This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.
4/8 138.5
4/9 138.0 Water fitness this morning and I am going to begin to clean my sewing room. I have been in a funk and there is not a surface that isn’t buried! The daybed is covered with clothes that were a little small when I bought them last summer. They will either fit now or be too big! When I hit this weight last week, did I say I hadn’t visited this number since 2011? 10 days to HS reunion!
4/10 138.0 The last day of my 100 day challenge!
4/12 138.5 Had horrible leg cramps after water fitness. Glad my friends were near and helped get me to the shallow water!
4/13 138.0 I ate some French fries last night. They did not agree with me.
4/14 137.5 Too chilly for water fitness this morning. The high today is supposed to be 74. 93 one day, two days later almost 20 degrees cooler! Spring in the desert!8 -

Goal Weight: 169 BMI: 24.95
28-1/2 months later, I’ve got 5.2 lbs to go!6 -
4/8: 142.6, Lord I sure could use A LOT of motivation. Fell down the rabbit hole in the summer of 2016. No excuses because I have little patience for them. 20 months and 20 lbs later I feel exhausted and disappointed.
4/9: 143.6, gotta love that beer and restaurant backlash. Didn’t have enough calories today, under 1000. My only indulgence was 1 glass of wine. Got busy and suddenly it’s 8:00
4/10: 140.8, Buh Bye water weight. Today was a struggle to consume enough real food calories. I’ve been overly busy at work and home and I’m making a herculean effort to avoid processed frankin-food and the “Mile High pie” my coworker brought in to share with us. I wanted to shake her and ask “have you any idea how difficult it is to stay on track with your amazing looking pie in the break room?” Gold plated problems. Le sigh…
4/11: 138.8, this is unexpected. Should return to normal by tomorrow. In the meantime I’ll enjoy the moment.
4/12: 139.4, Yesterday was a good food day. On target with romaine, tomato, 4 oz salmon salad, 8 oz tomato and a whole wheat wrap with avocado and home made salsa for lunch. Dinner as 3 oz of ham, steamed broccoli, thin sliced 21 grain bread (60 calories of bready-goodness) and 6 oz of red wine. It was a poopy day at work, but we passed state inspection. Today's goal - no wine , more water (I've been way below my norm), 80-90% unprocessed foods (exceptions - a whole wheat wrap, a thin slice of bread, store bought condiments and juices)
4/13: 137.4, I’m liking this number! Yesterday I enjoyed the same lunch. Dinner was home-made white bean, ham, and veggie soup, steamed broccoli, and toasted 21 grain thin slice of bread with 44g of avocado. I met my daily goal, too8 -

4/9 - 227.5
Packing up for an overnight trip out of town, and I’m planning ahead!
4/10 - No weigh-in (out of town)
4/11 - 227.9
I’m trying not to worry about this one! It’s that time of the month, and I ate pretty late just before going to bed last night.

Haha, slowing down after a sharp period of loss, I suppose! I don’t mind—I’ll just keep plugging along!!

I’ve got a crazy weekend planned, so I need to really focus. I’ve made a plan that will inevitably change 384829375 times, so this will be a great challenge for me to roll with these changes and stay on track!

4/12 Joining late @ 254.6lbs. Which is way up from last week, and why I need to check in with some fantastic and encouraging people! Got plans all laid out, meal list, workout and SLEEP. Which is what usually sabotages me. Going grocery shopping in the AM after work and the goal is to resist impulse shopping. I have a list!
4/13 251.0 That's what happens when I stop eating junk and drink lots of water. Also, work a busy 12 hours shift! I stuck to my list at the grocery this morning! You all are a good influence already.

I am so sorry. My mother passed about a week ago. It is hard, especially with the food others are bringing, I can't easily quantify the calories. I decided to focus on portion control, water, and not gaining. Talking things out with family and friends has helped far more than any amount of eating ever could.7 -

So happy hit 8,087 steps. Due to surgery it is tough. As soon as I eat I wear it around my waist.
4/9 - I was so happy the scale went the other way. Going to take it easy today. Today is my grand-daughter birthday so I want to keep the swelling down. I only sleep on the average 3 hours.
4/10-Everyday I feel stronger and stronger. The swelling goes from my head to the bottom of my neck. I went shopping today that felt good. Walking steps -8,000 I have to be very careful wth eating, trying to eat healthy!
4/11 -glad my weight is not going higher I have one more week of taking steroids. Today I could not get outside because it as cold and raining. I have been drinking at least 15 glasses of water (only). Eating healthy but I need crackers in between.
I am so thankful I am part of this group.
4/12 Today has been 3 weeks since my surgery. I feel so great, and lucky. Eating is hard, I want bread and crackers. Not much sleep at night 2- 4 hours.
4/13 - I was busy today, made a vegetable soup, cut vegetables @ fruit to have ready. My weight is going up and down because of steroids plus from the forehead down to the bottom of my neck is all swollen I can hardly wait to stop them on Wednesday. They call for a big ice storm this weekend which will make it hard to go outside.

Round 37 = Goal = Maintain 125-130. Going on a significant trip 4/12-4/24, away from scale and kitchen and kitchen scale and likely, some of the time, internet. Will be an emotional trip too, I can guarantee. So just hoping and praying I can be sensible, in every way, not just about food.
4/8 - 127.2 - under maintenance yesterday and 10K steps. Have not done any regular exercise in a week apart from some walking-grade aerobics.
4/9 - 127.0 - yesterday high on emo and calories, low on steps, and a new low weight today. Maybe excess cortisol burns calories my fitbit can't detect. JK, I know this is just a bounce waiting to happen.
4/10 - 126.8 - yesterday under maintenance calories, 13K steps, 2 mile run.
4/11 - 127.0 - yesterday just over maintenance calories, but 10K steps and some planks. Can't believe this new "right around 127" weight is really a thing, but it looks like this week it is!
4/12 - 126.6 - yesterday under calories but only 7500 steps. Up till 2AM getting ready.
Won't have a scale (food or person) while gone; won't have internet connection for 6 days; will report progress this round but likely not be able to start round 38 until I return. Really curious about how I do on this 12 days away, with both food and stress.
Meanwhile, still dropping weight on maintenance LOL
4/13 - traveling. Yesterday under calorie goal, 8000 steps and 375 miles. Today, under calories, 5800 steps and 750 miles.

4/8 -- 201.2
4/9 -- 201.0 mostly on plan today. I adjusted my expectations from 1200 calories per day to 1370 -- I just wasn't able to make it on a consistent basis. I'd prefer to lose slower and set lifestyle habits for myself than potentially lose faster but with a plan I can't sustain.
4/10 -- 200.6
4/11 -- 198.6 I like this whoosh! Ironically I'm finding it a lot easier to stay under 1200 calories when I allow myself a daily limit of 1370. Whatever tricks my brain wants to use are fine with me.
4/12 -- 197.6 Still whooshin'. I know that this is just the starting whoosh that comes after getting back on track after a long time of giving in to bad habits. I'm hoping to move well along the road before it tapers off.
4/13 -- 196.8 Starting to worry that I'm going to bounce back badly when I stop whooshing. I have been perfectly on plan all week, though, so maybe it's legit.
4/14 -- 196.4 First time I stepped on the scales it read 196.0. Thought I should check again. Hope I can hold on to this until the end of the challenge.

Diet LIFESTYLE Started: on the 13/10/2017 @ SW:106.9kg- 235lbs after my girlfriend had to do my shoe laces up for me before a wedding we attended, after 2 years of stopping and starting that was the thing that made me change
GW:75kg - 165lbs
First full round!
Targets:
Sober April - (FAILED! But it was a family 40th wedding anniversary party so...!?)
Less than 196lbs by end of April
Daily food goal is 2000 calories
Day - Weight - Comment
4/8 - 95.1kg - 209.6lbs - Had a family party to attend and it was a big occasion, lots of beer, food and there was no way I was able to keep track of it, it happens oh well! Probably find the food weight drops off in a couple of days! Had an output of 3095 calories mainly due to me working on the Saturday walking up and down the floors doing some upgrades, used the stairs instead of the lift! End of this round I will be happy with 204lbs... hopefully. (Weigh time 7:00am)
4/9 - 94.4kg - 208.1lbs - 2050 calories vs 2255 expenditure, had a nice even day of eating while I was working on Sunday to balance out the craziness of Saturday night, this is mainly just food and water weight but if it happens again I’m not going to moan! (Weigh time 7:30am)
4/10 - 93.7kg - 206.5lbs - 1884 calories vs 2668 expenditure,I got a day off for all the weekend work so I literally did nothing but go and grab a couple of pairs of jeans from the shops, how I managed to drop again yesterday I don’t know but keep it coming! Surely not another drop tomorrow?! Not exercised in 6 days, was going to cycle to work today but RAIN (UK) killed all hopes of that. (Weigh time 7:30am)
4/11- 93.7kg - 206.5lbs - 1879 calories vs 2944 expenditure, the drop ends with a nice even number, normal day back in the office for me, very disciplined with my food as a normal day is, lots of water, went and watched the football in the evening, didn’t cycle again because of that god damn rain! On target for 92.5kg/204lbs by the end of the round hopefully.... stay strong and don’t give up people! (Weigh time 6:30am)
4/12 - 92.9kg - 204.8lbs -1600 calories vs 2958 expenditure, WOW! I i know I’ve been strict lately but my god, must still be weight from the Holiday/Saturday night binge I guess, expecting a rise tomorrow I’d say... I’ve also challenged someone at work to see who can lose the most by June 1st, hopefully I can win.... stay focused people just think about the long term. (Weigh time 6:30am)
4/13 - 93kg - 205lbs - 1567 calories vs 2975 expenditure, ITS OFFICIALLY 6 MONTHS TO THE DAY THAT I STARTED MY DIET AND I HAVE LOST 13.9KG/30LBS, nice level weigh in today very happy, managed to cycle into work this morning as the weather held up and it felt GREAT, working late this evening as we have a power down so will be lots of running around lifting things so a few calories got rid of then, and then hopefully planning on cycling home maybe half way then get the train the rest of the way, we shall see.... feeling good, four more days of this round can i get into the 91kg range!? (Weigh time 6:00am) - PS I AM GONNA SMASH THIS CHALLENGE AGAINST MY COLLEAGUE!
4/14 - 92.6kg - 204.1lbs - 1721 calories vs 3829 expenditure, I was finally able to cycle yesterday because because the weather held up and did a total of 16.5 miles, walked up and down the stairs in our building during the evening work so burnt more then, and started my running journey by running 0.82 miles and managed to do it in 6:50 which I was relatively happy with! I am almost 100% sure I can manage another 0.1kg in the next 3 days! (Weigh time 7:30am)

Nothing works unless you have a sustained calorie deficit over time. Anything will work if you have a sustained calorie deficit over time.
Motivation is overrated. What you need is education, willingness to eat less, a good plan, and discipline to stick to it.

4/8 222.2
4/9 221.0 I was surprised but happy about this. Lower sodium intake.
4/10 221.2
4/11 220.8. The ten pounds from 230 to 220 makes a difference in my activity level.
4/12 220.0 Husband had to restrict his diet yesterday to clear liquids, so I supported him by having clear chicken
broth for supper with him. Later ate 4 apples because I was famished. Poor guy goes in this morning
and I expect will be eating something filling for lunch. I expect this loss back.
4/13 221.0 I am not disheartened. Just happy to be bouncing around down here instead of at 230.
