10 Day Goal: I don't know. Right now I'm just hoping not to gain more weight.
Day/Weight/Comment
12/29- 146.08 (weight a few hours after eating) Still struggling to maintain calorie goal with family here.
12/30-145.64 Did better today with my eating. Hoping the weather holds up just a bit so I can get a walk in tomorrow.
12/31 144.98 Went on a really nice hike despite the strong wind. Think I was probably well over on calories though. No alcohol, but we did have dinner with friends and family for New Years Eve.
1/1 Forgot to weigh before breakfast and then we were out of the house most of the day. I walked 2+ hours today. Splurged on a Cafe Mocha, but it should have been within my calories.

12/31-137.0-meh...

A New Year's gift from my scale, completely undeserved. I was 158.5 on 12/28 so I'm not too proud of the last few days. I'm not through with the risky season because my birthday is coming up, but although I've been overeating at least I'm more or less maintaining. Thanks for the shout-out and nudge @quiltingjaine I don't really have treats at home, it's at work that I do the most damage. Then I come home and overeat things like Ezekiel bread and almond cheese, lol.5 -

I'm in. I was going to give it a rest, but thought better of it. Lol! I need the discipline after December. Not weighing was a big mistake over the holidays.
Long-term Focus: In the normal range for my age height and build, on maintenance.
December was a very indulgent month. This round, I am focused on losing my holiday baggage.
I HAVE the power and determination to do this.
Primary Goal - 160lbs +/- 2lbs. 1lb per round.
to all the Newbies, and Hi to those returning for another Round. This has given me a motivational element of daily accountability.
Observations, and Previous RoundsMany events along the way will scupper our best intentions, but they merely delay the achievement of our goals. Life is for living, and one must learn patience. It takes many years to put on excess weight, so It follows that it takes much time to remove, but it does come off, bit by stubborn bit! If you stick with it! The game continues!
A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in a gain due to water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!

I just thought I'd share.

12/30….161
12/31….161
1/1….163…. celebrations are done…..now to start over and start eating clean again, start tracking again, and start some type of exercise. After I lost 10 pounds after I joined MFP on January 1st last year I was able to keep it off until recently. Need to get back to my original and want to lose another 10 and keep it off…..of course more weight would be great but I want to maintain it and change my lifestyle more permanently so that I don’t keep having to lose the same pounds over and over again!!
1/2 …..162 back to work for me today.
