    @FarmerCarla I would try that if I could lay flat. The cramp starts in my ankle so my foot is bent as if I’m wearing a high heel and quickly moves up the calf and my knee is bent so I can’t walk at all. I’m taking OTC potassium and magnesium twice a day but want the doctor to do blood work to see if I should be taking more.

    @quiltingjaine, so good to see you! For me, something non-intuitive works for Charley horses. I flex my toes up toward my knee (the opposite of pointing them) as hard as I can and that seems to relax something for me. Before I knew this, I had a horrible day once where I had this low-level Charley horse for a couple of hours. It took me days to stop feeling the pull in that muscle. Awful! I hope you are able to figure something out soon!
