My belt has to be tighter!12

I wore a dress that I have not been able to wear in well over 1 year!!!20

I did the klutzy slurp of coffee and spilled a little on the floor. It missed my shirt!47

Ran a 12K (7.6 mile) leg of our city's marathon yesterday. Ran it in 1:16:38 (about 10 minute mile pace). My goal was 1:20 so I'm pretty happy with that.33

I haven't really noticed much if I am completely honest - But I also have several other health issues going on that are impeding my perception of what benefits all these lifestyle changes might be having on me. I am hopeful that my story will be a lot different when I am more than a month into making changes!11 -
Aah! I finished Week 5 Day 3 (the doozy) of c25k... that's 20 straight minutes of running. I didn't think I would do it on the first go but I made it all the way through and only the last 3 minutes or so felt unbearable.
On top of that, I hooked c25k up to MFP (just learned you could do that!) and it registered my jog as 11.5 min mile. I have felt this whole time like I'm painfully slow so anything under 12 feels amazing! I have about 1.5 months until my first 5k and it feels so doable now. 3 days ago I was beginning to doubt I could finish at all!31 -
My husband and I RAN A MILE as a WARM UP to our 5 mile bicycle ride yesterday. How is this my life????
A year ago I could literally jog for one minute straight and was completely winded. I worked myself up to running for 20 minutes straight, a 10-12 minute mile.

I think I heard a little voice in my head yesterday at the gym telling me...."go ahead add more weight...what are you waiting for...."sometimes I look at my 53 year old self standing in front of that DL bar wondering wtf are you thinking.... Yesterday I listened to the voice and I did it. 210 pounds.....off the ground. Who am I? There was a day I could barely lift my 267 pound self off the sofa. Joy. Pure joy.48

Over the weekend, I completed my first 4.5 mile run in 2 years. I was sidelined with ankle injury and surgery and the comeback has been slow.23

I ran my first continuous 5 kilometers on Friday. Today's run (25 minutes) was less mileage but it was just for fun. FOR FUN. Who even am I?26

I felt like I went pretty crazy with my eating on Saturday, spending time with friends and dining out 3 times in the same day, and just for fun I did an honest logging of the day (after the fact) and I'm pretty sure I was only about 400 calories over, and got in a little exercise that I didn't even log, to boot. I could have also had beer and more sweets but I didn't, and I was more than satisfied with what I did have. This is a big deal for me because even years into this stuff I sometimes lack hunger/satiety cues.29

A friend complimented me on my high cheekbones, I guess you couldn't see them before weight loss.

I hope this isn’t tmi but I bought a sports bra for the very first time over the weekend. It’s a victory for me just for the fact that I need one with how fast and far I’m walking now.37

I had pizza tonight and I only had 2/3 whereas before I would have had the whole. Saving the rest for dinner tomorrow.29

I started in January of this year and I have surprisingly kept up with my goals! All my clothes from before my weight gain fit! I can also run a solid 20 minutes without dying..(this one is huge for me since I’ve never been able to run longer than 5 minutes) and I’m still able to do the rest of my 1hr workout.28

I checked a mark on my bucket list. Always wanted to run and after 5 months of training finished my first 5k! Very proud of myself!51

I skipped a size in Costco's travel pants. Mostly. I mean, the 12s probably fit as well as the 16s did when I bought them, but I think I will keep wearing the 16s a little while yet.19

I visited Pier 39 and Alcatraz in San Francisco Saturday and climbed hills equivalent of 22 floors and walked more than 5 miles! (And I’ve logged 9K+ steps Sunday and Monday this week.) I never would have been able to do that before I started getting healthy, and if I can do that now at ~290, just thinking about what I’ll be able to do in the future is mind-blowing!38 -
Wearing a pair of pants that I bought 4 years ago and never wore. I bought them when I lost weight before and could almost fit then. I never fit into them. I also did 8 pushups with proper form. 2 months ago I couldn't do one.29

I woke up and decided today is the day I bike to work. I haven't been on a bike in at least two years... I did 16 miles this morning, didn't take as long as I thought I would, and arrived at about the same time I would normally. Victory for sure!49

For the first time in over 2 years, I finally fit back into my size 32 jeans. They are a little snug still, but I'm getting closer to being where I used to be.32

I'm overcoming my eating disorder, today I am 9 days binge free! This is huge for me because before I was binging multiple times every day.61

I'm always in those non-form fitting scrubs so when I stopped into my job at the hospital wearing street clothes, I had co-workers complimenting me and even hugging me saying how "great" I looked. One guy confessed that he didn't even recognize me. He hadn't seen me in a while. That made my day!39

Just tried on my high school grad hoodie from 5 years ago... I probably only weigh 10-20lbs less than I did then, but I'm quite a bit smaller than I was. More muscle mass I suppose!

I'm getting quite good on the rower.
2000 meters in 08:22.
About 3 years ago I once did it under 8 minutes which is really fast but 08:22 is my quickest since then which I completed last week.24 -
