ok guys you asked for it...Lets make August 2018 a great month. As children start back too school lets get motivated and try too MOVE A BIT MORE!!! THAT IS THE CHALLENGE..TOO MOVE!
Set your own pace, own goal, mode of exercise ok?
My personal goal will be a WALKING GOAL of 100 miles for the month of August...

Hi @jeanniewes I'm back for August. I've already planned to walk 80 miles again but this time it's just walking away from the house. So no house hold activity or gardening is involved, just walking trips.
The kids are on their 6 week summer holiday here so it will probably involve them for most of the walks.
I did walk 100miles of just walks/none household activity back 5 years ago but I was away from the house took much and the place was a trip 😂. I actually found I was it very addictive.

August is our last month of winter @ToadstoolBetty - but it’s been mild and warm this last week so hope it keeps like that! Good walking weather.1

@jeanniewes Thanks for setting this up again!
I'm in week 2 of 5-10k so my aim is to get end of week 5, which means 10 runs, but I really want to do 12 runs. I have 1 weekend with a visitor here and I'll be back home for 1 week and including 2 weekends, so have to be realistic about that - 10 runs is achievable and I'll also try and git the 60k again.
In terms of walking, I aim for 10k steps on a weekly average and 200k, did 175 in july.
Let's get this started and keep each other on track!1 -

Don't over do! I know it's difficult 'not' too carry on. We end up hurting ourselves when we do that. How well I Know!!!!1 -

I get too ADD a bit more exercise for AUGUST 4TH...……..We got no rain and plenty of sunshine. By late evening my grass was dry enough too use the Push Mower. I got in an extra 2.5 Walking Steps by using the Push mower...
