the Christmas party. Yesterday was getting together with the in-laws, small version. Big version (in-laws other side) will be on Christmas Day. Today is my side of the family. After that it should go back to (somewhat) normal.

5) Meal plan & grocery list = Nope, wrapping done late, now a Sat. task.
JFT Sat. 12/23 - My cold is nearly gone = yay! Now that I'm feeling better and once schedule gets back to normal, restart walks on treadmill / other workouts. With busy days, I'm not going to cram a workout in.

Weekly Weigh-In = When I'm active I eat back calories / sometimes too much. My weaknesses: my sweet tooth, especially chocolate, and portion control. To be honest, I love food! I weigh myself daily and log weekly / posting my Saturday a.m. weigh-in here. [My digital scale only shows half pound increments.]

7/29 = 174.0 saw at least one daily w-i below 174

10/14 = 166.5 dined out 2 days with adult beverages plus wine & cheesecake at spa
10/21 = 166.5 dined out 2 days plus food day in office / no gain is good [joined Just Give Me 10 Days challenge]
10/28 = 164.5 very active week & watched CICO / reached October goal of 165
11/4 = 163.0 wow, really surprised at this, daily fluctuations very up and down this week (track on Just Give Me 10 Days)
11/11 = 164.5 this is temporary b/c very high sodium yesterday
11/18 = 162.0 big surprise, especially b/c I weigh myself daily and didn't see this all week
11/25 = 163.0 no surprise after 2 no-logging-food days (parade day and Thanksgiving), just glad not worse
12/2 = 161.0 Jingle Bell 5K day / 44:37 chip time & ave. pace 14:22 & very happy!
12/9 = 158.5 surprised to say the least / first time in 10 years my weight is 1-5-anything!
12/16 = 158.0 no food days at work or parties helps & stuck with CICO
12/23 = 157.5 no "workouts" but shoveled snow & snowshoed, busy with Christmas preparations
Reminder: Weight loss is not linear. At least not for me.

I like what I am reading here. And I think this may be just what I need to get me moving in the right direction. Will continue to look it over and if I continue to feel this would be a good group for me, I will officially start on January 1st, 2018.4

Don't eat anything that is less than delicious
Don't give up because it's a holiday

12/23 Saturday:
Well I didn't log on to post my JFT, but I did get a ton of stuff done today. Woke up early, spent all day grocery shopping for the weekend and week, then organized kitchen panty etc. Finalized some presents then wrapped gifts. Prepared for Christmas Eve and Christmas. My exercise was shopping today. With all the people out, it took me 4 hours to get groceries At least it's done! I only forgot one thing, my doggie stocking stuffer but my hubby will get that tomorrow So hopefully I'm done running around until next weekend.
I'm encouraged by everyone doing a great job during the holiday! I appreciate the reality that you all share, sometimes exercising can be put on hold for special occasions I'm not going to overwhelm myself. I just want to relax and enjoy the holiday. I'm playing hostess this year so that'll take some work but I should still have time to relax.

3) Drink >12c water / net calories w/i 100 green = 10c water I think and net calories red after supper...made Tuscan tortellini soup, with sausage & cream, croutons on top, not low-cal but oh so yummy! Then got into some Christmas candy (see #5) and stopped logging. The good news: my daily weigh-in shows me maintaining, which is all I want right now. Maybe all my preparations and "busy-ness" are enough activity to burn those calories.
4) Wrap brother's gift = Done...all finished! Wrapping is not my strong suit.
5) Assemble stocking bags (tradition from years ago) = Done...always love doing this for my family, so fun to gather the treats & small gifts
6) Have relaxing evening with hubby = With days off & weird schedule, totally forgot Packers played game Sat. evening. I watched while hubby fiddled with snowblower, still not working. Turns out, needs either new float or carburetor. Until he fixes, we shovel (good exercise ). Arctic blast forecast for coming week, not snow. Brrrr.

2) Make stollen (another tradition)
