I wish they would make our replies move from one page to the next instead of vanishing! I had written a couple of things and can only remember one!

@AshEvelynn and @suebee143 It’s good to see you both back!

@puddlegoober Your blood normally has 1T of sugar in it. Think of what you are doing by eating sugar and your body sending insulin to send it to storage (as fat) as you don’t need it! You body is capable of producing glucose from protein. If you mention Keto to your doc, call it nutritional ketosis, it’s what allowed the cavemen to survive.

@rtls May I ask what is wrong? Sending prayers.

@Amjcance I totally agree about the inflammation. My knees started hurting at 17 years old and stoped within weeks of going Keto last July, at 67 1/2! Why would I want to go back?!?

Felt of the grid for a while.... but here I am trying again :) hopefully it will be a success this time:

    Round 36 SW: 69.0 kg
    Round 36 GW: 68.5 kg
    UGW: 60 kg

    Day/Weight/Comment
3/29 - 69.0 kg - hey, I had gotten to 70.00 for a couple of days, so being back in the 60's is good. Ate salmon for lunch and salad with juuust a little bit of pasta for dinner. Score score
3/30 - 68.8 kg - happy my cholesterol is in check, also looking forward to the weekend. Forgot my lunch card at home - not the best thing to do, since the other cafeteria serves only fast food. I'll try to find something tasty and healthy (I do love seemingly impossible missions).

3/30 274.8 A little surprising but was a tad sick with upset stomach so guessing my body sucked in some water as was under calorie and did a light cardio for my off day at gym

Nothing works unless you have a sustained calorie deficit over time. Anything will work if you have a sustained calorie deficit over time.

Motivation is overrated. What you need is education, willingness to eat less, a good plan, and discipline to stick to it.

According to Big Fat Myths: When You Lose Weight, Where Does the Fat Go? which is an interesting perspective on "diet" 148oz / 9.25 lbs of food/water/oxygen a day but depending on how efficient everything processes we don't operate on a perfect 24 hour cycle to use all that so you get those fluctuations. I think that is semi comforting to keep in mind we are not robots and CICO doesn't operate at perfect 24 hour scale either.

    1988 high school graduation 185-190lbs
    weight on 1/29/18 = 234.5
new goal - drop below 190 feed and watered
    round 33 - start=215lbs end 202lbs
round 34 - start = 202 end 192.8lbs stomach empty and bone dry
    round 35 - start = 192 end 196lbs

round 36 new goal. weigh in on my 48th birthday at high school weight.

3/29 - 195lbs. major munchies late last night so kinda surprised at a loss.

3/30 - 195lbs - surprising after eating 800 calories worth of turkey burgers last night.

true but funny story. failed PT/INR blood test (1.3) and my doctor recommended I stay away from brussel sprouts and other green leafy veggies. I know I should eat consistently but they were on sale and I bought 20 bags of them.

Age 60, 5'4" and eating in a livable way = It's. Not. A. Diet. I eat back exercise calories, or I would be starving and cranky. Hubby does not like cranky me.
    MFP SW 195 ~ Goals: #1 = 150 / #2 = 145 [normal BMI] / #3 = maintain 140 - 145
Thrilled with my 2/15/18 annual physical: BP 110/68, pulse 64 and BMI 26.14

My digital scale only has 1/2# increments, and I'm too cheap to buy a fancier scale. Weigh first thing in morning / comments reflect prior day.

@lorit1394 Great idea having the timer for your water!

@amandacmariej I would call 1.6 a whoosh but not everyone gets whooshes. I bobble up and down and sometimes get a down x 2. Patience is a virtue but also can be frustrating!
