@MadisonMolly2017, Congrats on your new low weight!
@AJB1014, {{{hugs}}} You've come too far to talk like this. The stress of your move, the physical exertion, first the joy and then the thought of I own a house now, on the job stress, etc., etc. etc. It's a lot. If you are hungry, eat well, up to your maintenance calories, limit bread carbs. You may only need to increase food intake for a few days. Limiting calories is a physical stressor also and will work against you at times like these. I'm going through my own stress right now. Just reading about someone else's stress, stresses me out or makes it worse. Some days I just give in to higher calories, as long as I'm eating well. I feel much better for doing it. Pretty soon things will settle down and so will you and I. Nuts, nut butters and plenty of vegetables help me to cope. Walking too, without distractions, just being in the moment.
Here is a link to some stress managing foods:

Tish, you're an angel! I needed to hear this. Some great info here to use. Funny, this morning I basically had this same chat with myself - I HAVE come so far and I am proud! So why get burnt out now when I can just take a little reset. It's self care, not giving in! I love the stress managing foods resource. I've been going right for the guacamole the past few days! I used to have a small serving of granola before bed - it did actually help me sleep so thanks for the reminder!8 -

@OncologyChick Enjoy your holiday! See you next month!
@tinkerbellang83 Love the infographic!
@fraukazi WOW! What a weekend you are going to have! Enjoy dancing at the wedding! Don’t stress over the proposal. You’ve got this!
@SheilaBoneham Wow, the elimination diet is much harder than keto, in my opinion. Corn and soy by products are hidden in every ingredient list, it seems. Clean eating for sure!
@denswrex POPCORN (with lots of butter!) Yum!! Haven’t had any in sooo long! What Hell hath comfort foods wrought? LOL
@jerier I get it 100%! My husband was diagnosed with MCS/EI back in 1992 when people didn’t believe in it because there wasn’t a specific test to prove it. He eventually got a medical disability after seeing over a dozen doctors in a year. The last one was a psychiatrist who said it was all in his head. He had to visit him annually for 10 years! He still has issues - horrible headaches, shaking hands and stuttering when it gets really bad. We avoid all fragrances when we can but some things affect him that we can’t smell. It’s tough. Prayers to you!2 -

9/05 - Wednesday - 183.0 - Set my goal weight a litte lower than my usual - but I've been hovering here for a while so I feel a whoosh coming my way! Well, this morning was actually a whoosh - this puts me at 29.6 lbs lost! And so close to my short term goal #2! And so close to overweight BMI from obese BMI! I still didnt find my scale last night!!!! It's been a kind of rough morning so far. Exhaustion both mentally and physically is catching up to me. Need to do some self care over the next few days.
9/06 - Thursday - 183.5 - Busy night last night. Worked on the in-law, cleaned drained and refilled hot tub, cooked dinner and slept over there because it was too hot. But I stayed up too late watching movies cause it was like being on vacation. Ooops. Another busy day today - work is stressing me out. Trying to stay mindful and centered despite it all.
9/07 - Friday - 182.5 - WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?! Short term goal #2 HELLO!!! On my way to overwight BMI all the way from obese class 2!!! And it's Friday. I'm going to revel in today's positives and push the negative to the side!!!
9/08 - Saturday - 182.5 - I was in such a mood last night. Let myself get too hungry and it was all downhill fro there. Rallied for friends dinner and the night turned out okay. Moved last things today, final wlak thru at apartment tomorrow. I need a nap. But planning to go to the fair tonight and i might not log...nah I'll log it and move on! Excited to do something fun after all this hard work!
9/09 - Sunday - 183.0 - I logged fair food as best I could. I also didnt go totally nuts eating wise so that was a win. Definitely enjoyed myself though. Went to dog festival today and ate some vegan spring rolls and then a huge sandwich on the way home. So worth it. Cooked dinner at home, pizza grilled cheese and tomato soup. Almost ordered out - gosh it snowballs so fast when I eat comfort foods I just want more! Glad I found something comfort foodish with food I had in the house cause the calories werent bothering me by the end of the weekend the cash was!
9/10 - Monday - 184.0 - Really not so bad considering! Have not drank enough water today and have a salty meal planned for dinner - but it is what it is and I'm feeling good. I REALLY need to start drinking my protein shake at some point in the day again and get better with taking my meds and start taking fish oil again. Those little habits make a big difference!
9/11 - Tuesday - 184.5 - Not surprising - not letting it get me down! Drank protein shake for breakfast and took my fish oil! Doing my best to drink lots of water today. Feeling positive that the upward trend stops today and I'm back on track! Pre logging dinner to see where I'm at for the day.
9/12 - Wednesday - 183.0 - Yay! Yesterday was the suck. Everything I touched turned to crap. Work was brutal. Got home and the washing machine started acting up. Ate dinner, tried to relax, ended up eating an entire chocolate bar. Figured I'd call the appliance repair place today, they are closed. BUT that crappy day did make me very grateful for all that I have and the people I have to lean on. And it was a good reminder that no matter what happens today, tomorrow is a new day to kick butt!
9/13 - Thursday 183.5 - Now to have it stick around til tomorrow. Questionable. It's been another hellish day. I ate wendys yesterday after I finsished my lunch because I was still hungry. Still around maintenance for the day - but I've been really hungry the past few days so trying to keep it somewhat under control while still listening to my body. Have not drank enough water so still working on that. Meh, this round is the first one since I've started that I've felt my commitment wavering a bit. Well, maybe not even commitment just motivation. And my usual back up plans have not been established in my new routine. So I'm feeling glum about everything. This too shall pass.
9/14 - Friday - 183.5 - 2 Lbs this round! Met my goal! Planning on taking a little self care reset break and eating around maintenance for a few days. Negative thoughts have been creeping in lately, so really focusing on changing my inner dialogue to a more positive tone. I have achieved great things and will continue to do so!8 -
quiltingjaine wrote: »@iamworthy14 and @heymossy Your gain is more likely related to what you ate 2-3 days prior.
@AJB1014 I think you know the solution but don’t realize it. You were still hungry so you ate more but DIDN’T GET ENOUGH WATER. Next time drink a glass of water. We often THINK we are hungry when we are only thirsty. Drink, drink, drink!
@MadisonMolly2017 Dehydration also can cause headaches. Are you getting enough water?
Ah yes, you're so right that I knew it but didnt realize - I think I subconsciously squashed that notion because I wanted chicken tenders! I need to get some more of the water enhancer so I'll drink water even when I dont too!!1 -

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.

9/9 134.0 Panda Express
9/10 135.0 Panda Express leftovers. I’m sure this will drop once all systems are GO!

9/12 133.5 Felt really crummy yesterday. Missed DGD’s first volleyball game of the season. Sucked on zinc drops all day, scratchy throat, runny nose. No appetite. Finally asked DH to go to Jimmy John’s. #9 Unwich for me, #9 and Jimmy Chips for him. I ate 2 small chips and threw the 3rd one back. They just didn’t taste good. It’s amazing how your tastebuds change after avoiding all the crap for over a year! Sneezy and runny nose still today. UGH!
9/13 132.5
9/14 131.5 Last near this on 5/4/2010 when I was 131.8 at WW so probably 130 at home, naked - the way I weigh every morning. Can’t wait to see what happens next round since I have revised my macros.6 -
@quiltingjaine, Congrats on the new low weight! Thanks for the hug. I decided to not drink 20 ozs of water before bed and be in the bathroom all night long. That didn't work. Lol. I drank 20 ozs with electrolytes right after posting this morning. Headache went away, as I knew it would.3

R52: SW=194.7, GW= 192.5
R51: -1.3 lbs
SW=196 lbs (BMI < 34.7)
MGW=169 lbs (BMI < 30) by January 2019
UGW=140 lbs (BMI < 25) by June 2019
Daily goals: stay under calories, 80 oz water, no eating past 6:30
Exercise goals: gym twice/ week
9/5 Wednesday, 194.7. -0.4 from yesterday and -1.3 from R51. I will take it after poor choices made over a 4-day weekend to the beach. Yesterday was great. I stayed under my calorie budget and did not eat anything after 6:30. Today's goal is to stay under budget and 30 minutes of cardio at the gym.
9/6 Thursday, 193.5 (-1.2). I think it is mostly water since I drank a lot yesterday and I was really shedding it all day and night. I felt terrible last night and did not work out but I did stay way under calories. Plan is to go tonight while daughter is in ballet. Even if I just walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes, it will be something.
9/7 Friday, 192.5 (-1) Now if I can just keep this up through the weekend. Wins from yesterday-- 30 minutes on the elliptical and passed up brownies that looking diet busting worthy! I am volunteering for 5 hours tomorrow morning/ afternoon to help cast my daughter's school play. So, my plan is to eat a healthy breakfast and to pack some healthy snacks since I know there will be junk food around.
9/8 Saturday, 192.4 (-0.1) I’ll take it. Went out for ice cream with the kids last night and indulged in a small cup. Today was a long day but I stuck to my plan and burned a bunch of calories shampooing carpet in 4 rooms. Hope to hold this weight through the weekend.
9/9 Sunday, 192.8 (+0.4) Up a little but it’s the weekend and I’m still under 193. Practiced some self care today with a 90 minute massage. DH took care of dinner since mom was off today. That means dinner out. Stayed under budget for the day but feel like there was a lot of sodium and expect to be up tomorrow.
9/10 Monday, 192.4 (-.3) Back in the right direction. Need to readjust my goal for this round. I am going to go with a realistic goal of 191.9. That is only half a pound in 5 days and will get me to the 191.x mark which I haven;t seen in a while. Need to push the fluids today to get rid of this bloated feeling.
9/11 Tuesday, 192.4 No loss, no gain and I am OK with that. I will just keep working the plan.
9/12 Wednesday, 191.6 (-0.8) I was a little surprised by this number. I have been trying for so long to get back on track and have not been able to get things going. This daily accountability is exactly what I needed. Thank you all for being here ... you are all such good listeners
9/13 Thursday, 191.7 (+0.1) I am ok with this. Feeling run down and over extended
9/14 Friday. 192.0 (+0.3) I totally blew it yesterday and knew what I was doing. Finished the 10 days below my original goal and even saw the 191 range for a couple of days. Hopefully will see the 189.x mark next round.10 -
In for my 9th Round!
Round 44 End Weight = 165.8 (5.2 lbs lost)
Round 45 End Weight = 164.9 (0.9 lbs lost)
Round 46 End Weight = 159.6 (5.2 lbs lost)
Round 47 End Weight = 157.2 (2.4 lbs lost)
Round 48 End Weight = 155.2 (2.0 lbs lost)
Round 49 End Weight = 151.2 (4.0 lbs lost)
Round 50 End Weight = 149.9 (1.3 lbs lost)
Round 51 End Weight = 146.2 (3.7 lbs lost)
Stats = 5'4 female, age 48
Highest Weight = 172 lbs (June 18, 2018)
Initial Goal Weight = 139 lbs (last weighed this is 2013)
Ultimate Goal Weight = 129 lbs (last weighed this in 2011)
Round 52 Goal: Reach the "normal" BMI weight range, 144.9 or under
Exercise Plan = The Betty Rocker 90 Day Challenge (in weeks 7-8 of 12), run outside 3-4 times a week, get 8,000-10,000 steps/day
Nutrition Plan = Continue to limit gluten, dairy, sugar, diet soda, alcohol & eat non-processed foods, protein/fruit/veg at every meal, complex carbs at breakfast and post workout meal, drink plenty of water.
9/05 = 146.2 (no change from yesterday) Yesterday was a rest day in my 90 day challenge, much needed too! Today will be day 45 exercises and I had thought to get a short run in but my legs are giving me all the NOPES! So will have to wait another day for that. Only 2 more days left for this forecast-ed horrible heat wave, bring on Fall, I want the cooler weather It makes exercising so much easier and I love running in cool temps. I'm excited for this new round, welcome to the newbies and welcome back to everyone else...."Every day is a new chance to change your life."
9/06 = 145.9 (down .3 from yesterday) Super busy day yesterday and didn't get my workout in until after 8 pm. I had hoped it would've been cooler by then but I was still a super sweaty mess after. This one was a hard workout, but felt so accomplished after completing it. Today is day 46 of 90 (halfway completed!) and is yoga which I love. This morning I noticed that I am feeling lighter in spirits as well as lighter in weight, being overweight had really affected my moods. I'm so happy to be feeling happy again
9/07 - 146.6 (up .5 from yesterday) Annoying, but not discouraging. Just normal, weird scale fluctuations, I'm used to these by now, but I would like to see it going in the other direction Patience. I'll wait for the scale to catch up and continue on kicking *kitten* with my workouts and making healthy choices with my eating. I also track with a weigh trending site and it had my trending weight yesterday a 149.03 and today 148.79, so even when the scale fluctuated up today, my trend is that I am still losing weight. "It does not matter how slow you go as long as you do not stop."
9/08 = 146.6 (no change from yesterday) Super late weigh-in today, great sleep in and there is a chill in the air this morning, such a nice change! I swapped my workout days and took yesterday as a rest day, so I've got a good challenging workout scheduled for today instead. I've been really low on my water intake the last couple of days, which is not normal for me, so need to focus better on that today as well. I'm still hoping even with the scale fluctuations this week, to make my goal of being in the "normal" BMI range within the next few days. I need to drop 1.7 pounds this round to accomplish this, totally do-able! Have a great weekend, everyone!
9/ 09 = 146.2 (down .4 from yesterday) So, the scale has settled back to the number I started this round on. Now hopefully it will start dropping again! I completed day 48 of 90 exercises yesterday and will do day 49 today which will complete week 7. Excited to start week 8 on Monday, I want to get through this!!! 90 days is hard, I will be sticking to 30 day plans from now on I went clothes shopping yesterday to a store I shopped for summer clothes in back in June before I started losing weight. I was a size 10 on bottoms and a size large for tops then and yesterday I was a size 6 for bottoms and a size small for tops. Super happy with this progress! I only bought a couple of things though because I still have a bit more weight to lose and these won't fit for too long hopefully. I also scored a dress, at a discount store, for my 15th wedding anniversary in October, it's a gorgeous Michael Kors black dress, original price $110, marked down to $29 - Bananas! Love it when that happens
9/10 = 145.7 (down .5 from yesterday) Nice downward movement on the scale this morning! Lots of running around doing errands yesterday, but got my day 49 workout in, definitely felt stronger on some of the moves than when I did it earlier in the week (each week there are 2 new workouts that get done twice each that week + a yoga workout, and 2 rest days). I put a batch of chili in the slow cooker in the morning and was glad I did that because errands ran late and I was starving - the urge to say let's just eat out (i.e. something quick and junky) was strong but knowing I had something healthy and delicious ready as soon as we got home, helped me stay on track and eat as planned. However tonight we are going out to a nice dinner, so I'm mostly fasting today and doing OMAD to stay on track with my calories. This usually works fine for me, although higher restaurant sodium may cause a slight blip up on the scale tomorrow. I'm encouraged that I now feel totally comfortable going out to dinner at this stage of my weight loss journey. I'm no longer in the place where I think one meal off plan will derail my progress. "What you do every day matters more than what you do once in a while."
9/11 = 145.1 (down .6 from yesterday) Very happy with this number after eating out last night! I had a green smoothie after my workout yesterday (I have a green smoothie everyday) and then fasted until dinner. My husband picked a Sushi/Ramen restaurant, so I was a little nervous about the sodium. But is was more an upscale/fusion restaurant than a take-away type of restaurant, so I think a little bit healthier. By the time dinner rolled around, I had already had 10 glasses of water, 2 more with dinner, so I think that helped. I ate what I wanted but just in smaller servings: pork belly bao, vegetable spring rolls, edamame in garlic butter, Korean bulgogi with rice, & a pear juice Margarita. A nice night. Today is day 51 of 90 which is a rest day in my exercise plan, but as long as the rain stays away or stays just a light drizzle I plan on getting in a short run.
9/12 = 145.5 (up .4 from yesterday) Shoot! was so close to getting to the normal BMI range and it goes back up, maybe delayed reaction from Monday's dinner. Oh, well, I'll get there soon enough. Yesterday was a rest day but I've got a tough day 52 of 90 workout scheduled for today and will try to up my water intake as well, only was at 8 glasses yesterday. Goal of 144.9 this round may not happen, but I'll try my hardest, it will be close! "A small detour doesn't mean you have to stop! It just means it may take a little longer to get there."
9/13 = 145.3 (down .2 from yesterday) This has been a really off round for me, but I had a big loss last round and I am still well ahead of the arbitrary weight loss goals I made when I started in June. While I do think weighing daily is important for me, I am less and less attached to the number emotionally. I'm not going to be upset by a specific number on the scale; it just doesn't have that power over me anymore. These days I am only really interested in how I feel during my workouts (am I getting stronger, where are areas that need improvements, how is my endurance) and with how my clothes are fitting. I tried on a pair of jeans last night that I haven't worn in at least 8-10 years and they fit! One more day left to this challenge, we'll see what it brings. If I don't hit my goal, it is just something to look forward to achieving in Round 53.
9/14 = 143.7 (down 1.6 from yesterday) Well, this puts me in the "normal" BMI range. Unfortunately, I got here by bad means. I started feeling sick last night and not to be TMI & gross but major digestive issues is the cause of this 1.6 lb drop from yesterday. Still not 100% this morning. I've got to rally and get it together though because my daughter and I are going out of town for the night. I am taking her to see her very 1st concert, she is so excited! I have been promising her a concert for over a year but no one she really wanted to see was on tour or had a concert near us. So we compromised on a concert that I thought would have a young (safe) crowd and are going to see Niall Horan.. He was in One Direction, which she was never a huge fan of, but she does like his solo music so it should be fun. We are staying overnight at a hotel and won't be back home to weigh-in until too late on Saturday, so I'll weigh-in next on Sunday. See you in Round 53!13 -

@SheilaBoneham Wow, the elimination diet is much harder than keto, in my opinion. Corn and soy by products are hidden in every ingredient list, it seems. Clean eating for sure!
@quiltingjaine Yes, it's restrictive, but only for 6 weeks. Then I'll start adding things back one at a time to see if any cause a reaction. Hopefully taking away foods known to cause inflammation will also reduce my inflammation markers further (they've dropped some since I took beef and anything made with flour out of my diet about a month ago). I've avoided added sugars for 3+ years, so that's no problem. And there are lots of yummy veggies, beans, lentils, fruits, fish, and poultry still within bounds. I'd much rather go without cheese and tomatoes than take steroids! So I'm hoping this works. I'm actually pretty excited about it since I feel much more in control working WITH a doctor and dietitian rather than under their "orders."3 -

9/05 - 145. Hanging steady, and I think I saw the needle nudging toward 144. Made time to be active yesterday and it felt so good! I picked up a midday snack yesterday that turned out to be 780 calories! It was printed right on the bag, but I didn't read it until after I ate. Oops. A light dinner and exercise helped balance the day.
9/06 - 144. Yes! Did a little fist pump when I saw a loss this morning. Today, I'm wearing a pair of pants that I bought during Round 47. I had to add a belt.
9/07 - 143.5. The scale was showing something lower than 144, so I'm calling it 143.5. Had to pick between exercise and sleep yesterday. I almost always prioritize everything else over sleep, but I picked sleep last night and got close to 8 hours. Based on how good I feel today, I'll be trying to prioritize sleep more often.
9/08 - 144. Up early for kid activities and then off to the state fair for the day.
9/09 - 145. Enjoyed an amazing grilled cheese sandwich at a restaurant near the fairgrounds late last night. It was soooo good and it comes with an outstanding tomato dipping soup. We go to that restaurant after the fair each year and I look forward to that sandwich more than I look forward to going to the fair!
9/10 - 144. Dealing with some late night snacking issues again that I need to reign in.
9/11 - 144. Solved late night eating problems last night be going to bed early last night. Looking forward to a healthy and delicious dinner tonight.
9/12 - 143.5. Yay, happy to see that again. Over 8 hours of sleep last night, which always seems to result in good things on the scale for me. In an old pair of pants today that I can finally get back into without looking like I'm stuffed in a sausage casing. 10 years ago, I bought these "fat pants" as a temporary measure to wear until I lost my pregnancy weight... Then proceeded to slowly outgrow them. Haha, now I'm happy to be back in my fat pants!
9/13 - 145. What? I didn't do anything that should have caused that. Ate in my calorie range, was active and got plenty of sleep yesterday. Off to drink a load of water to see if I can make this gain disappear tomorrow.
9/14 - 143. Phew! Yesterday's weight may have been the result of some salty eating (under calories, but very salty).
Very happy to end this round with a loss. Thanks to everyone posting here! Stopping in and reading the daily posts is helping me stay on track.8 -

9/5/18 – 120.6/-2.2/It was a fun day yesterday with biking and paddling! Rain today, so I got a 3 mile walk in early before it pours. Goal: to continue only eating at meal times.
9/6/18 – 119.4/-1.2/Walked this morning and did water aerobics last night. The rain has finally stopped here and will be biking later on with “the group”! Goal: to continue only eating at meal times & to start an Attitude of Gratitude journal (AOG).
9/7/18 – 118.8/-.6/No exercise this morning but will bike/commute to do errands. Did not sleep well last night but feel okay today. Staying on-plan and eating well! I think staying a bit more active after my last meal helps me not to eat after “the kitchen is closed”!
9/8/18 – 120.2/+ 1.4/Up, but no reason… Going out of town today and will be at the mercy of what is available as I’m not able to take food except for breakfast and a snack bar.
9/9/18 – No weigh-in. Didn’t do well on food yesterday, not looking forward to the results. I think my “out of routine” made me extremely unsatisfied food-wise and I ate way too much including popcorn/chips and other salty things.
9/10/18 – 125/+ 4.8/Up – SALT! Ugh! Even my face is retaining water this morning and it makes me mad! Hopefully lots of water today will flush out my system. I need to be super-conscious this week as I will be babysitting my grandkids for two days this week at their house and will be staying overnight. Will bring my own food for some meals and make what I want the others, but again, the routine will be off. I need to consciously eat and not eat for any other reason! It truly is interesting to see what happens when on or off “plan”! Certainly is an incentive in itself.
9/11/18 – 120.2 – Yup, it was salt! Still up, but I’m not unhappy.
9/12/18 – 123.4 – Up. It seems that whenever I eat over my allotment it shows up. I was hungry yesterday and didn’t eat horribly, but probably more than I should have and had sweeteners and peanut butter. Both are trigger foods. So, maybe I wasn’t really hungry when I thought I was? Mindfulness is definitely necessary. Additionally, I need to be more strict on my weigh-in times. Today was after my morning drinks and a bit of work. Weighing in first thing in the morning will provide more accurate readings. A new goal. No weigh-in tomorrow due to no scale being available, but I will post to keep this accountable!
9/13/18 – No post/no weigh-in
9/14/18 - 124.4 / +1. Fell off the wagon – hard! Tomorrow is a new day.

9/05-Not a good day, my grandson missed his first day of SK, he went to get checked out at the hospital.
9/06- Need today and tomorrow to be there for family.
9/07-My daughters family just got back from Cuba on Saturday, parents were sick in the middle of their trip and now grandchildren are super sick - one is 5 years old didn't make it to school this week high fever, cannot eat for three days, sleeping went to the hospital already and today is sister 8 yrs. old started headache and fever. It was a new resort I said pay the extra the food is suppose to be really good. Hope they get better soon !
9/08- Today my steps were back up, planned my meals for next week, today my grandson was totally fine, now is sister has it high fever and headache. Hopefully I can fight it off.
9/09- Let`s hope for a good week, my focus eating healthy and exercise .
9/10- Busy Monday, grandchildren still sick, now they both have a cough, I will see how I make out after radiation last month, I don't think I have time for germs because I run so much for them. But I don't mind.
9/11---This week it is my grand - daughter sick. Fever for 5 days, not eating, headache.
9/12-- It is hard to get back on track until she is better.
9/13--- trying to get my steps back up. Eating is getting back to normal before radiation.
9/14--- not a good two weeks with this sickness hopefully everybody starts to feel better.6 -
This is my first challenge! Excited to see all the posts/ideas.
Goals:
1) drink at least 10 cups of water
2) take a daily multivitamin
3) 10,000 steps
4) slowly increase activity
Mindset: I want to lose 50 pounds total, but since every big goal needs smaller goals, I'm going to try to think of it as losing 5 pounds 10 times. So I'm going to think in 5 lb increments and my goal will be to get to my next benchmark goal each time.
SW: 190.3
Day/Weight/Comment
9/05 - 190.3 - well I just thought how yummy the baby carrots were that I just ate! On my way to adjusting my food thinking!
9/06 - 189.6 - did some reps with my hand weights yesterday and 45 min on elliptical. Slowly but surely...oh and also, I just ate homemade soup for dinner and I'm still hungry!!!
9/07 - 189.3 - about 30 min on the elliptical today - negatives - cheated with a few boneless wings...sigh; positives - good water intake, vitamins
9/08 - 188.9 - had lots of activity today - over 15,000 steps woohoo! Brought snacks with me, but treated myself for dinner to my favorite sorta cheat meal - sloppy joes with 90% lean ground beef, healthy life whole wheat buns, corn on the cob and baked beans; fair water intake - could have done better...
9/09 - 188.2 - did a 30 min circuit training workout this evening - I know I will feel it tomorrow! Still struggling to get all my water intake in...feeling hungry - workouts always do this to me...
9/10 - 188.2 (no change) - a little sore today from my circuit training workout yesterday, but not too bad because I started slow with a 30 min workout and modified most moves. Cut my grass for over an hour today and am going to try to do a longer workout tomorrow...
9/11 - 187.7 - yay!!! some progress! funny how seeing a few results can spur you on - worked out 60 min today, but I did eat back some of my exercise calories b/c I was sooooo hungry. Haven't figured out how to suppress post workout hunger even though I'm eating protein within the right window after.
9/12 - 187.2 - slowly but surely! - did 45 min of Leslie Sansone walking videos - didn't quite get my 10 cups of water...I have to figure out how to get more water intake earlier in the day
9/13 - 186.3 - been working really hard at this sooooo 4 pounds down since start of challenge!!! I just restarted my weight loss efforts so this challenge has been the perfect boost!
9/14 - 186 - had a little Friday/end of challenge treat - 3 crab rangoon and a handful of orange chicken - yum!
Hope everyone had a successful challenge! This was my first one, but it won't be my last!
End result - 4.3 pounds lost!!!8 -

Round five for me. Sorry, I'm starting late but I'm back to work and things got a bit hectic as I was getting back into the routine of getting both myself and daughter ready in the mornings. However, I have been tracking my weight.
My goal for this round to get under 195lbs. Good luck everyone :-)
9/05 198lbs - up 0.5 from the last round ... maybe it's my body getting used to the exercise
9/06 197lbs - on my way down
9/07 194lbs - wow 3lbs down !!!... don't think it will stay ..but I'll take it, for now ...went swimming today. it always makes me see life in a better way.
9/08 194 - surprised I'm still at this number (but secretly very pleased)
9/09 195lbs knew it was going to happen
9/10 197 ..well that didn't last long, but I know that I've not been keeping up with my water... back to it!
9/11 195.5 lbs ..that's better
9/12 195 lbs- didn't make the best eating choices today so I know I'll pay for it..water levels are suffering too. Need to sort my act out and focus on the bigger picture rather than giving in to temptation
9/13 194.5lbs..going down
9/14 194 lbs pleased I met my goals for these 10 days
See you all in the next round7 -
