1/20 – 176.8 I really focused on my water intake yesterday. Im bad at drinking as much water and I think thats my big downfall. Weather is finally nice today, Im planning to spend some time outside!
1/21 – 176.1 Yesterday was a great food day for me. Today I have a brunch planned. I just need to make smart decisions and may attention to portions!

1/22 – 173.5 Not exactly sure what happened here. A friend made me brunch so I ate the majority of my calories around 11am. It definitely was not healthy either. I made sure to drink a lot of water and only eat small amounts the rest of the day. Also, my scale measures body fat and my body fat was down A LOT. Maybe I have been really dehydrated.

01/13: 157.0 Yesterday evening, walked in Frenzy on the Fox 5K (paved trail, plowed & salted) in 47:26 pace 15:19 per mile. I was having a hard time recommitting myself to this after I gained about 7 lbs over the holidays but I’m back on track. I think the problem was that I tried to eat super healthy like I used to from the beginning, when I had gotten back into the habit of eating sweets and stuff. So I’m cutting back on desserts and then next on the list is soda. Also making more meals at home. Still can’t exercise, as my ankle is in recovery mode from an injury. I’m off crutches but still having to sit around a lot.

I’m about 15# smaller than the 40 year reunion and about 20# more than 50 years ago. I really would love to continue to lose. I have until April 20. I need to get my lazy butt out of the chair, too!
01/21 146.0 Yesterday I was way under on calories, under on fat and protein, good on carbs, drank almost 4 qts of water plus coffee and Coke Zero w/vodka. Sitting at basketball for 4.5 hours = sore bum!

01/18 = 218.4. I like this number! But I need to be careful. I have a tendency to celebrate on days like this by having mini "fall off the wagon" moments. Going to stay focused!
01/19 = 216.4. Played basketball last night and burned more than 1000 calories. Getting into the groove getting under my calorie goals. Drinking tons of water.
01/20 = 216.8. Stay calm, me. Fluctuations are not an issue. I had 1/2 a beer last night and went out to lunch with co-workers (though didn't do too badly). I'm totally on-track, I just need to keep showing up (being accountable). Basketball in an hour and a half (GOOD!!!), brother-in-law's baby shower all day (ROUGH!!!). I. Can. Do. This. Moderation, listen to my body (re: food/hunger), stay accountable. Breathe.
01/21 = 217.2. Basketball was great. Finally left the gym without my back being sore. Baby shower WAS rough, but I did better than I have in the past (drinking/eating/everything related to parties). Ate all my basketball calories, and then some. But still feeling good and motivated, and still have time to reach my goal for this challenge.
01/22 - 217.0. Ate light during the day because my wife's foodie friend's birthday was last night. Portions were light, but the food was insane, and so were the drinks (all 3 of them). My goal every weekend is to get through without sabotaging the good work I do all week. I did well this weekend, under difficult circumstances!

1/20 - 153.9 ✔️... But will it stay. Have afternoon tea planned for Sunday. Hope to get a good walk in but looks like lots of rain and I’m getting my hair done!!

1/21 - 153.9 ... 1750 calories/ 29,480 steps
1/22 - 153.9 ... 1570 calories/ 21,030 steps. Went for Tea and had a nice rainy walk. Hard to calculate the calories consumed at Tea, but looks to be ok. Trying to balance calories and TDEE. Don't want to lose too fast, but I don't want to stall either.

Sigh. I did eat over my goal yesterday, although not by much. I was hungry. I really struggle with being hungry at night. I'm thinking of trying a bigger breakfast with lots of protein & good fat, which always holds me over most of the day, so I eat less at lunch and dinner. I'm avoiding "shoulds," so no "should not eat after dinner" for me. I just end up breaking my rule and feeling bad about it. I know I do better in terms of both hunger and weight loss on the days when I have a big breakfast or lunch and skip dinner, then eat 300 or so healthy calories later. (Thinking onscreen here

).

1/18…..164……borrowed a Advocare DVD from a co-worker and got about 20 minutes of exercise late this afternoon before getting interrupted. It’s a start and I need to get a streak going.
1/19-1/21 weighed but didn’t get around to posting.
1/22….164 Blizzard going on here…my husband attempted to get me to work, then I could have stayed in town in a motel…..but we got less than 2 miles and it was so horrible at 7 am this morning that we were able to get turned around and back home. Hoping not to lose power(I work for the electric company..which doesn’t mean anything in these conditions). They told me to bake while I am home…..Only enough chocolate chips and sugar for one batch of cookies. I have to have enough cookies to take to work if I get there tomorrow……which means I can’t eat many especially with my husband home tooo….he will be eating some.
