But he was joking and not in a hateful sexist way. You get to know some of the online personalities in this forum and youll be able to see it was a harmless joke. @Motorsheen doesnt come at females or anyone in that manner...in chit chat we are all silly, sarcastic, crazy, and sometimes over the top.4 -

I think he did mean it as a joke. I've seen his humor on display here enough to agree.
But, I also know that when I say it, I thought, "That's a bit harsh. Do you even know her?"
Probably I should have said something at the time, but at the same time, "It's just a message board."

If so, that is not at all how I read it. Inflection does matter a lot, but I still wouldn't say that to someone I don't know! It came across as quite mean.2

I think its very sad that we have to tip toe around each other simply to meet and say we are interested or lets have coffee and equally quite frightening to see the responses on here...wow. I started at the gyms w signs on the doors 'no women allowed" so...how things are these days is just fine w me. walk w respect and you will get it. regardless of your gender.2

And, as a side note, there are many different kinds of people in the world. Some people were made to love and care for animals. As such, they have a higher tolerance for the inconveniences of multiple animals and the judgement of people who don't have as high a tolerance. The world is better off because they exist.
