Ok, here I go again!
12/30: 215.3
Getting there slowly but surely. I'm going to give in and go to the doctor for my back and hip; it's not getting any better, and I want to get back to exercising! Think I'll go sit in the hot tub at least!
12/31: 213.4
01/01: 213.2
HAVE A HAPPY AND BLESSED NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!
01/02: Woke up late; had already started drinking coffee before I remembered I was supposed to weigh. Didn't sleep much last night. So many doctors appt. and I'm already tired. But nobody told me that the road would be easy; I don't believe He brought me this far to leave me!9 -
Oh I am definitely in. I have never taken part in any of these challenges before but am trying to get back to eating healthily and exercising after a very long break. Hoping this will give me some motivation and accountability!

I did these 10 day challenges for a while last spring, but really let myself go throughout the fall, and even more since Thanksgiving. I have started to eat lots of "crap" again and stopped logging. As a result, I am currently just under 149 pounds, from a low of 137 last April. I started at 193 in July of 2016. I'd like to get back down to 140 in the next 2 months. I joined a gym in late November, but have not been going. I am committing to change to be healthier, in both the amount and quality of food I eat, and in getting regular exercise.
Welcome back. I remember you from the first few challenges I did... we have similar stats; starting weight was the same, we are both moms, both from California. ;-) You've got this!3 -

It would be awesome to see a familiar face. My second group to help me get through the holiday months is just wrapping up, and I needed something else. Weigh in is once a week. I just thought I'd share.
Already there, super excited to see you too!3 -

1/2--221.7 NSV-I drank my required water and then some which is a big deal for me because I find it harder to get my water in on my days off. Going to kettlebell tonight.

1/1 - ? - no scale, still at home
1/2 - 227.8 - moment of truth after 9 days at my parent's house with all the old habits that got me where I was, so naturally it's no shocker I'm up basically 9 pounds over the holidays (it's like a pound per day 0.0) but I didn't do much activity and didn't eat well so I'm not surprised. Some is likely water retention and honestly I'm not really bothered because I had a good time and I'm back in the city where I can go back to my usual routine. No regrets, I had an excellent holiday, now back to work.

Happy New Year, everyone!
OSW (4/25/17): 320.0
R26SW: 265.4
R27SW: 263.5
Got a late start posting, as I’ve been on the road home through the Rockies for 3 days.
12/29 - 263.5
Starting my road trip today! My goal is to avoid all carbs during the drive.
12/30 - 262.8
Yay! I stopped a couple of hours into my drive to meet my aunt and her bestie for lunch. Both are really supportive of my journey and are on similar paths themselves. I was able to stick to just an ahi tuna steak, salad, and cauliflower mash for the meal, which set me up for most of the day! Stuck to protein-based snacks and stayed hydrated for the rest of the drive!
12/31 - 261.0
Awesome! I’m only 5 lbs away from my next goal, which is to lose 64 lbs; 20% of my starting body weight. And I only have about a 4-hour drive to get the rest of the way home. Can’t wait to see my man and my kitties!
1/1 - 261.0
Happy New Year! So happy to be home and able to sleep in my own bed again!
1/2 - 261.0
I’ve got a big day today and spent most of the night thinking instead of sleeping. I think I would have lost this morning if I’d had a full night of sleep! I’m hoping to get through everything today to spend my honey’s birthday with him tonight.

I'm in. I was going to give it a rest, but thought better of it. Lol! I need the discipline after December. Not weighing was a big mistake over the holidays.
Long-term Focus: In the normal range for my age height and build, on maintenance.
December was a very indulgent month. This round, I am focused on losing my holiday baggage.
I HAVE the power and determination to do this.
Primary Goal - 160lbs +/- 2lbs. 1lb per round.
to all the Newbies, and Hi to those returning for another Round. This has given me a motivational element of daily accountability.
Observations, and Previous RoundsMany events along the way will scupper our best intentions, but they merely delay the achievement of our goals. Life is for living, and one must learn patience. It takes many years to put on excess weight, so It follows that it takes much time to remove, but it does come off, bit by stubborn bit! If you stick with it! The game continues!
A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in a gain due to water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!
