    🎀10/25 - 178.4 - An early weigh in, but I'm certain this is true. An impromptu day out with a friend threw me off of my normal pattern. Did not drink enough water. Did not drink my electrolytes. Ate POPCORN. I bought some popcorn kernels to pop corn for my husband. WHY did I eat 2 cups of popcorn? I don't even eat corn or grains. So I deserve this temporary gain.
    🎀 10/26 - 178.8 - Even though my weight dropped to 176.6 , don't forget who I am. Super Spongebarb. Lol. It will come back down. I looked back over the past 2 weeks of my diary and I've had more than a few days eating less protein than I should. Gotta correct that.
    🎀 10/27 - 177 - better on carbs and water, protein in target?
    🎀10/28 - 178.4 - All macros over settings yesterday. I do not fast Friday through Saturday.
    🎀10/29 - 178.2 - Salt water flush today. Drank it an hour ago, nothing yet. 😦 Lol. My husband went to a friend's house yesterday to watch the football game and brought food home. He sits a plate covered in foil next to me and walks away. I thought it was for him to eat later. I look under the foil, 3 big cookies. I laughed, told him no thanks and put them in a sandwich bag. Smh

    10/25 - 164.2 Great start, but I doubt it’ll last! We’ll see 😃 Headed to the doctor soon to have my blood pressure measured for 24h. My pulse and bp has been acting up like crazy when I exercise, so I had to have a careful exercise week. Going to the gym tomorrow, but will probably have to take it a bit slow :smile:

    10/26 - 163.8 (-0.4) Wow, this is great! Lower number two days in a row, didn’t expect to be losing this soon after my last woosh. Awesome! Getting closer and closer to my “goal” everyday. The 24h blood pressure thing is horrendous 😂 It has only managed to measure me standing up 1 time.. Wish there was like a button on it that I could press, so it would measure when I actually stand up and have symptoms.

    10/27 - -- Took this day off logging and mfp for the first time in 4 months :smiley:

    10/28 - 164.2 (+0.4) No wonder, since I took yesterday off :smiley: I had my regular food and I ate some candy on the side for the first time in 4 months. So I basically had one cheat meal. I'm back on track again and logging. Feeling more hungry today, but that's probably because I ate more carbs yesterday. I'm under calories for today and will continue under calories for the rest of the week.

    10/29 - 164.2 (--) No change today :smile: Yesterday was fine, but like I said.. I was so hungry! Weird how your body craves more and more carbs when you eat a little more carbs than usual one day. I'm very happy that I have self control. Earlier I couldn't eat candy/cake/sweets etc one day without falling completely off and continuing to eat sweets like a crazy person, so I'm happy that has changed :smiley: This journey is about so much more than just the weight loss..

    Goals for R57 & beyond:
    Food ~~ finish elimination phase of dietitian-designed anti-inflammation diet and begin reintroducing foods. Calories <1300.
    Exercise ~~ 60-90 minutes 5-6 days/week of walking/swimming; weight training 3 days/week.
    Weight ~~ stay below 135; eventually hit 130.

    Sunrise this morning was spectacular! I'm looking forward to a nice walk on the river greenway. Then I'm off to the dr's office - I was pruning a rose yesterday and it fought back.     I had a pretty good workout in the garden yesterday moving two big rose bushes, three daylilies, and three hostas, and planting some mini irises I got free a while back. It rained all night and is still raining, so everyone is nicely watered in. I'm hoping to put in some bulbs this afternoon or tomorrow. One of my favorite ways to spend a fall day - and a drop on the scale is a nice reward!

    10/28 - 134.6 - 1104 - 10-day ave 1278
    Woohoo! Last day of my elimination diet! Tomorrow I start adding things back, one by one, starting with eggs. Based on lingering pain, I don't know that it's done much for my inflammation - blood work tomorrow will tell us more - but I have lost 6.5 pounds in the 6 weeks (not bad this close to my UGW) on a macro ratio of 55-60% carbs (mostly veggies & fruits with some rice, oatmeal, & legumes), 20% protein, & 20-25% fat. I haven't felt particularly deprived, but I am looking forward to adding eggs, peppers, tomatoes, peanutbutter, and muesli!

    Busy day today, beginning with a blood draw for me to see if inflammation is down, and a leg x-ray for my doggy girl to see why she's limping intermittently (which we fear is linked to her liver nodules and enlarged lymph glands). She was most unhappy about going to THE BACK ROOM with the tech. :-( But I'm happily beginning the next phase of the food sensitivity testing, beginning with eggs! I added egg whites to my oatmeal this morning and look forward to an omelette for lunch. Sometimes it's the little things!

    We're headed for 64 degrees F today so I'm planning to go for a nice walk this morning and plant a bunch of bulbs this afternoon, then painting class tonight. Life is good!

    @quiltingjaine you’re right! Candy + restaurant foods like pizza and McDonalds are definitely the culprits for my gain! I’m back down now after eating a few days back at home.
