Baked spicy yogurt chicken breast with red lentil veg coconut curry over brown rice, served with naan (not pictured). All fresh made except the naan (store). Tastes way better than it photographs; had a more vibrant color. The family liked it, but did admit the local Indian restaurant has nothing to fear, LOL.

Grilled teriyaki chicken with fried cabbage and bacon. Tomato soup with tortellini, corned beef and chicken enchilada suizas3 -
Romaine and ranch. Rare rump steak and air fryer frozen chips with toum.

Not fancy by ANY means, but it's comfort food. Sauteed onions and bell peppers with venison/pork sausage and Creole seasoning. The rest of the family gets jambalaya.2 -
Autumn is here. First slowcooker meal of the season: chicken barley stew. I forgot to take a picture of the serving, this is prepped for going into the fridge; there are several bone-in chicken tights buried below the surface. Interesting scale-size note: I bought several humongous carrots at a farm market (forearm-sized). They have been very sweet and not woody; the carrot pieces here are rough chopped from those carrots.

My order was rare sirloin that came with slightly anemic chips, bearnaise and a sauteed portobello and roast tomato. Sauteed spinach on the side to share.

Chinese contact fried basa fillets with ginger and sprig onions, stir fried frozen peas with garlic, Indonesian tomato salad, cucumber salad with commercial Japanese sesame dressing, rice. English summer pudding with commercial custard.
