Hi I’m 36 in two days, hoping to make some online fitness support buddies, motivating each other2

Hey people! Started back up again yesterday, so I'm on my way! I'm 47, in Colorado, and ready for the weekend.3
-
Hello Everyone- I am looking for friends to help support one another with fitness and weight loss goals. I like sharing workouts, new finds, meals and meal prep and enjoy interacting in general with my friends. Please add me if you you like to offer the same2

Hi! I’m Dawn. Some of you may remember me from awhile back. I’m back to try again. I’m 43 and a mom of 3 boys. Recently miscarried my 4th. Very frustrated about the weight I’ve gained. Doing my best to get back to where I want to be and stay healthy. I’m not one to spend hours in a gym everyday and I am not interested in following whatever the current diet fads are, so you won’t see me pushing any of that or posting daily gym selfies. I AM interested in staying active, happy, and eating foods that will fuel my body and keep my hormones in check. I like making new friends, so feel free to add me if you’d like.5

Bless your heart, @Outnumbered222 !!! Lots of love to you. Miscarriages can be difficult.
You are a warrior with three boys! I have two (10 and 5) and they wear me plum out.
I'm with you, no fad diets. Trying to stay active. Definitely want to ditch my excess fat in hopes of it helping with the hormonal life changes.3 -

I'm a fad dieter... more like I seem to start often and also stop often I have been able to maintain at least but I still have a good 20 lbs at least to go... I just need to get over this hump2 -
Haha! @steph81881 I look at the stop and start kind of like a smoker trying to quit smoking. As long as we keep starting, we stand a good chance of reaching our goals!
I'm not into keto or Adkins or the pink drink et al.1 -

Anyone have any fun weekend plans? I'm headed to a show with my mother in law tonight. She gave me explicit instructions on what lanes to drive in on the highway. I might be a rebel and just pick whatever one is going fastest!
Sounds like fun! Im headed to watch my grandsons ball tournament tomorrow then kayaking on sunday. Ninja hugs to you all!

Complete smorgasbord of bad foods yesterday. At least I didn't drink, so the only hangover I'm feeling is from the excess calories. Woke up with a craving for watermelon and blueberries and cantaloupe.3

Sounds like you'll get your recommended daily quota of fruit anyway!!2 -
This morning I Hit my goal for my weight cut! I need to maintain for 6 days until I take off 2.5lbs of water. Then one week from today I climb into the cage for the first (and probably only) time. 😳8

What did I miss?!? Cage? MMA?2 -
so excited to have nothing planned for today and then we could not get the garage door to open this am - had to Uber my daughter to practice. Thankfully we at least got it open to get the cars out. Welcome to the weekend!1

Good job on hitting your goal!1 -
Found this old pic from when I lost weight and got rid of my big clothes. (these weren’t even my biggest pants!)
I went from a women’s US size 18-going-on-20 to a size 10! I love shopping for clothes now!

Middle age?! I'm 40, living in Germany, Keto-ing my way through. I've lost 12.5 kg since 28.04.2018, 5.5 to go. Been lurking for ages, have felt really motivated by you all:)3

On and off (mostly off) again MFP user. Woke up on Father's Day, made some coffee, and ran across some pictures of myself from a decade ago. Man, WTF happened. I was 187 then and in great shape. Decided to fix it. Recharged my Fitbit, dusted off my old running shoes. Woke up Monday went for a 2.5 mile walk, which I've increased to 3 miles since. That has really helped my mood as work/fam life has been stressful.
Feeling good now, I've made it logging 6 days. Weight a month or so ago was 94.8kg (209ish), this morning 91kg (200+). Logging everything, trying to make good decisions. Went out to lunch with my daughter today, was tempted to get a burger and a beer. Instead I opted for the burger salad and a glass of malbec. Filled me up and I walked away feeling good.
If anyone wants a MFP pal just hit me up, looking to add some motivators.6 -

Thanks! As long as I don't embarrass my Coach or gym and avoid a trip to the hospital I will consider it a victory whether or not I win or lose.
