@Jimb376mfp Thank you for the Spring Inspiration! I always need motivation on the quest for better health. You have been an inspiration for me since starting this challenge in 2017. As I continue to struggle with these final 10 pounds, I smile when I see your posts on any of the topics.

My highest weight was 188 several years ago. Last year I found this challenge at 161 pounds, and everything clicked. I lost 31 pounds in 2017! My goal is 120 (My Air Force weight that I may never see again), but it is a goal. The pictures are me at my heaviest and me this year at 59 years ;) old. I will be running my first 5k in 10 days.

You look lovely Tammie. You are my vintage. I thought your before pic looked pretty good too! Congratulations

Very happy with this week, another kilo gone.

Will be drinking more water coming into next week, I got a new flavour cordial.

Walking 4 miles a day is really having a positive impact on my mental wellness. I feel more positive,
more happy, and feel like I can achieve anything.

Congratulations! Positive vibes help. Another one down.

    3/16: 266.6
    3/23: 267.6

This week's successes: I slipped up as I was trying to getting back on track with my diet after a planned cheat meal. But I kept on logging my food with myfitnesspal and for the first time, I felt like I could see patterns in my overeating. For me, there are certain foods - like pizza, cookies, pancakes and red meat - that I have a really hard time not binging on. I find it much, much easier to not eat them then to try and control my portions.
This week's challenges: I have some parties coming up this weekend and will need to exercise a lot of willpower.

Tough week last week. I moved and between the stress of the move I was out of the loop with my regular routine. It's funny to realize how much one's routine has an affect on one's weight loss.

Previous week's successes: Staying mondful of what I ate.
Previous week's challenges: Messed up routine and lack of water.

Nine days of traveling from Washington State through 8 large states to Mississippi.
I tried to use as many hotel fitness rooms as possible. Carried luggage up and down stairs daily.
On the other hand, ate out tons. I did pretty well getting a salad meal each day for at least 5 of the days.
Can't wait to have a kitchen again! I'm going to probably start weighing next Friday after we find a place to live and move in.

This week’s successes: Same as last week...counting points/calories/exercise and water. I am now back to where I started 11weeks ago! This is beyond comprehension, and I refuse to let this number define me. However, despite what the scale says, I bought and am comfortably wearing a size 12 jeans! Weight/strength training is no joke! My body composition has definitely changed.

Next week’s challenges: none....will continue to work it while wearing my new jeans! ;)
