I would see if you can get some recommendations on exercises from a physical therapist. Your doctor should be willing to refer you so it is covered by insurance. I feel for you, that is rough having a leg and an arm out at the same time. I would most certainly go to a professional for recommendations so that you don't risk doing any further damage. Hang in there, sending fast healing vibes your way.1 -

It's a rest day for Hammer and Chisel today, but I did manage to sneak in a 4-mile run on the treadmill. It's waaaaaayyyy too cold to run outside today. Florida doesn't generally go below 50F in the winter. This 30-degree stuff is not good! My dress for my daughter's wedding is light weight, sleeveless, and doesn't have a back! The weather has 6 days to get back on track!2

Met up with the local Y’s running club this evening. Rowed a little to warm up, then did three sets of running and strength work. The first mile was fine. The second mile, after weighted squats and lunges, was uncomfortable. The third mile was downright painful. But I got to the end!4

Hopped on the scale and it shifted—I’m so happy! I am trying to keep perspective. Water weight is the likely culprit. Still it is heartening!5

6km outdoor run yesterday followed by 1 hour of yoga = feeling wonderful!2

Did Kenpo X this morning followed by a 2 hour hike with the family! There was meant to be a swim halfway through, but the beach was drowning in seaweed - not terribly inviting!3

Starting to get back into the training groove. Felt fairly good during last night's swim. This mornings work was a 90 minute indoor trainer ride. My bike fitter made some adjustments that really helped with my comfort while in the aero position on the bike. Now its just time in the saddle to build endurance until I can get outside.
Looking forward to another swim clinic session tomorrow, but I'm still hobbled by a cranky heel, so the long run will be slow.

Workout done! biceps, triceps, shoulders, abs with some stretching. Actually got myself into a fully-extended plow pose and a shoulder stand today! So, exceeded my expectations there.4

My legs are still sore from squats and lunges on Thursday night, but my mom and I walked for hours today in NYC (11k steps, says the Garmin), so I think that counts. My normal daily count is just 2k (I work at home)4

Ran 2.5 miles today. I do the Jeff Galloway method, and today I walked a minute and ran 90 seconds through most of the run. Slowly rebuilding my stamina.5

Good day kids, My new trainer kicked my can. I needed it too. I was invited again to naked yoga this upcoming Friday and declined. I am still recovering from the last one...lol.... Have a great day ahead kids.4
