SPRING INTO ACTION!
We have been through Winter and ready to get for Spring! I hope you are ready to keep going with the Pound a Week Challenge! Keep going, we still have about 40 more weeks.
I worked the 52/52 Pound a Week Challenge in 2016 and 2017. I lost 37# and 43# and I’m very near my GW. It has been a struggle but I’m NOT QUITTING!
Congratulations and keep up the Challenge to all the work requires to Lose a Pound a Week!
(My Weight Loss Journey began 2013 at 376# and age 65. I joined WW and loss 108# after three years (60,32,16)
I still use WW but found the MFP 52/52 Challenge that kept me focused on how much effort it takes to lose One Pound
SW 376 (January 2013, age65)
CW 187 (Loss -189)
GW 184 (Over half my SW!)
Keep trying6 -

@Jimb376mfp Thank you for the Spring Inspiration! I always need motivation on the quest for better health. You have been an inspiration for me since starting this challenge in 2017. As I continue to struggle with these final 10 pounds, I smile when I see your posts on any of the topics.
My highest weight was 188 several years ago. Last year I found this challenge at 161 pounds, and everything clicked. I lost 31 pounds in 2017! My goal is 120 (My Air Force weight that I may never see again), but it is a goal. The pictures are me at my heaviest and me this year at 59 years old. I will be running my first 5k in 10 days.

@Jimb376mfp ...thanks for spearheading this challenge, giving the encouragement, and being an inspiration. I am not losing a pound a week....heck I’m not losing a pound a month...but I am not quitting either! I will continue to chip away at this because where I am is better than where I was...50+ pounds heavier.4

Starting weight: 79kgs
Goal: 65kgs
Last weight: 77.1kgs
This week: 75.8kgs
This week: Loss 1.3kg (actually for month of March)
Total loss for March: 1.3kg
YTD loss: 3.2kgs
This week's successes: I am sticking with low carb and finding it is working well. Continued centimeter loss and now I have a scale weight to boast as well.
This week's challenges: Low carb can be boring and I tend to stick to the same meals to make it easy.It does drain the energy for hard core exercise. I will be riding for 50kms this weekend so I think a few bananas before the ride will be necessary to get me through.
A little hint: My weight was not coming down and then I changed from red meat to salmon for evening meal. It worked a treat. I think I will be eating a lot of salmon for the next month.4 -
Starting weight: 254.8 for (March 20, 2018)
Goal weight: 175 min
Current weight: 254.8 (I just started)
Total weight lost: 0
This week's successes: Starting this journey and joining MFP again.
This week's challenges: Putting old eating habits behind me and exercising a lot cause I'm considered obese.4 -

This week's successes: I slipped up as I was trying to getting back on track with my diet after a planned cheat meal. But I kept on logging my food with myfitnesspal and for the first time, I felt like I could see patterns in my overeating. For me, there are certain foods - like pizza, cookies, pancakes and red meat - that I have a really hard time not binging on. I find it much, much easier to not eat them then to try and control my portions.
This week's challenges: I have some parties coming up this weekend and will need to exercise a lot of willpower.3 -

Tough week last week. I moved and between the stress of the move I was out of the loop with my regular routine. It's funny to realize how much one's routine has an affect on one's weight loss.
Previous week's successes: Staying mondful of what I ate.
Previous week's challenges: Messed up routine and lack of water.

Nine days of traveling from Washington State through 8 large states to Mississippi.
I tried to use as many hotel fitness rooms as possible. Carried luggage up and down stairs daily.
On the other hand, ate out tons. I did pretty well getting a salad meal each day for at least 5 of the days.
Can't wait to have a kitchen again! I'm going to probably start weighing next Friday after we find a place to live and move in.3 -

This week’s successes: Same as last week...counting points/calories/exercise and water. I am now back to where I started 11weeks ago! This is beyond comprehension, and I refuse to let this number define me. However, despite what the scale says, I bought and am comfortably wearing a size 12 jeans! Weight/strength training is no joke! My body composition has definitely changed.
Next week’s challenges: none....will continue to work it while wearing my new jeans!
