What did I miss?!? Cage? MMA?
He took up being a go-go cage dancer!
A week from now I maybè wishing I was dancing at the Blue Oyster. 43 years old and making my MMA debut...what was I thinking?
Good for you. Congratulations!!0 -

Wishing you loads of luck.
Thanks! As long as I don't embarrass my Coach or gym and avoid a trip to the hospital I will consider it a victory whether or not I win or lose.
Well I hope your purdy face and teeth remain intact1 -

My goodness so many posts.
Yesterday I was so busy. Lunch with my mom, getting some errands done then had to head to this show with my mother in law. I managed to navigate the highways all on my own. Imagine that.
Today we went to brunch, then the boardgame cafe, then I did errands and laundry. My best mfp buddy comes to visit in 3 days!!!! Monday will be spent prepping that since tomorrow in taking my mom shopping. So busy0 -

As a mom of boys very active in martial arts, any match that doesn’t involve a trip to the hospital or a paramedic in the ring is a victory worth celebrating! You’ve got this!! 🎉🎉🎉👍🏻👍🏻😊3 -

I’ll second that! I have 3 boys (2 are adults now) but played a variety of sports & one martial arts. If you’re not in the ER with a concussion or serious injury, I’d call that a win. Best of luck, you’ve got this!! 💪🏼😊

Happy Sunday from sunny (currently) NJ. Went outlet shopping yesterday and discovered I have downshifted to a size 6! Took an off day from the gym yesterday too and ate my “treat” meal. Still fit in the 6’s today lol which has totally highgeared my motivation. Headed to the gym shortly. Carpe Diem!2

Yay for size 6!!!! Well done.
I need to get on the fitness bandwagon again. Ihvw slipped a bit. I find it so much easier staying fit in the winter.

New here! Not to mfp, been trying for a while. Trying is the key word - not much success due to flagging commitment at night could use support!0

Staring this weight loss thing again, I need friends to help me be accountable. Please add me!2

Hey there. Im 40, female and lost 1 measley pound the first week. All that work, going to bed hungry, drinking apple cider vinegar (ew) and just 1 pound. Yikes. Gonna seriously need this support group. What a difficult but crazy journey.2

Are you exercising? Pretty sure the apple cider vinegar is a myth, in fact a Dr told me so. It's hard work. But worh the effort you'll see results soon1 -

Sounds like good work to me and in a "safe" way (1-1.5lbs a week). Kudos to you! Keep it it up!

Aww it's tough when you don't get the loss you expect, just keep at it.. those 1lbs will add up.2 -
52 years old here. Just starting out & trying to take control. Looking for motivation from people around the same age. This will be a difficult journey, but I would like for it to be fun also, so silliness is just fine with me. If you are similar, please add me.1

My friend comes to visit tomorrow, I woke up with a sore shin/knee so I'm taking that as a sign not to run and to just get my errands and tidying done. Happy Monday to all the middle agers1
