Not long after you hit 40 yrs there is like a biological switch that goes off and things in your body change. Everything rakes so much longer to repair if u have an injury and recovery after intense workouts ha ha what a joke!

    I hear ya!

    Hey Hun!
    Are you a PEIslander too?

Today is my 39th birthday. I'm at work but my husband did take me out to lunch. Life is good. Woke up lighter than I was yesterday. Down 41.4 pounds since August and feeling good! Thankful for another year, a healthy body and wonder family/friends.

Happy belated birthday, and congratulations on your weight loss progress.

Well I did the first 3 weeks of 80DO and had good results! I lost 6 pounds and 3" going from 135 to 129 on my 5'5" frame. I stopped for two weeks, because I was traveling. So on Monday I am going to start from scratch.

If anyone wants to see my progress, I am going to document the whole thing with pictures and info etc, shoot me a friend request. Or if you want to share recipes or advice! Community is welcome :)

Oh I am also a physical therapist and a yoga teacher :) And 40 years old, 41 in March :P

42 next week! I kind of love being older. My health journey is much more about what I can do than what I look like!

Feel free to add me and get off my lawn :)

I am stuck at 83kg, I would like to get to 80kg by July and lower my body fat/visceral fat but proving a mission

It's always the last few kg that are the most difficult. I am still losing slowly but steadily, but I am not that close to my goal - still have 12 kg to go
