Took me around 18months to lose 142lb, maintained for 4months before starting marathon training during which I put on 8lb, have lost 6.5lb of that though.

Thanks! I needed to hear that. I'm feeling down because I put on a few pounds. My clothes still fit but I just look & feel bigger.4 -

You are inspirational in terms of what you have achieved with your body as well as your mindset. I am considerably overweight with an under-active thyroid and have tried various plans like weight watchers or slimming world but found them too restrictive when it comes to consuming good fats. After researching the thyroid issue more, i have learned that all of these diets can hurt it more because of being low fat or fat free. I am now a big advocate for eating the way you have said you eat, so i love that people will see what is achievable with good fats still in their diet. Thanks!6 -
Here’s progress from August 2015 - August 2016. That’s at about 30 lbs into my weight loss journey. In total, I lost about 40 lbs before I started to gain some back as part of recomp.
As mentioned, I am working on recomp - this is from June 2017 to May 2018 after a year on SL5x5 (June-Dec) Strong Curves (Jan-present). I weigh 5lbs MORE in the second photo.58 -

This is a progress shot of a long-term recomp/gradual weight loss. 11 months and only about 5 lb difference between top and bottom. Ultimate goal is to lose 7 more lbs and go from a 24.5 (current) bf% to 21.5%.38 -

Lost 155 pounds went from 360 to 205 . Mother of 4 needed to take back my life and I did! Eat less move more .
