Start this FINAL weight loss journey 10/18/2017 = 147.9
Start Just Give Me 10 Days ... 11/9/2017
    R22 * Start = 143.4 * Ave = 141.9 * Min = 140.2 * End = 141.2
    R23 * Start = 142.0 * Ave = 140.1 * Min = 139.4 * End = 139.6
    R24 * Start = 140.0 * Ave = 138.6 * Min = 137.0 * End = 137.0
    R25 * Start = 136.6 * Ave = 137.0 * Min = 135.8 * End = 135.8
    R26 * Start = 136.6 * Ave = 135.6 * Min = 134.8 * End = 136.0

    R29 * Start = 132.6 * Ave = 131.8 * Min = 130.6 * End = 131.8
    R30 * Start = 132.4 * Ave = 131.4 * Min = 130.6 * End = 130.6
    R31 * Start = 130.6 * Ave = 130.9 * Min = 130.0 * End = 130.8
    R32 * Start = 130.0 * Ave = 130.0 * Min = 129.0 * End = 131.0
    R33 * Start = 130.0 * Ave = 129.3 * Min = 128.4 * End = 129.2
    R34 * Start = 129.0 * Ave = 128.7 * Min = 128.0 * End = 129.8
    Maintenance Starts
    R35 * Start = 128.6 * Ave = 128.7 * Min = 127.6 * End = 127.6
    R36 * Start = 128.2 * Ave = 128.1 * Min = 127.2 * End = 127.4

Round 37 = Goal = Maintain 125-130. Going on a significant trip 4/12-4/24, away from scale and kitchen and kitchen scale and likely, some of the time, internet. Will be an emotional trip too, I can guarantee. So just hoping and praying I can be sensible, in every way, not just about food.

4/8 - 127.2 - under maintenance yesterday and 10K steps. Have not done any regular exercise in a week apart from some walking-grade aerobics.
4/9 - 127.0 - yesterday high on emo and calories, low on steps, and a new low weight today. Maybe excess cortisol burns calories my fitbit can't detect. JK, I know this is just a bounce waiting to happen.
    4/10 - 126.8 - yesterday under maintenance calories, 13K steps, 2 mile run.
4/11 - 127.0 - yesterday just over maintenance calories, but 10K steps and some planks. Can't believe this new "right around 127" weight is really a thing, but it looks like this week it is!
4/12 - 126.6 - yesterday under calories but only 7500 steps. Up till 2AM getting ready.
Won't have a scale (food or person) while gone; won't have internet connection for 6 days; will report progress this round but likely not be able to start round 38 until I return. Really curious about how I do on this 12 days away, with both food and stress.
Meanwhile, still dropping weight on maintenance LOL
4/13 - traveling. Yesterday under calorie goal, 8000 steps and 375 miles. Today, under calories, 5800 steps and 750 miles.
4/14 - at stepson's. Today 14,500 steps, seemingly all over Albuquerque. Under calories. Can't breathe and got a sty in one eye, thank you allergies.
4/15 - at stepson's, today 13,700 steps and a nice walk atop the 10,000 foot mountain, and may I say my coastal conditioning is not 100% down with that mayhem! Went way over calories on the best red and green Chile sauce in Albuquerque: WORTH IT
4/16 - at stepson's. Some very emotional issues in my family have rather suddenly (it seems) worked their way from seemingly-hopeless to some-amends-honesty-and-caring-have-been-expressed in the last 48 hours and I am so grateful. SO, SO GRATEFUL. Today only 7200 steps as we were busy with chores and planning, under calories.

4/17 - traveling. 10k steps, under calories, Zion is just like I remembered, see you next round.

    Just now joining
    4/10 200lbs
Busy day at work. 11419 steps. We had Arby's for dinner because of a school event, so my calorie intake was about double what I'd like, but according to my fitness tracker I'm (theoretically) still in caloric deficit.
We'll see how the scale continues to react this week.
    4/11 200.5 lbs
Another busy day. 10292 steps. I had vegetables and shrimp for lunch, so not bad, but I did snack a bit too much after work. (Chocolate bunny) Better than yesterday though.
    4/12 200 lbs.
    10986 steps.

Warning- this is depressing. Death mention

Finally admitted to myself that I'm Grief eating. It's mostly unconscious, and I've been keeping myself distracted and busy, but I was at the visitation for my uncle today and I realized what was happening with my eating habits. My Grandpa passed away in Feb right after I decided to get in shape and it took me two weeks to get back on track with my search for a gym membership.
Anyway. My uncle's funeral is tomorrow. I kinda wish I was the type who ate less when stressed/depressed.

    4/15 200lbs
Funeral was Friday. I worked a split shift to keep myself busy, and because it would be impossible to get all of Saturdays desserts ready if I didn't work. Saturday was really really busy I made 956 salads and 312 desserts before collapsing after work. I intended to go out after recovering but freak snow storm instead.
Today I'm laying in bed eating easter candy. I want to go shopping. Or to the zoo or swimming, or anywhere else but here. It's 24¤ out and the streets are covered in ice.

4/16. 201 lbs 6633 steps. Not bad for a day off work. We went to the mall after school so I did much more walking than I usually get without work. Yesterday was the first day in over 50 that I didn't log my food. Today was also a cheat day. I logged everything, but I had more than 2100 calories today. Mostly doughnuts and licorice. Dinner was really healthy though. Falafel with humus.

4/17 202. 10524 steps. Slow day in the kitchen, no food log for today. I did too much tasting and lost track. Scale is moving in the wrong direction, absolutely not surprising.

4/8 / 264.8 / I didn’t drink water at all, in any form. The next few days will be easier in terms of water consumption.

So happy hit 8,087 steps. Due to surgery it is tough. As soon as I eat I wear it around my waist.

4/9 - I was so happy the scale went the other way. Going to take it easy today. Today is my grand-daughter birthday so I want to keep the swelling down. I only sleep on the average 3 hours.

4/10-Everyday I feel stronger and stronger. The swelling goes from my head to the bottom of my neck. I went shopping today that felt good. Walking steps -8,000 I have to be very careful wth eating, trying to eat healthy!

4/11 -glad my weight is not going higher I have one more week of taking steroids. Today I could not get outside because it as cold and raining. I have been drinking at least 15 glasses of water (only). Eating healthy but I need crackers in between.
I am so thankful I am part of this group.

4/12 Today has been 3 weeks since my surgery. I feel so great, and lucky. Eating is hard, I want bread and crackers. Not much sleep at night 2- 4 hours.

4/13 - I was busy today, made a vegetable soup, cut vegetables @ fruit to have ready. My weight is going up and down because of steroids plus from the forehead down to the bottom of my neck is all swollen I can hardly wait to stop them on Wednesday. They call for a big ice storm this weekend which will make it hard to go outside.

4/14- I did not get much sleep last night. Just took it easy. Eating good, its funny since my operation I crave broccoli, my smell is different and taste.

4/15- Stretching, and I did a half hour on the treadmill. (walking only). It was a hard weekend second day of ice- storm. I miss going outdoors. Eating is still not that great, but trying to log my food and no where I'm at. Back on track - maybe Thursday.
    * Have a great week!

4/16- Drinking lots of water, but I can tell my weigh is to high I crave food, two more days of steroids, I slept, I was lucky to get 4 hours in. I am doing amazing. My head where the incision is almost gone, it is almost healed and you would not even know I had Brain surgery except for facial swelling still. We had three days of a ice storm so I could not even go out on the weekend. I can hardly wait to get out walking again. Next round back to normal,
    I'm fighting hard!

4/17 - busy day planning and shopping to make sure I eat healthy! The sidewalks are still icy so hopefully a couple days and I can go walking. Todays Fitbit steps 7,600. I Have 20 pounds to go. I Feel stronger everyday

4/18 still cannot go outside because of the ice, snow tonight and finally suppose to be nice outside. So happy finally finished all medications. Tomorrow healthy eating. Trying to get my portion size down. I need a good night sleep. I have not had one in four weeks.

    R34 SW 278.2 / EW 274.6 -3.6 lbs
    R35 SW 274.6 / EW 274.0 -0.6 lbs

389 lbs start of the official journey 5/1/2016
SW: 269.6 (-4.4 lbs from last round / -119.4 lbs from start weight)
    GW: 265ish
    End GOAL: 220ish

    Day/Weight/Comment
4/8 270.5 Expected because started back to gym after almost week off water going back to the muscles I'll take the weight over the back pain
4/9 272.1 And the water keeps coming I should start a thread and freak out over it or I could just keep following my plan and work out
4/10 270.0 Tweaked my back again at the gym not as bad and was at the end of work out so another no gym day
4/11 269.0 Another off gym day but still going down it is my deload week anyways so need to recover
4/12 268.5 Weather finially acting like spring got a good walk in last night and plan to do the same again 1 more off gym day back feeling good just want to be 100%
4/13 269.6 Little up back still too sore for gym great weather went for good hike and planning on another today
4/14 271.6 Well that a tad unexpected had 2 good walks in perfect weather going to go light at the gym today see if can work my back loose
4/15 272.7 Started lifting at gym yesterday and got long hike in so happy with exercise relatively pain free just going for hike before the rain today
4/16 272.7 Still tad sore but going to go lift today just not 100% but will get some cardo in also before my trip
4/17 272.0 Missed goal but injuries and weather all happened

Nothing works unless you have a sustained calorie deficit over time. Anything will work if you have a sustained calorie deficit over time.

Motivation is overrated. What you need is education, willingness to eat less, a good plan, and discipline to stick to it.
