9/19 -188.7- really happy about this. Let's take it down more! Next mini goal weight is 185.0 (but GW for this challenge is 186.5).
9/20- 188.3- woohoo! I didn't do as well yesterday as I wanted to but today went really well so hopefully the scale delivers

My goal is to stay under my calorie goal, 1200, and to lose 3 pounds in this round. In all, I want to drop 55. I'm 5'6" and 185 lbs, so my goal is about 135. I'm trying to set small, realistic goals so that I can motivate myself with my successes.
In this round, I'm focusing on drinking about a gallon of water a day. I find that I eat more towards the end of the day when I'm tired, so I'm allowing myself NO after dinner snacks.
I'm a newbie here so sorry if I make any "new kid" mistakes. Thanks for the support and accountability, guys!
9/15 - I went only 35 calories over my goal, which is 1200 calories a day. I drank a gallon of water, too, which is good. Was out doing yard work in the sun all day so hopefully with the sweating and extra water intake, hopefully I'll lose some water weight!
9/16 - Forgot to weight myself today . But I was 159 calories under my calorie goal, even though we had a potluck at my church and they had my favorite mouth-watering donuts for dessert. I made it, tho!
9/17 - 186. I hate the scale. Doesn’t make sense that I would have gained a pound, so I’m attributing it to water weight fluctuation and trying not to get to discouraged. 1,068 calories. 1 gallon of water.
9/18 - 185. So, I ate nothing but coffee and lunch meat all day cause my stomach felt upset, but late at night I was out and was STARVING, so I went to steak and shake, and, ahem. Ate about 1400 calories in one sitting. So I had a total of about 2200 calories. Oh, well.
9/19 - Ha. Weighed myself this morning and was 184, even though I binged last night. Funny how your body works! Drank 1 gallon of water and ate 1,035 calories. Feeling pretty good.
9/20 - Still 184. I guess at least I’m not gaining. Went 100 calories over my goal and only had 72 oz of water, but all in all I feel it’s been a good day. Starting Keto diet tomorrow so I’m hoping that will speed things up.

9/16 -- OK -- weighed in this morning and BIG SURPRISE! 126.4.... 9/19 -- 125.9 -- meant to go to power yoga class last night, but decided to walk puppy (1 yr. old lab mix -- we "rescued" her in July -- but who rescues who? ) with hubby instead. It was a beautiful long summer night walk. Hopefully will make power yoga tonight -- the changes in my body are amazing me (muscles! abs!) -- this is so worth it everyone!! I often say it took me decades to get here, and I don't know why it did -- but it's SO worth it!
9/20 -- almost didn't get to post here today! No change, but did a power yoga class tonight (we do it in 90 degree heated studio -- amazing feeling when you get through it!) so hopefully tomorrow there will be a loss -- patience is a virtue!

9/17 72kg
9/18 72kg
9/19 71kg
9/20 71kg
9/21 71kg still, but I'm content with that. Went quite a bit overboard yesterday, cake, big lunch and pizza in the eve. Then also realised that I forgot to log some late night snacks on Tue, so had to add those.
On a positive, I got up and went for a quick run, which was great!10 -
So I posted my update while I was stretching, and then this happened... Maybe it's gonna make you laugh too 😂
17 -
Hi, again. I couldn't finish most of the challenges but I'm still around here. So, I hope this will be better and I'll finish it. Maybe I'll make it a confession of bad habits, however, I have to change things. Ok, here we go.
9/15 86.3 kg (190.2 lbs)
Yesterday I binged and ate junk food at night. I have some phrases of eating junk food 3-4 times in a year. I eat every day for a few weeks but then sick of it. I think it's time to sick of it. I'll be better, promise to myself. I'm just having so many anxious thoughts in my mind these days about work, Ph.D., relationships etc. Emotional/stress eating is my thing... I'm about to program my life these days and, diet and exercise are part of it.
9/16 86.4 kg (190.4 lbs) but after breakfast because I forgot weighing before
Confession is coming... I drank alcohol, one beer, one glass of wine and two shots of tequila. So I might be dehydrated. I also ate a brownie and pizza. However, I walked 15k steps. I hope today will be better.
9/17 85.9 kg (189.3 lbs)
Yay! No need to confess. I didn't binge, eat junk food or drink alcohol. And see the lower weight, that's what should I do. Actually yesterday I really wanted to eat dessert, but I didn't let myself. And also yesterday I bought myself a running shirt for myself which gives me motivation. I really like it and it's medium size and kinda fits me, normally I wear XL. Starting next week I'll be really busy, I think it'll be good for my diet, there'll be no time to eat. I realized that when I'm at home, I tend to binge. And this summer I was mostly at home so gained lost of weight. I believe myself, even I took a "before pic".
9/18 86.3 kg (190.2 lbs)
I was doing ok until I saw the carrot cake... However, all day I was on the streets walked 21k steps. But I should go to the gym. I haven't gone for a while. And also I shouldn't eat pasta for dinner, even I wasn't hungry that much... Ahh me...
9/19 86.8 kg (191.3 lbs)
This is the result of late dinner (with too many carbs) and a chocolate souffle. However, I went to the gym and exercised about 2 hours, I was really good at it. At least I exercised, right?
9/20 86.6 kg (190.9 lbs)
That's something... Actually until late night snack, which was emotional eating, everything was going great. Even for dinner, I ate a nice salad and I walked 10 k steps.
9/21 86.4 kg (190.4 lbs)
Yes, this is the right way. I was good yesterday, except I just ate (kinda) a little Nutella. I ate salad for dinner which is really important to me. Because the hardest part is dinner for me. I walked 8k steps, I was very tired at the evening so I couldn't go to the gym.

Goal for this round is to actually stick to plan for the entire 10 days!
I haven't been getting much sleep, so I've been eating all things bad and not exercising.
Round 48: SW 257.4 EW 253.8 (-3.6)
Round 49: SW 253.8 EW 257.2 (+3.4)
Round 50: SW 257.2 EW 255.8 (-1.4)
Round 51: SW 255.8 EW 252.4 (-3.4)
Round 52: SW 252.4 EW 253.5 (+1.1)
Day/Weight/Comment
9/15 - no weigh in. I forgot about it this morning until I had already eaten. Plan is to not eat after 5pm, try to get a good sleep tonight and than back to better eating (@ calorie goal) and exercise tomorrow.
9/16 - 255.6...a lot of bad food for a lot of days. Plan for today is to fast (which will be hard because I've woken up hungry), reset and get to the gym tonight.
9/17...?? Completely missed yesterday
9/18 - 256.6...yesterday was ok, not the best food choices but stayed under calories (with eating my exercise back), 80 mins of walking, 100 oz of water. TOM showed up this morning.
9/19 - 254.3...under calories by a few, 30 min walk and 76 oz water.
9/20 - 253.4...under calories, 60 mins of walking and 125 oz of water. I didn't have the greatest day yesterday and I really wanted to eat my emotions but managed to keep to plan instead...happy with that!
9/21 - 253.4...over calories, no exercise and only 50 oz of water. I was going to exercise after my son went to sleep but he wasn't feeling well so I ended up having to go to bed with him at 8pm. Went out for lunch yesterday and had nachos. The portion was so large I had to take it home and have it for supper as well..plus some ended up in the garbage. It put me way over on my calories though. Today will be better.

9/15 —134.2— I had a feeling this would happen once I got some sleep! Happy weekend everyone 😊
9/16 —133.8— Super busy day yesterday, so I had a late dinner.. wasn’t expecting a loss, but I’ll take it of course. Going out to eat later so I can watch the patriots game and my hunny can watch his 49ers game.. will practice self discipline and pick out something healthy(ish) to eat! 🏈🏈🏈
9/17 —134.6 — Umm.. yikes! I thought I did really good when I went out to eat yesterday, staying under calories and I drank SO much water.. this is possibly salt, I hope! We’ll see.. 🤞🏼
9/18 —133.2— Well that’s a relief! Darn salt givin’ me a heart attack 😝 It’s my day off today, but have a test tomorrow so will be studying all day. Oh yeah and I lost my fantasy football game last night.. 😢 oh well~
9/19 —133.8— Early morning weigh in today. Yesterday was the first day in a long time where I really struggled to control my food cravings! I went about 100 calories over my goal, I will try to make up for it today.
9/20 —132.6— It’s my day off! I will be trying to enjoy the day, and looking forward to the football game tonight!😄
9/21 —132.8— I only had about 4 hours of sleep last night so I actually expected an increase this morning, 12-hour hospital shift today, Yay! 🤪

15/09 Busy work week, kept pretty well to my meal planner.
16/09 Had a couple of nice walks in Dingle, County Kerry yesterday, had a couple of beers and some homemade curry. Trendweight chart is on a downward turn again
17/09 Had a pretty lazy day to end post-race recovery week yesterday, little walk to keep active, scale is being nice at the moment, all my race/shark week water weight is off and then some. Today's goals are to get my meal prep done for the week, making some pan fried chicken and quinoa salad for lunches and salmon fishcakes for a couple of dinners. Looking forward to tonight's leftover Saag Paneer this evening, it's relatively low calorie but very tasty
18/09 Quite heavy on the carbs/calories yesterday but still under maintenance, naturally there is a bit of a scale rise with the volume in food, also didn't get much fibre in on Sunday. Had a lovely row before work today 6km with a bit of sun before the rain started for the day. Goal for today is to get my steps in, as drove to/from work yesterday due to weather and this morning and cut my streak short booo!
19/09 Food was a bit all over the place yesterday, but again under maintenance, got a bit of walking in and got over my step goal so the streak starts again, blustery walk into work this morning, definitely blew the cobwebs away Goals for today - prelog next couple of days food, focus on protein & fibre and step goal
20/09 Pre-logged for next couple of days as planned, went out for dinner last night so bit of a sodium spike this morning expect it will disappear by the weekend. Protein intake vastly improved this week so far. Aim for today get a bit more hydrated and remember to take my vitamins, definitely feeling the change of season with the grey days and earlier nights. Going to try and get a strength training session in on my lunch hour today
21/09 Was a little out of control with my snacking yesterday, also didn't do my strength training, doing an extra rowing session to assist my club with the city's Culture Night so at least that will make up for a bit. Having a goal-free day today, just because11 -

9/15 - 153 - Holding steady, sigh...It may go up tomorrow after the salt I had for dinner tonight.
9/16 - 153 - At least it didn't go up.
9/17 - 153.5 - There's the salt, or the fact that I keep moving my scale due to our bathroom remodel. I double checked my gross calories consumed for the past week and I haven't gone over 1400 calories, in fact I'm usually at 1100 to 1200 a day. I'll just keep riding this out.
9/18 - 152.5 - I'm glad to see this number today. I'm hoping this is the highest number I see for the rest of the week.
9/19 - 152.5 - I picked up some cotton candy grapes from Whole Foods on Sunday and they have been my addiction this week. I know they're higher in sugar and calories than regular grapes, but I've been able to forego my usual little piece of candy after dinner for a half cup of grapes.
9/20 - 152 - I saw this number last round, I hope it sticks around this time.

9/15 - 165.8 (-0.4) - starting second round and second week of Dr. Poon Phase 1 diet
9/16 - 165.2 (-0.6) - making grilled eggplants and zucchini plus green beans with onions and tomatoes today and smoked pulled pork, turkey and duck for this week - still cannot believe I have lost 9 lbs in 9 days WITHOUT FEELING HUNGRY by eating essentially “proteins ‘n greens”. I have a sweet tooth and still I am not hungry. Dr Poon diet is working! Why did I not know about this years ago? A doctor told me about it. Look into it to see if it is a good fit for you right now. (No I am not being sponsored. Yes I was very reserved about trying another diet one I had not heard of that seemed so restrictive.)
9/17 - 165.2 (0) - First day no loss. No surprise though. I reviewed diary & I ate 2x carbs on Sun (goal 30 ate 60! Had a Venti Iced Tea at Starbucks. Plus has dinner very late. On the plus side had no bread, OH- or dessert. Next time water or iced coffee at Starbucks!
9/18 - 165.2 (0)
9/19 - 165.2 (0) Well my tomatoes, roma beans, buratta cheese and Venti iced tea stalled me so yesterday ate healthy and hopefully in a couple of days I will see a change. I learned a valuable lesson. My calories were low but my carbs were high and stalled.
9/20 - 165.0 (-0.2)
9/21 - 164.4 (-0.6) Good grief. It took a couple of days of sticking to the plan to see weight loss again - all because of roma beans and iced tea. Not worth it. Onwards and upwards!

09/15 177.2 Well that's a nice way to start the round
09/16 177.6 That's fine I expected a bounce, and I was thirsty all day yesterday so that big drop may have been partly dehydration. A workout and 2 walks yesterday - so it was a good day.
09/17 177.6
09/18 179 mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
09/19 179.8 another day of not enough sleep and too many carbs. Getting back on track today - I do not want to see the 180's again.
09/20 180.8 hopefully just a delayed reaction from Monday and Tuesday. I ate under my calories and my activity level was over my minimum target. (i.e. 8800/7500 steps - started with a workout today and will go for a walk at lunch, so hope to see a drop tomorrow.
09/21 178.2 That's better!

9/15: 215.5 already gone to the gym and now to help my friend move!
9/16: 215.6 had a not so great dinner on the run yesterday. Working at Target this morning and then doing some relaxing because it's my rest day.
9/17: 214.5 had some carbs and fat left over last night so went and got ice cream but apparently that was ok. Hit my StepBet goals for the week, two more weeks to go in this challenge. Went to the gym this morning and did an upper body workout. Now, school and then Target, busy busy!
9/18: 214.5 feeling tired and sore this morning after a super long day yesterday but trying to stay positive. On top of all that I planned to do, I also did 17k steps. Today I was not planning on going to the gym but its raining so a walk after work seems like a bad idea.
9/19: 214.6 This is acceptable since the hubs decided he wanted Chinese food last night. He's starting a diet today in prep for a gastric sleeve later in the year and he wanted his last meal to be gluttonous. Wednesdays are usually my cheat day but a shift this week is fine especially since I hit the gym this morning before work. Wednesday, here I come!
9/20: 215.1 ugh, bad number. Last night was another "cheat meal", pizza, and it was awful. In hindsight, I should have gotten a salad but oh well. Today's plan is to kill it at the gym with a HIIT workout tonight and get al my steps in. Yesterday I was able to get my steps in by convincing my family that we needed to walk the dogs! Not sure if weighing in every day is good for me since it was so disheartening this morning but I'll keep with this challenge and reevaluate at the end.
9/21: 215.3 Yup, weighing in every day is not for me. I worked SO hard yesterday at the gym and with my eating that I totally expected that number to be lower than yesterday. I'll stick through this 10 days and probably won't do it again. I did manage to take measurements last night and now have new goals to hit. I'm trying to be ok with the slowness of this process, but I'd be ok with it if it happened a bit faster. Happy Friday?

9/15--157.8 staying steady at this weight. This is definitely a lot later than I usually post but I did weigh myself this morning just wasn't able to post till now (even if in a short amount of time I will have to re weigh in) good day yesterday. 90 min of work out, ate fairly well and got 1.6 liters of water in. Here is to a great start!!!
9/16-- 157 once again late post but once again I weighed in this morning. Was super excited to see this but I know it's only for the day. Yesterday I worked out like crazy but unfortunately didn't eat or sleep much, (about 4 hours) only having a little over a liter of water. Today I ate well but it was my last day house/dog sitting and when my friends came home they took us out for pizza. I haven't had pizza for a long time and apparently I was super hungry because I ate 3 slices 😣😣😣 I have never ate so much in my life, so this will definitely show on the scale in the morning. I haven't sabotaged myself in a while....but here we are again.
9/17-- 158.6 and here it is... that dreaded pizza. It's ok though, I am being patient, i know I can take it off and keep it off. It's a new day!!!
9/18 158.6 although I was a little upset by this I have managed to think up a couple of reasons why I am still here. 1. I haven't been getting enough sleep the past couple of days. 2. I need to up my hydration. 3. Breakfast, always seem to do better the days I eat early. 4. Sodium was a little high yesterday and 5. That dreaded pizza still has a hold. I exercised yesterday (a 10 mile bike ride and workout with my mom) even though it was supposed to be my rest day i am secretly happy about the bike ride. I have a stationary bike but I forgot how amazing it is to ride the real thing, might make it a thing before winter hits. Drank 1 liter of water and stayed under my calories..but like I said it was a higher sodium day then usual. Back at it again today!!
9/19 158.4 slow and steady is my pace lol Yesterday was dinner at the in laws and omg the amount of food I ate. Holy cow!! Was worse then pizza night. I was so hungry, don't remember the last time I ate so much. On the bright side, although I ate a crazy amount of calories, fat, sodium etc. When I got home I decided the negative number in my daily was not acceptable so I went for a bike ride and did some exercising. I managed to squeak a +3 calorie wise, and drop a significant amount grams from my carbs and fat. I will take it!!! This week I have already had 2 cheat meals, which is way above my usual but my NSV is I still exercised both times. I hope to continue this effort of exercising on cheat meal days or sticking to my goals on exercise rest days😁😁 As for the rest of the week, I have no more plans that might sabotage me so I all ready to re-re- work lol
9/20 157.6 finally a whoooosh. To bad this is almost a duplicate of last round. Hoping to get extra exercise in and seeing some sort of a bigger loss for the round *fingers crossed* I ate well and exercised good yesterday along with 1.2 liters of water. Hope everyone has a great day.
9/21 156.6 Whhooooooosh!!!! Ahhh I am so excited. I did work out hard yesterday so I am slightly not surprised but I am still very happy. I have a digital scale and when I originally jumped on it said 156.0 but I shook my head and thought "this can't be right" after jumping on another three times 156.6 showed up three times so I took that number rather then the lower one, so I wouldn't jinx it lol only three more days to hit my target weight 🤞🤞🤞 I find myself getting so emotional everytime I loose a pound in the 50s, why? I have no clue. I feel like I really have undid all the damage that I inflicted on myself 6 months before deciding to join this group and start my MFP journey again. I use to always get discouraged but now I honestly feel like I can do it, that I am only going to go down from here...no interruptions or towel throwing lol. Have I said thank you to you all recently? Well thanks to all of you, especially @GrandmaJackie if it wasn't for this group...I don't think anything would have changed for me 😭😭 thank you!!

This round I begin a dietitian-designed 6-8 week anti-inflammation elimination diet (a bit tighter than what I've been doing the past month) with hopes of getting past these aches & pains without taking drugs. I'm feeling hopeful!
Goals:
Food ~~ Follow anti-inflammation elimination diet - learn new food tricks!
Exercise ~~ rebuild to 60-90 minutes/day of walking/swimming; restart weight training & yoga when joint pain subsides.
Weight ~~ [Edit 9/16] == 2018: maintain at 140 (or slightly lower)

Day/Weight/Calories Day Before/Comment
09/15 - 140.6 - 1116
I'm hoping to get a nice long walk in this morning, and some gardening this afternoon. Have a great weekend, all!
09/16 - 140 - 1131
Yeah, baby! Now to stay here (or a little lower)! I intend to slowly add calories to maintenance level - slowly to figure out what that actually is. Wow - I've been on the loser track for so long (3.75 years) that arriving doesn't feel real!
09/17 - 139.8 - 1010
I don't feel particularly deprived so far on this elimination diet, but I do struggle to get enough calories (never thought I'd say that 3 years ago!!!!). I need to work on that - running much too low. But all the veggies really fill me up!
09/18 - 140 - 997
So far, so good. I'm still finding it a challenge to get enough calories on this elimination diet, but I need to make an effort to increase slowly. Too low is too low. Otherwise, it's fine, and nice to be at goal. This has been a 3.75-year journey, so keep the faith!!!
09/19 - 139.2 - 1118
Since I'm losing on this elimination diet (yes to lots of veggies, moderate fruits, fish, gluten-free oatmeal, nuts, seeds...!), I've decided to just go with it. My real ultimate goal has long been ~130, but I stagnated in the low 150s for so long I decided to just aim for 140. But I'm losing steadily on this scheme, so... No goal, just eating and tracking and definitely not gaining.
09/20 - 139.2 - 1239
I woke up hurting all over and seriously thinking of caving in and taking the @&!!# prednisone. I'm off to look up ways, if any, to minimize side effects. It's a short course, but still.... Other than that, I feel great on this limited diet - can't say I really miss anything in particular (except maybe Dave's Killer Bread - Good Seed!).
09/21 - 138.2 - 1230
Maybe this elimination diet is kicking in re. food sensitivities causing my pain/inflammation - this morning, without any pain meds, I feel much better. So I'm delaying the pred another day or two to see what happens. I went for a lovely walk last evening - not up to my usual 60-90 min yet, but I'm hopeful that I will be up to some nice fall hikes.

9/15 149.6 Went for a morning walk then planted myself on the couch. Feeling better but still a little low energy and scratchy throat. Feeling pretty good with my body, starting to read the maintenance boards and the concensus seems to be that maintenance is a series of small, 5 lb yoyo's to keep yourself in check. In my past, maintenance has been the hard part. As I am nearing my goal I am thinking more and more about how I want to live this second half of my life, and it's all about getting rid of the baggage I've carried, in my mind and on my bod. I don't know if I have another 50 years or 50 days or 50 hours, but I intend to take care of this body just in case!
9/16 151.6 Thankfully due to this challenge I know I didn't gain 2 lbs of fat overnight. I went to Mexican food yesterday and totally enjoyed my taco, rice, beans and some chips. Though the quantity was small, this was the real authentic stuff, cooked with manteca and oh so worth it! I expect this to disappear within the next 2 days. Super hydration and low carb is the plan today, as well as a hilly walk with my pups. I increased my daily calories from 1200 to 1400 and my goal is to STAY within this window for the rest of this challenge. Have a great Sunday everyone!
9/17 WEIGH IN DAY 149.8 Got rid of most of the bloat thanks to lemon/cucumber water! Yesterday was pretty uneventful, didn't end up going on a walk, instead chilled and did stuff around the house. Hard to do sometimes but I am learning. I have been a go go go person for so much of my life, and now have reached a place where I don't have to work, but I can if I want. Having to learn to be ok not being busybusy is sometimes difficult. The pup helps, as well as my 16yo son who still needs my presence. Today walking the hill with DH and pups, this hill used to be partially in the "red zone" heart rate for me, but now sticks in fat burning, though I am not charging it as much on the uphill so as not to leave hubby in the dust, but still a success. I am waiting for him to catch up so we can do it twice instead of once and done.
9/18 149.6 Good day, morning walk, went to work for a couple of hours and felt accomplished. Made chicken wings and french bread pizza for dinner, a fun break from the usual protein/veggie/carb balanced meals that I make for the family. Logged my food and stayed in the green! Hubby is slowly but surely getting on board, which makes me so happy. He suggested we walk the dogs TWICE a day on the hill instead of once, or add the bike ride in as well. I am all for it since I had pulled back for him to catch up, and it feels so good to be active together!
9/19 150.4 Staying in the green so far with this new increased calorie alottment from 1200 where I was over every day to 1400 now, however I have eased up on the carbs so will need to be conscious of that...but I am reminded it is a lifestyle. Really trying to break out of the diet mentality that I started this journey with as I near my goal. Being okay with a slower loss and incorporating foods that I was eliminating in moderation. Last night was the first good nights sleep I had in a long while. For the past several months I have felt my sleep is very restless, waking up at 4-5 am wide awake and unable to go back to sleep. I go to bed early, so I know it may just be that my body has had enough, but its the waking up throughout the night that leaves me feeling like I didn't sleep well. Walking the hill with my pups and DH then off on a mountain bike ride while my youngest son is at work, so I should get nice and physically tired today!
9/20 149 Success yesterday, did my ride and my walk, and ate in the green. Went to bed early when the snacking monster hit to avoid blowing it. Lowest weight so far, the solid 149, feeling strong and happy and accomplished.
9/21 149 Woke up hungry yesterday, had a big breakfast then skipped lunch. Walked with my son this time, stayed in the green. DH told me I was looking slim.

If you do stick with this group, what weighing in everyday will *hopefully* end up giving you is a sort of detachment to the number on the scale. Instead of getting frustrated with the scale not going down (when you did everything you could correctly to make it go down) what happens is that you will instead notice trends in how your body weight fluctuates naturally. I know about my body now that about every 10 days, I see a bump up that lasts 2-3 days and then I start losing again. It lets me trust the process, all I have to do is put in the effort and the scale eventually catches on and will show the results. Plus this group is just full of great people, ready and willing to offer up tons of motivation and support. But weighing in everyday is not for everyone, you need to do what will make this a successful process for you12 -
@mthomas0228 you continue to inspire me with your sticktoitiveness on the daily workouts! I did the first week of the 30 day one then went camping and never started up again :-/ We started about the same but your losses have been more consistent and bigger, you are amazing!
Thanks so much @denswrex ! The daily workouts are super important to me, yes they are helping to change my body but the mental boost I get from working out is the most important to me in this process. I started distance running years ago to prove to myself I can do hard things - completing my strength workouts & staying committed to these programs now is giving me the same "proof". I am a firm believer that everyone needs an aspect of their life where they can let their inner bada$$ shine And don't sell yourself short, YOU are making amazing progress too!5 -
Coming in late!

Ate well until about 9:30 pm. It’s my first day on this journey and I’m re-learning my triggers. Forgot how much of a late night snacker I was. Oh well...tomorrow is a new day!
9/19: Forgot to weigh in but here goes...ate a “better” breakfast, considering the food we have around the house. Going grocery shopping today for better options that are still realistic for me. Went out to eat and got veggie pasta with a side salad—I’ve decided I’m only going to work on one or two things at a time, instead of just throwing myself into this lifestyle full force. The first thing is to eat more fruits/veggies and drink more water. Next I will worry about portion control, etc. I did do some late night eating again, but it was more of a meal that I tried to make as healthy as possible (again, considering the food we have)...we had a pretty early dinner.

Bought some new foods, all healthy. We also got this frozen vegetable pot pie from our favorite place and I think we are going to have to stop because my husband and I ate the whole thing in one sitting😪 On another note, I ate more fruits and veggies yesterday than I have in a while and I drank so much water!! I did late night snacking again (unfortunately) BUT it was healthy foods. Doesn’t make me feel as bad but I did feel bloated and gross when I woke up this morning. I’m going to go invest in some delicious caffeine free tea to have instead when I get a craving...and maybe some chewing gum lol.
