Thank you for this! I've been on here two weeks now and things are starting to sink in and make sense. I tried to read this the first couple days I was here and couldn't wrap my brain around it, but now I can. Thanks.

Ihave been reading over the question and answers on this topic and thank you for posting all the information in easy to understand dialogue. I just have a couple of questions:
I do kickboxing 3x/wk and weight lifting 2x/wk for 45 minutes...how do I know the calories on MFP are accurate? Is there another link to find a different calorie count?
I am not hungry enought and do not know what to eat to eat back my exercise calories that are given to me when I do the kickboxing, I have a daily goal of 1390 then add on kick boxing, it is like 1900 calories in a day. having said that I am gaining weight. Any suggestions?
Now that I am retired from a sedentary job, I am more active around the house doing cleaning outside jobs etc. I changed my activity level to lighty active. Is that correct? could you any help you can provide.
