Round 51
Start Weight 277
Goal Weight 274
Final Goal 190
8/26 - 276.5 lbs (-.05) lbs Good start again. Had some fajita chicken smothered in garlic butter sauce last night and thought I would hold or gain water. Nice to see neither happened.
8/27 - 276.5 lbs (No Change) Not unexpected after so many days of good losses. Staying under calorie and carb limits. Last round I was well under those limits. Easing up a bit this round but still expecting to reach my goal for round 51.
8/28 - 274.5lbs (-2.0) lbs Well that was a pleasant surprise. I was not expecting that much of a loss but I'll take it. Staying on a routine has been good for my weight loss program. I am leaving tomorrow for a week visit to family in Houston and thats going to make it hard to stay on my routine. I will do the best I can and since after tomorrow I can't weigh in each day till I get back on the fourth I will update how the routine is or is not going. Hang tough everyone. It's getting done!

Round 51 (#15)
I typically don't set goals because I find myself sabotaging them. Stupid, I know, but it's true. Challenge goal:Stop binge eating my trigger foods which are too numerous to list.#37: 142.6 - 137.4 = -5.2
#38: 137.4 - 136.8 = -0.6
#39: 136.8 - 136.2 = -0.6
#40: 136.2 - 135.0 = -1.2
#41: 135.0 - 133.6 = -1.4
#42: 133.6 - 134.2 = +0.6
#43: 134.2 - 133.4 = -0.8
#44: 133.4 - 132.4 = -1.0 Body fat 28.0% acceptable range
#45: 132.4 - 132.6 = +0.2
#46: 132.6 - 133.0 = +0.4
#47: 133.0 - 134.8 = +1.8
#48: 134.8 - 137.2 = +2.4
#49: 137.2 - 136.0 = -1.2
#50: 136.0 - 135.4 = -0.6
8/26: 135.4, late dinner
8/27: 135.4, another late dinner
8/28: 134.6, picnic date with beer, spicy pan fried coconut chicken breast cutlets (Paleo and Keto friendly), roasted gold potatoes, red bell pepper, shallots, rosemary, and a hot Hatch chili (low cal and lower fat), and a salad of spinach, figs, strawberries, tomatoes, and raw almonds tossed with a tart vinaigrette (Paleo and low cal).
I love to cook and find it very rewarding to create dishes that are tasty and fit into most eating plans. My date leans more towards Paleo which is fine with me. The roasted potato dish was 1/3 vegetables and helped round out the meal to prevent overeating.14 -

Happy to be in for another round! Thank you so much for keeping these up and going, its the best challenge on MFP
8/28 - 257.2...I really need to get my head back into this and re-find my motivation. Went for a walk yesterday but had take out for lunch and supper so I was still way over on calories. And I haven't been drinking nearly enough water..I keep choosing diet pop instead

@kittiesandfarts I never eat back my calories burned for exactly that reason. My daily calorie goal is 200 below maintenance. It's very doable for me, but only if I follow it. Lol5 -

3. No Bingeing
4. 20-25 Net Carbs Daily. 1277 Calories Daily.
5. 10,000 steps per day. Mixed modes of exercise.
6. Lots of water, green tea daily, apple cider vinegar before carby meals.
7. Check my blood sugar daily for improvements.

8/26 – 179.0 YESTERDAY’S STATS: 21 Net Carbs. 1269 Calories In / 2197 Calories Out. 7,235 total steps. 3.06 total miles. 11/13 (250) fitbit steps.
8/27 - 178.4 YESTERDAY’S STATS: 15 Net Carbs. 907 Calories In / 2923 Calories Out. 13,420 total steps. 5.68 total miles. 13/13 (250) fitbit step hours. Intermittent fasted 16:8. Trying to keep a solid foot in the 170’s so I can be confident in reporting the weight into MFP.
8/28 - 177.4 YESTERDAY’S STATS: 13 Net Carbs. 1254 Calories In / 2594 Calories Out. 11,050 total steps. 4.67 total miles. 13/13 (250) fitbit step hours. Intermittent fasted 16:8. I had peanut butter for the 1st time since starting this keto/low carb journey in January. Delish!!!! To stay within my macros, I put it on 90 second keto bread I cut into 3 portions. I kept all my other meals low carb to accommodate. It was pure heaven! The Car show is tonight for the Grand Championship Overall Winner for the summer. I will try to keep my eating reasonable. I’m taking my son and his friend. This single widowed mother has got to fit some “guy” things in for my son. I loved it last time I took him too. This one is the best because all the previous winners come together to find the Champion of Champions. I am going to focus more on fun than food. My son gets way too much screen time (video games) so this will get him out and about too.

@Vanguard1, Have you been eating enough the past few days? I would love to do OMAD, but I have a problem eating enough food in that one meal. The two times I planned OMAD, I did not drop any weight. I have also had three or four days of OMAD unplanned in the past 6 months and I successfully lost weight. I was so hungry that I managed to eat enough food.3

8/26, Sunday – 160.8 Last night was at our friends’ fiftieth wedding anniversary do – all 5 hrs of it. Fun but long and even though I was careful on the food, lots of extra salt and sugar. Hope this is mostly water weight but haven’t been all that careful this week so it may be payback.
8/27, Monday – 159.2 Maybe I can make it under 159 this time.
8/28, Tuesday – 159.2 Determined to sew myself a pair of pants today so I have something nice that really fits and in a color I like. I've sewn in the past but never pants for myself - I know there will be fitting to do but if I can successfully navigate that, it's a relatively easy sew.

Got rid of clothes that are too big for me except some I love & *might* alter.
Went through more of my “thin clothes” & they all fit. Glad I didn’t give up on them. They made it easier to get rid of the things that are too big because they make that very clear. I will wear these until I decide on my final end weight. Then I might get some new items to wear with the others. Closet is *almost* to the point where everything in it is something I love & can wear now, as opposed to when I was heavy (pre-Marie Kondo) when it would take me forever to go through the closet to find one thing that did fit that I could wear. Never. Going. Back.

I’m doing all I should be. This is the nature of the beast. I’m sure it will bounce back down. I could list about 5 possible reasons ... but why bother

@tiabirdie56 - Congratulations on the loose clothes! That's so inspiring that you've gone down in size in just two weeks. (So, what's the word to use for this? If a person "out grows" clothes that are too small, would we "out shrink" clothes that are now too big? )
@MadisonMolly2017 - Congratulations to you too on the closet improvements and having a closet full of clothes that fit that you love. I dream of that day! I love watching your progress and the stats that you track.
@braewe - Oh yes - The power of perfectly baked cookies. So, so hard not to eat them all. You did great only having two and skipping the frosting.
@mthomas0228 - Thanks for the reminder to take measurements. I haven't taken measurements in years and will do it tonight.6
