Let me correct you there, GENTLY FOLD in the protein. It just has to mix in not blend into the mix or your egg whites will deflate and the cake will not get the volume.

Thanks...you 'caught' me before I've attempted it too:))0 -

Well since I am giving advice hahaha ........
- dont line your pan with anything just grease it up
- dont mix in anything wet or heavy into the mix as it will not rise (better to add your trimmings after)
- dont be alarmed when your mix will deflate after cooling
Thanks again...as I was going to line with parchment

Not the most aesthetically pleasing but I was starving and it’s high volume.
Shirataki veggie stir fry with deli sliced chicken, egg whites, and laid on top of a huge pile of spinach.

Holy crap - nice protein/calorie! I had some amazon gift card money sitting around - just ordered an 8 pack to try.
@pinggolfer96 My order came. I think they are pretty tasty - I ate an entire package and found it to be pretty filling. I don't know if I would buy it again. Maybe if it was half the price or I was looking for something different to eat.
I did look to see what was involved in lupini bean preparation and it looks pretty cumbersome. All the recipes I have seen have you changing the water it is soaked in for 5-14 days to remove bitterness. A couple of recipes mentioned that improper preparation could lead to bitter poisonous beans.
Maybe it is more information than anyone would want - but I found this really interesting. How does one figure out how to properly prepare something like this!
"Lupin poisoning is a nervous syndrome caused by alkaloids in bitter lupins, similar to neurolathyrism. Lupin poisoning affects people who eat incorrectly prepared lupin beans. Mediterranean cultures prefer the historic bitter lupin beans with the required toxin-removal by traditional leaching in water preparation methods due to the better flavour that results. Improper preparation of bitter lupins with insufficient soaking allows pharmacologically significant amounts of the anticholinergic alkaloids to remain in the beans, and poisoning symptoms result." My camera is a potato. Sorry. But iv been making 400 calorie soups daily lately. 3 servings of spinach 3 servings broccoli (255g each) some mushrooms and fresh carlic with a little cayenne pepper mixed into a can of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup. Its bulky and i can have little bowls all day. Been helping alot to get them greens in Super garlicy its slowly changing my cravings for snacking to savory stuff like healthy soup Today im making it in my slow cooker im aware it wont be as good, Veggies will cook down to soggy nothingness...but its going to smell sooooo good xD

great! and if you add 1/4-1/2 tsp. Xanthum gum (to thicken it up) and freeze it a few hours, you'll end up with more ice cream-like product.2 -

Is there a version of the fluff which does not require ice?0
