Hi everyone I would love to be a part of this year challenge. I need to loose at least 100 lbs. I’m 34 years old and I’m 264 lbs. I would love to loose the weight mostly because I miss being able to run like I used to. I used to be a runner but in the last 5 years I was in a physically, mentally, and sexually abusive relationship. It really took a toll on me and my emotional state and physically I ate my feelings to deal with the pain. I’m at sooo glad to say that I’m and free from the relationship and looking to start my life back over. I’m slowly learning the woman God made me to be and I get stronger every day but I really need encouragement to be able to stick with the program even when I feel like giving up. Thank you all for taking time to read this. I’m not wanting sympathy, just support!! I know I can do it!!! I see great things for my future.4

I am currently 279lbs. Looking to get down to at least 190-200lbs. But would love to get to 180lbs! Looking forward to meeting my goal with you guys!

JUNE 15 - I have re-started my weight loss!! I am calling this "week 10" and ignoring the weeks I was off-track - it's a coping mechanism to help get me back on track.
JULY 07 - I am back on track although the bumps along the road take an emotional toll. See you next week!
JULY 21 - it feels a bit like "slow and steady" right now, but we all know the adage!
Finally in the next decade! YES!
AUGUST 25 - a 2 week road trip of eating out, stalled me ... but not for long!! Getting back in the swing!
SEPT 15 - well, after 4 days in ONDERLAND, I am starting to accept it is true! And to trust in this long process of ups and downs.7 -

I just found this challenge. Restarting MFP. Have some health issues but I believe slow and steady can win my race. CW: 359.6 lb. GW for Nov.1st: 345 lb. GW Dec. 1st: 330 lb. GW Jan. 1st: 320 lb. GW for Feb. 1st: 308 lb. 230 lb. total to lose to get to my best weight for 5'6" which is 130 lb. Can't exercise at this point but will once I can. Michelle in Ohio5

I'm in! 256 now and my goal is 150. I'd love to be there in a year - which will take a whole lotta commitment. I tried Keto for an entire month & lost 4 lbs of water weight and then nothing...nada. Going back to my whole 30 plan which worked for me prior. I was hoping for quicker loss - losing water weight was great but didn't like the stall & the hair loss. Back to the basics for me.3

I'm changing my updates to monthly for the rest of the year. As I'm getting closer to a goal weight, there's not much happening week to week but I'm still checking in to see other posts almost daily. The month of Sept I lost 6.2 lbs and met another goal! Next up is onderland, I honestly can't believe I'm able to say that.
I saw most of my progress in the last week or so. Since I was moving I was easily hitting thousands of extra steps, climbing up and down stairs, and getting so busy that I just wouldn't eat until the end of the day (intermittent fasting for the win!!)
I've seen a lot of new people join in the last few weeks, so welcome! Can't wait to keep tracking progress with everyone.2 -

Adjusted macros, increased calories per day. Advised less cardio, more strength and resistance workouts due to lean muscle loss. Hired weight and strength coach, first day Oct 1.
