Things only bigger people know and do...

There was a post a while back about what bigger people do, ...such as ordering fast food and make it seem like its for a few people, when you know its all for you...But I couldn't find it, so I'll start a new one.

Being bigger I would never wear shorts, shorter then knee length. So when shaving, I would only go to my knees. And leave the upper legs alone. Since no one saw them but me, why waste the time shaving.

So what are some of the things that you have done??

Welcome!

I wear big sweatshirts to hide my belly, but in the summer when it's too hot to wear them, I will tie it around my waist to hide the "lower" belly.

I also point my chin forward and look up a little when I have to be in a picture to hide the fact that I have a double chin.

And I totally do the shaving thing!

One time I couldn't fit into some pants I had always worn so i wrapped a ponytail holder around the button and tied it into the hole on the other side.. gave me like another inch of wiggle room.. lol how ridiculous.

All of you ladies should be ashamed of yourselves for the "shaving thing"

When flying on an airplane I've always tried to get an aisle seat...and prayed that the arm rest opens on both sides...that way I can hang slightly in the aisle instead of smushing the poor person who got stuck sitting in the middle seat next to me...

Fortunately...I now have to pay for a ticket for my child...so I'm guaranteed a little extra room because my child doesn't take up her entire seat....

down side...I'm now having to pay for two airline tickets...

i've ALWAYS shaved my entire legs! lol. even when i didn't wear shorts that didn't cover my thighs. we also had a pool so my legs still did show sometimes. then after i moved out of my mom's i was living with my boyfriend and i didn't want him to feel my hairy legs lol.

i've always bought my belts bigger so i could leave my pants unbuttoned and just wear a belt to hide that they weren't buttoned.

I'm guilty of the shaving thing (I won't wear shorts, just crops or capris). And I'm guilty of trying to 'stretch' out shirts that have either shrank in the dryer or were too small. And also guilty of the posing for pics thing, so i avoid a huge triple chin! Lol.

  • Avoid booths at a restaurant. Sometimes(most), I couldnt fit in. So embarrassing. Even now, I will sometimes skip them, then realize I can now fit in them. :embarassed:

In pics, I'd like to have the kids sitting on my lap...Helped hide my fatness.

Did the shaving thing too....why waste the water/shaving cream/and time when no one sees it.

This may be a bit personal, but I'd only "do it" in the dark! Been married to the same man almost 12 yrs, and most of that time have been ashamed of my body...although he always told me Im beautiful!

i used to stretch my shirts too! one of my best friends did to and we used to help each other stretch our shirts! one would grab the shoulders and the other would grab the bottom and we'd walk away from each other.

    Guilty!!!

Also letting my hair hang in my face a bit too much to hide the chubby cheeks a little bit on the sides.
