I derailed myself last year undoing a lot of good work. After a long absence from myfitnesspal I am back on track. This 10 day challenge seems like something I can do. I am joining in with Round 57.

10/25 - 146.5 - I'm happy I didn't have a bump up from yesterday.
10/26 - 146.5 - 3 days at the same weight is very unusual for me. I'm glad I didn't bounce up before the weekend!
10/27 - 147 - Well, here's the bounce. I had half a philly chicken gyro for supper last night and although I ate below maintenance for the day, I'm sure that sandwich had plenty of sodium. No regrets though, it was delicious and we only get carry out food a couple times a month. Back to more healthy eating for the rest of the weekend.
10/28 - 146.5 - We had tilapia and green beans last night and I passed on the mashed potatoes. My husband made no-bake cookies though and I had to have a half cookie. I will probably cave and have another one today, but he only makes them a couple times a year.
10/29 - 146.5 - I had a work conference today and ate out for lunch. I'm sure I'll have another bump up from the sodium. I'm eating out again tomorrow and will try to keep the choices a little healthier. This has been a bumpy week for me with all the extra restaurant food and cookies. I'm glad I'm in this thread, otherwise I may have gone overboard with all the food.

Continuing to drink the cucumber/parsley/lemon infusion, love the taste!
I agree. The parsley lemon cucumber water tastes pretty good. I also make it into a hot tea. However, I agree with @tiabirdie56 - The parsley water alone is an aquired taste. Unfortunately, I am already getting used to the taste of parsley which means I have been traveling and eating too much. However, as long as my DB stays okay, I will be home for most of the rest of this challenge. Next challenge, however, there is some travel again. I've got to learn to get better at this!

1. To be an inspiration to my 22 year old Autistic son who started his weight loss journey on

3. No Bingeing (new attitude on food outside of my home and socially)
4. 20-50 Net Carbs Daily. 1277 Calories Daily.
5. 10,000 steps per day. Mixed modes of exercise.
6. Lots of water, green tea daily, apple cider vinegar before carby meals. Increase my fiber. Reach my protein goal of 80g per day.
7. Check my blood sugar daily for improvements.

10/25 - 179.2 ….. I will have to make my starting weight my last weigh-in though I'm sure it is up from the travel. I can feel the horrible bloat and the sickness in my stomach. Too many carbs.
10/26 – 181.2….. Well. There it is. Yikes!!!! Glad to be home and back to routine. I have my work cut out for me, but I got this.
10/27 – 178.4….. Whoosh! Thanks Tish for that triple threat drink recipe. I knew I’d have to pull out all the stops. Wow! Nearly 3 pounds lost overnight!
10/28 - 177.0 ….. Whoosh again! Another 1.4 pounds of bloat down after drinking more of the triple threat debloating water yesterday. It’s still not completely gone so I will drink more (and make more) today. I’m down 4.2 pounds in 2 days so it’s helping a lot. I feel SO much BETTER, but I still have a bit of the round pregnant look. It used to look good on me, I would glow with that baby inside. Now, however, no baby and a little ridiculous looking for a 58 year old. So away it is going with the parsley lemon & cucumber water.
10/29 - 177.0 ….. Okay, I guess I’m down to the actual travel fat gain and not just water bloat. I continued to sip on the triple threat water today so I wouldn’t waste it in the fridge, however, now the real work starts. A friend is visiting today, so not a lot of opportunity for movement, but I’ve been sticking to my food plan pretty good. Have a great week everyone!

10/25 - steps 11,000 trying to get 10,000+, my exercise is improving a lot. Plus the weight is starting to come off.
10/26 - 3rd day of exercising , new exercises that I could not do from my surgery, 7 months ago feels so good.
10/27- Rest day/ shopping / Family Birthday
10/28 - I had a rough day, lots of swelling around my eye, I think it is caused because I'm not use to sleeping on that side, it is near where I had surgery. If it is like that tomorrow I will get it checked by our family doctor.
10/29 -Worked on getting my steps back up 10,000+ day 1-complete.

10/25: 195.7 (17,646 steps). Almost 13k steps at the time of writing this. Will go on a run after dinner. Did an amazing upper body workout. Day 5 of 30 days of yoga. Food isn’t so great today, though i will be under if I count my exercise calories.
10/26: 194.7! (9,455) Feels nice, aside from my right pec and glute being sore. Will have to take an epsom salt bath sometime today. I also had a hell of a time falling asleep. My upper spine really hurt. Hoping to make better food choices today and continue to see a downward trend. I will add steps the next day.
10/27 194.3! Today is homework and studying for my kinesiology midterm on Monday. Will try to get my steps in, but it might be hard.
10/28 194.3. Nice. Another study/homework day, but I’m determined to get all of my steps in today.

I'm in again too!
Last round was not a good one for me. I was not able to complete it. But this time I want to stay consistent! This will be my fourth round. I have ordered my Fitbit and waiting to get my hands on it! (I have a way too sedentary lifestyle)
Also planned to set mini goals from now on and try to acheive it in order to stay in track! My first mini goal for now is to reach 75kg before Nov 1st!

10/25 - 76kg Taking it slow and steady. If my scale was not moving down as I expect it to be, I am not gonna get discouraged this time! Because last round I gave up due to this reason!
10/26 - 76kg. No worries! At least the scale didn't move up!
10/27 - 75.7kg scale didn't move from 76kg for a while. So happy with today's reading! Made an initiative from yesterday to eat dinner at least 2 hours before going to bed. But still got hungry when I went to bed and so had to eat some biscuits!
10/28 - 75.5kg Followed the same like the previous day and I think it works!
10/29 - 75.8kg. Expected this! It was Sunday and I went a lil over my calories.
10/30 - 75.5kg back again! Weekdays normal routine so came back to where I was! We try so hard to get those scales to move down but a little treat or a holiday or a weekend or whatever occasion may be, we eat a few extra calories with our mind saying "just today! I have been working hard these many days so I deserve it" and then woof all those hard works goes away and we go a little behind! This is what I learned this time, that I have been doing this mistake over and over again so that's why I am lagging back with my progress! Just one day will cost you three to four days of hard work again!

10/30 - 244.5lb - well that was quick 😅 in fairness I had been holding water weight for most of last week and despite creating ample caloric deficit wasn’t seeing the scales budge so this loss is overdue. It surely helped that yesterday I managed over my 10,000 step goal, and was really on point with my diet. Today I will be trying to watch the sodium in what I’m eating,my body seems really susceptible to the “whoosh” effect and so I’m trying to find a way to help with the water retention.

Hmm my first challenge and I don’t think it’s working for me weighing daily seems to be discouraging me because I’m still on plan but haven’t lost in 2 days and if I waited a week I wouldn’t have known I stayed the same weight lol8

Could you do the 10 day weigh in only weighing at the start and the end? Maybe just keep a track day by day of what you’re doing, I myself am prone to water retention so it can take a few days and then it will drop off however I still like to weigh daily as I know it does come off.7
