I’m in. Goal is to lose 3 pounds. I have been slacking off for months now and not making any real progress. I gained about 10 pounds since the summertime. I need to work hard and get back to where I was over the summer because I think that’s where I want to maintain. Just wanted to vent/share.

I was having a hard time recommitting myself to this after I gained about 7 lbs over the holidays but I’m back on track. I think the problem was that I tried to eat super healthy like I used to from the beginning, when I had gotten back into the habit of eating sweets and stuff. So I’m cutting back on desserts and then next on the list is soda. Also making more meals at home. Still can’t exercise, as my ankle is in recovery mode from an injury. I’m off crutches but still having to sit around a lot.

But, I did do an hour of intense cardio to burn some of it up. His 18th birthday is tomorrow, so we will be doing cupcakes to celebrate instead of an eat on all week cake.

Hi Everyone! Back again for daily weight tracking. It was one of the key factors in getting me where I am and I expect it's going to be key in keeping me there.

GW - 145 - blew past this in mid October
I've been maintaining nicely under 145...feel great when my rolling 7 day avg is around 143-143.5. I'm going to stick with trying to keep it here for the next couple of weeks while work is nuts. Once Feb hits and things settle a bit and I have more work from home time I'm going to set some new goals...maybe to loose 5 more or just work on re-comping and some higher fitness goals.

I met my goal weight a few months ago. My new goal now is to stay around 115 average. I seem to be settling in around 113-115 lately. 01/23 = 215.2. I'm kind of rocking this right now. Almost to my updated challenge goal! Had basketball last night, and I noticed that I had more energy than usual. Late night eating is tough to get away from on basketball nights, or when my wife gets off work late. Trying to keep those dinners super light. Really trying to stay away from empty calorie snacks (chips/sweets), drinking a protein shake instead. Don't get overconfident. Don't "celebrate" (taking a cheat day) just because I have a good day or week. I forget that celebrations (times it's difficult to control food/alcohol intake) seem to show up often enough all by themselves (like every f***ing weekend). Stay focused. Keep doing what's working.
