Hi all - new to the group...I will be 50 later this year -- married with two elementary aged boys -- in good shape but still want to lose that hard to lose 15 lbs...try to stay on track with MFP but it gets tough and I fall off sometimes...I do well with keeping active and exercise almost daily.
Feel free to add me. I am 55 and agree that I gets tough at times. Let's fight the good fight together.
I agree...awesome -- sent you a friend request!0 -
Happy Wednesday all from Maryland. No rain so far - hoping it stays that way. Just took a kickboxing class during lunch and now eating a salad -- feel great! Hope everyone is having a good day!1

Question: I just started on MFP on Sunday (5/20/18) and began walking that day. I walked in really bad shoes until I could buy new ones. I hadn't walked hard in years and just started walking briskly from day 1. I feel like I'm getting shin splints. (I had them when I was younger and running). I looked shin splints up and the research says that the shin splints should be on the inside part of the shin. My pain is on the outside of my shin. Does this even qualify in the shin splints category? Or is it just because I haven't used those muscles in a long time? Should I keep going? Have a great day all!0

Happy Friday Eve! I hope everyone has a great day. Had a fantastic leg workout this morning. It was so good that my legs were shaking in the shower. It is going to be a beautiful day in Virginia today. Make it a great one!

Good Thursday! Was at the gym by 5:30 this morning to ward off the damage from last night's Italian dinner out. Tonight is Indian though--looks like another early gym day tomorrow. Eating out kills me if it's Italian or Indian. Carpe diem!2
