Day/Weight/Comment
6/07 - 170.6 - +2.2 from 06/06, restaurant dinner last night & no gym
6/08 - 170.6 - no loss from yesterday but today’s my weekly weigh in and I’m down 1.4 from last week!
6/09 - traveling - couldn’t weigh but I know it’ll be a gain because of all the food last night. Was worth it tho! Will just have a good week to make up for it

Round 43
R43GW: 62 kgs, and to complete this round.
Day/Weight/Comment
6/07 - 63kgs
6/08 - 63.1kgs. Honestly I know I havent stuck to my macros but I have been tracking my food and I’m still in a slight deficit...definitely not over eating my maintenance..so why am I still gaining weight? Anyways my goal this round is to complete this round.
@biche896 You may have the same reaction to certain foods that I have. I can eat, just under maintenance, whole foods with minimal sugar and lose body fat. Conversely, I can eat junk food (especially sugar) at a serious deficit and gain water weight. For me, food quality is definitely important.5 -
Definitely in again. This helps so much with keeping attentive to both long and short term goals, seeing what is actually working and what’s sabotaging my efforts.
4th Round for me: Female 65, height – 5’
Round 39 (1st for me) – SW 163, EW 162.8
Round 40 – on holidays
Round 41 – SW 164.4, EW 162.4
Round 42 - SW: 162.6, EW 162,
Round 43 – SW 162, GW under 161,
Ultimate Goal Weight – 128
Day/Weight/Comment
6/07, Thursday – 161.6 Yay! Finally made it to the 161’s although I realize to get to my goal for this round will take consistency every day.
6/08, Friday – 162 Potluck tonight so will have to resolve to be careful especially after I get home and not fall into the “I have no clue how to chart what I ate so let’s just take a night off mode.”
6/09, Saturday – 162.2 Not awful but could have done better last night. Inspired by Ellie7187 “Will just have a good week to make up for it.” Getting discouraged definitely doesn’t help.

Happy day friends! If you had a worrisome weigh-in the last few days, remember that our weight is only information, not a punishment/reward system. It's just one kind of feedback on our progress. Little daily jogs up and down are expected, weight loss is not linear. Yeah it's nice to get "likes" here on a drop, but what matters is:
- how am I doing on meeting my goals? logging every bite, staying within my calorie goal, enjoying food without blindly overindulging, getting the planned workouts or steps - or whatever my goals are?
- what is my 10-day or weekly rolling average, or my trending app, telling me?
- If I'm doing well on #1, the results in #2 WILL follow.
- If the results don't follow - with 3-6 weeks to judge by - THEN it's time to re-evaluate either my goals or my execution. Tighten the logging, pay better attention to calorie burn estimates, etc. Because none of us is that unicorn that gains in a deficit
We don't withhold praise from our kids until their team wins a game. We praise them for showing up for every practice, working hard, coming home beat, rehydrating, eating a healthy breakfast...
This challenge and the people I've come to know here have helped me learn to give myself praise and credit for the EFFORT and know that the RESULTS will follow. That was the key to my recent weight loss and now it's the key to maintenance.11 -

6/07 - 156.6 - hello my friend
6/08 - 156.6 - Nice to see this number again. Had high amount of sodium yesterday so might see an increase the next day or two but tried to drink lots of water too. Busy weekend starting today with some kind of food get together each day so will need to have lots of will power and really pay attention to what I eat so I don't gain.

Day/Weight/Comment
6/07 168.00
6/08 166.8 Had a tough PM last night and overindulged in carbs, surprising that it didn't show up on the scale but I am grateful. I will get some exercise today for sure and hopefully get rid of the bloat!
6/09 166.6 I succumbed again last night to sweets after dinner, going over my calorie budget again. My husband is out of town and I feel like this is my "excuse" or the cause of my lack of motivation in the evening. I am surprised yet again that it didn't show up on the scale, but I will not push my luck for a third day in a row. I started the day both days really great, its just the 8 pm and later that has me struggling. Or not really struggling, just kind of saying what the heck, and going for it. Today is a new day. I can't change the past only move forward.

June
7: 201... Had company from out of state last night and ate a late supper with a bit of wine. It was a nice evening with friends. Taking the kids on a family day trip today, and will just enjoy whatever meals are available as I'm not sure where we'll end up eating. Spontaneous quality family time day to just enjoy each other and life! I may or may not log, but I imagine the scale will go up tomorrow. This kind of feels like my "weekend."
8: 203.1... Not so very long ago, I would've been ashamed to post this kind of weight jump. Today, I'm not. I enjoyed a "day off" and am easily observing the aftermath without judgement. Yesterday, I didn't follow my usual IF hours and found myself much hungrier than is normal for me these days. The hunger is likely also correlated to my approaching TOM. I made some healthy choices yesterday and some not so healthy ones. The scale reflects that. This morning, I also experienced increased hunger, but I stuck to IF. Ate some things I normally wouldn't due to traveling. I'm significantly over my calories, even with a 90-minute walk. But all is well. I'm happy with where I'm at on this journey and eagerly looking forward to where I want to be. I spend time acknowledging how far I've come and how much easier the process is for me when I lighten up and don't judge or shame myself. I'm not stressing about needing to see a certain number. I just know that I'll get there. I love and accept my body the way it is for all that it has gotten me through. This abdomen has carried three beautiful children. These hips widened to allow their passage into the world. These thighs are strong and have walked me through military training, a combat deployment, many personal challenges, and thousands of miles of personal reflection and renewal. I look in the mirror and like what I see, and I see my body changing to reflect my positive thoughts surrounding it. It's a beautiful life and I beautiful day. I hope you all are enjoying yours! ❤️
9: 204... Attack of the late night munchies. Stayed in bed until noon today. Pre-TOM symptoms are full force!

This brought me to tears. Thank you for allowing us in, to witness such a vulnerable and honest moment. You capture here everything we all hope to achieve, and so much more. I'm proud of you, excited for you, and feeling a lot of love for you right now.
Thank you @jilliancreates
Thank you! I remember reading other people's posts about positive body image and wishing that it would come easily for me. After decades of society telling us that what we look like indicates our value as a human being, it seems a daunting task to reverse those thoughts that have been engrained since childhood. All I could think to do was to find even one part of my body that I could appreciate and use every way and opportunity to practice it. It's amazing to me how appreciation grows exponentially when we allow and encourage positive thoughts without contradicting them with all the "reasons" why we don't deserve to be happy about our bodies.

6/09 196.1 I ate pasta yesterday so I think it's heavy thus the upward fluctuation. Will eat lighter tonight maybe a yummy salad and planning on working out for sure. Will write down how it goes tomorrow. Definitely will succeed tonight. Need to take it one day at a time and multiple successful days will lead to ultimate success.

•6/7 -196.6 - Oh yeah. My tag-a-long friend.
•6/8 - 196.2 - My actual weight and this water retention is so funny to me. I guess I will see 195.6 again or less by the end of the 10 days. That seems to be the trend.
•6/9 - I weighed in at 198 very early this morning. No opportunity to weigh at my usual time. The increase was surely due to the fact that I took 20ozs of water filled with electrolytes to bed with me. I needed it. It was a hot day yesterday. Ran errands until late afternoon and cooked all evening. My granddaughter, 4, and grandson, 18 mos, were with me today. Five hours of coloring, painting, sticker activities, reading, music and nursery rhyme videos, climbing on me and lap sitting. I'm tired now. I had to rely on my peanut butter as my mid-day meal. I NEVER get to eat an actual meal when they are visiting. I'm feeding them all day though. My water intake is on the low side too. Why? I give those little rascals water, but they drink mine. Smh. I guess mine tastes better to them. Can't wait for the next visit.

6/07 - 167.5 - I'm down today, but we celebrated a birthday last night and I went over my weight loss calories. I'm expecting a little bump up tomorrow, but this is a nice way to start.
6/08 - 166.5 - I got on the scale 3 times to be sure. I doubt this sticks, but it's so nice to see that number!
6/09 - 167.5 - I had a feeling this was where it was going to be today. I've also just celebrated my husband's birthday with cake and margarita's, so tomorrow probably won't be much better, but I'll be back on track after tomorrow.

6/08- busy a lot of shopping today. Went out for dinner, not the best choices, but it was a good dinner. On track tomorrow.6 -
My first Round!
SW 229.6 on 4/9/18
Goals: Lose 2-3 pounds, keep up with daily exercise!
Day/Weight/Comment
6/07 213.4 exercised for 32 minutes last night! Now the struggle is not drinking the monster I bought, thinking it was the no calorie no sugar version that I love.
6/08 212.8 Did a lot of walking, not so much actual exercise but its better than nothing. Avoided the monster, but had soo many donuts!
6/09 213.8 I massively overate. At least I exercised right?

Hi. I am Donna. I am on the low carb keto diet because I need to lose weight but also quickly lower my blood glucose levels since I am Type 2 diabetic and my glucose numbers got to a very dangerous level. So far it is working. My weight loss goals are also being met although I have found when it comes to weight loss, all true diets will work if you stick with it consistantly and try to get in some physical fitness as well. This is my first 10 day challenge. Good luck to us all (no matter which type of diet or physically activity you have chosen). We can do this folks!
6/07 193.8 lbs. I Had a doctor appointment today and found out my blood levels are all perfect including my cholesterol so I am thrilled. Dr. supports my keto diet and gave me some more tips. Stuck to my diet very good today although I still battle occasional cravings.
6/08 195.1 lbs. Darn that BBQ I attended anyway. I SHOULD NOT have had dessert either. Tomorrow will be better. I'm human and sometimes fail. But I always jump back on the horse and ride again, so I vow to be faithful tomorrow....
6/09 194.6 Going in the right directions finally. I have walked 1.5 - 3.0 miles each day including today. I have been steadfast to the diet today. I am proud of myself today.
