We took the kids to the park for the first time in about 2 months the other night. Previous to my journey, I would tire easily from our games of "tag" and took a lot of "breaks." However - the other night, I WHOOPED them in tag, chased them around the park, and had them stopping to catch their breath!! They kept saying, "wow, Mom! I guess you have been exercising!" All from losing 20lbs and exercising regularly28

I didn't drink last night!41

Well done mate, harder than non-drinkers would think. Big step for health.

I fell off the wagon for a month recently but coming back to this thread has helped me pick right back up where I left off. THANK YOU to everyone who has shared their NSVs. Hopefully my thoughts inspire someone else like yours have me.
There is no item of clothing in my wardrobe that is too small for me, so I bought a pair of dress pants in the next size down today to use as a bit of motivation. I knew what size it was going to be before I went in there, but holy guacamole. I bought an size 8AU. That is my freaking goal size! And to top it off, I got the pants on and done up no worries - they’re just way too tight to look any good right now.
Closer to maintenance than I realised...33 -
My weight starts with a 1 again63

That is always good.1

I progressed to a lighter hoop, meaning the hoop will spin faster, which means I now work harder!14

Resolved to walk 30 minutes in the morning and actually did it! It helps to pretend I have a dog that needs the exercise. So I’ve logged it as “walking pretend dog-30 min.” Whatever works!32

I didn't have any Cherrific Cheesecake ice cream last night, even though it was there in my freezer calling me.28
-
I had a cup of tea last night while everyone else had root beer floats!18

I can now run for 5 km and keep the pace under 7 minutes per km. And I have my first 5K coming up in a week.
Plus I usually run with my dog, who is now a lean mean fast peeing running machine. He loves to run and is really happy if he sees me putting on the running shoes.25 -
I bench pressed a new PB22

I've been swimming nearly every day for a month and just ordered myself a suit in the next size down. I'm not quite there yet, but I feel quite positive that I will be soon. All my clothes are looser - such a great feeling!19

Congratulations on beating the big C. Best wishes for continued good health!7 -
Have woken up at 4:30 every morning except yesterday to fit in a walk with my dog and a ride on my horse this week. Yesterday I slept in until 5:20 then went for a walk. The reason I slept in yesterday was not that I just didn't feel like getting up, but because my horse needs one day a week off and I make that Thursdays, so I didn't need to be up quite so early. Also headed to bootcamp before firey training last night. The instructor has changed session times from next week to 4:30 which means I can make it to both Tuesday and Thursday sessions (usually don't do Thursday with fire training starting at 530 but there was no bootcamp Tuesday so organised with my captain to be late to training so I could bootcamp yesterday)16

My hips went down to an Aussie size 8, today! That’s my goal size. I look forward to my other areas of my body following suit.20

My birthday was earlier this week, so the other day I had a cheeseburger to celebrate. My daughter and I also made a pan of brownies. My NSVs related to this are many - I didn't have fries with the burger, the pan of brownies has lasted several days, and I still have not gone over my calories at all this week! :-)46

And pretend don’t stop and pee much, so you’re burning more calories than MFP thinks!

I planned my day knowing I wanted to eat cake for my birthday and ate a huge piece without going over my calories. Not the most balanced day but I don’t feel guilty nor did I miss out on anything:)25

I don't know if this is a victory or not. I have had some scary days recently where binge behavior kicked in. I managed to stop short of any major binges, logged what I ate and interspersed some days of low net calories (often a result of substantial exercise burn) and managed to stay in the middle of my maintenance range. The victory is that I managed to control it and then offset it, but it really worries me that I am getting those urges and giving in even if I have managed to not let them do damage yet.27

I seemed to have leveled off for the past two weeks (it happens)... but
I did punch new holes in my belt.

I packed up 5 mini Reese's Peanut butter cups in my lunch yesterday. (I had calorie room for them.)
NSV 1: I bought these the week after Easter half price and just opened the bag yesterday.
NSV 2: I gave 1 to a coworker instead of eating them all myself like I would normally do.
I usually have no control when it comes to chocolate.29
