    I am soooooo sick of this plateau! I am working hard and i am seeing some changes in body composition, but I would like to see the scale move too! This has been going on for 3 months!! Oh well, back to work I guess!

    BTW, I donated $10 to my local food bank! Thanks for the suggestion.

    i hear ya! i had an 11-week plateau and i was super frustrated. just keep doing what you're doing and it will break.

    Jumping in really late on this challenge!

    Hi, I'm Melody. I used to participate in these challenges and then I hit a huge plateau and then I went AWOL over the summer and now I am back and trying to get re-motivated. I have lost not quite 40 pounds and have 70ish left to go to get to a healthy weight. I love reading, cooking except for right now when it is consistently 100+ degrees outside, and have just started a new challenge of homeschooling a kindergartner. I'm also in training to walk my 2nd 5K in September... or will be if the heat will ever let up so I can breathe while training. My life is in way too much flux.

    this morning my scale read 123.1. i think i am getting progesterone bloat because my waist size went up 3 inches as well. :(

    this morning my scale read 123.4. to think just four short days ago, i was at 121.7. i can't find anything in my closet to wear and it feels crummy. it reminds me of why i started trying to lose weight in the first place. :(

    from the weekend challenge, our healthy barbeque contribution would be grilled pepper relish on crostini with goat cheese.

    * 4 bell peppers, (mixed colors), halved, seeded and stemmed
    * 1/4 cup halved and pitted oil-cured black olives
    * 1/4 cup rinsed oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
    * 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
    * 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
    * salt
    grill peppers on medium-high, turning once, until soft and charred in spots, about 5 minutes per side. when cool enough to handle, chop the peppers, olives and sun-dried tomatoes; toss with oil and vinegar in a large bowl. add salt to taste.

    spread a thin layer of goat cheese (1/4 ounce) on toasted crostini (french bread sliced thinly). top with grilled pepper relish (like bruschetta).

    serves 8-16, calories 127.

    Well i put 2lb on but i hoping thats because of the walking we have done this week. I had my belly bar put back in (new hole made) and i'm happy about it. i hope when my stomach flattens it will look great
    I have just looked @ my weight ticker & it says i have 20kg (44.1lb) to get to my weight goal. That is a lot but i will get there in the end.

    i weighted myself before bed. (i do every night so i can predict what the number is going to be in the morning. for me, it is usually 2 pounds from what i am going to see in the morning.) i saw 120.6 on the scale for the first time in a long time! i was kind of hopeful to wake up at 118, but i am at 121 instead. i hope that doesn't mean that my scale battery is dying.

    we have a trip this weekend (friday to monday) and then leave again tuesday night thru sunday, so i will be weighing in on tuesday next week and may not have time to post a challenge. if i don't post a challenge next week, it will be a pick your own challenge (mine will probably be to limit my smore's to one per night). :) i will still post a challenge tomorrow for this week.

    Hi everyone, so my best friend came to visit last week and I'm pretty sure all we did was eat....not good. All my pants are too tight and I need to get this act together so hopefully by the 7th I can be down to about 146-145. I sure messed this challenge up!

    I was surprised with the larger weight loss this week. Last Friday, I decided to up my calorie limit by 200 so I've been eating more. However, I also haven't exercised since last Thursday. I'm worried the weight loss is due to losing muscle from not working out. Hopefully, I just wasn't eating enough before. We'll see how this week goes. I've also got a wedding this weekend so I'll be eating out a bunch. Hope that doesn't affect anything too much.

    After losing 3/4 lb/week the last few weeks I kind of revised my goal in my head to be 145. It seems, though, I may make it to 140 by Labor Day week.

    if anyone wants to do a challenge this weekend, it is: TO TAKE A SPIN CLASS OR RIDE YOUR BIKE OUTSIDE FOR 30 MINUTES. i will post the challenge on thursdays after the weigh-in. it will be a random idea and you can chose to participate or not. if you do, have fun pedaling your way to fitness.

    Well, managed to make it through vacation with only gaining one pound!! I am pretty excited seeing as how I can normally gain at least 5 pounds or more. Really going to step up the exercise program in the next couple of weeks. A vacation was long overdue!!

    I unknowingly completed the challenge this week, lol. I did a spin class on my cruise, which was the first spin class I've ever done. It was soooo intense! I wish my gym offered them, but they don't =( I also rode my bike outside this morning for an hour.

    Good job to dakotadoux for sticking pretty close to original weight on vacation! That's great! Also, nice loss for ralisson! You guys are doing great in this challenge!

    I have been away on & off for two weeks. on Friday to Sunday we went camping. Our friend was getting married in her home town 3hrs from our house. We had a 3 course meal & there was a buffet after (8:30pm it was put up) which was really good, no rubbish.i ate far to much.

    No loss, but I will take it. Last weekend was my best friend's wedding. I did rather well eating wise. Exercising the past 2 weeks has not been my focus. Between school and work I have not had any time. After this paper gets completed on Thursday I will start exercising again. I'm looking forward to the weekend for relaxation and exercising purposes.

    1.4 down but still 6 lbs from start weight...I guess that will be my goal, that's 2 lbs a week! Hope I can do it!
