What are some of your unpopular opinions about food?

- I'm sure this isn't very popular, but I stopped buying peanut butter because I've had to throw away half-eaten (small) jars a year later.
- I haven't had a donut in 5 years and not even tempted to have one.
- I'm done trying to like steak.
- I can't understand how people like bacon.
- I can only eat chicken if it's skinless boneless breast - the least popular choice among those who like chicken.
- Ramen is a perfectly fine, delicious, and filling choice for a meal, not just a last resort.
- Anything in coffee ruins coffee. No sugar, no cream, no flavorings, no fancy Starbucks style drinks.2 -

All fake "cheese" dust crackers are icky. So is "cheese" in a can and American "cheese" and the V word.
Now a nice slice of white cheddar on a cracker with a slice of apple? Hand over the whole *kitten* tray.
american cheese is just orange rubber. I don't understand it.4 -

As a kid I hated peanut butter. I discovered the peanut butter that is just peanuts and salt as an adult and liked it well enough but stopped buying it because I prefer other nut butters (and rarely have nut butter at all since I prefer nuts whole).Anything in coffee ruins coffee. Mostly agree, except on occasion I like it with milk -- latte no sugar as a dessert. I also like coffee and milk for breakfast when traveling in Europe.
The rest of your list I can't go along with! ;-)1 -

Definitely like Cookie Butter more!2 -
Gazpacho is one of my favorite soups, and so is a cold potato and leek (or the version with watercress). Would not have those in the winter, though.
Stew in the summer is weird, and also one of my favorite things about this time of year.4 -

I'm not usually much of a KitKat person, but these are amazing!3 -

Me too!
Can't wait to try this one
I'll eat thick crust pizza (usually like the ones with the cheese inside the crust), but generally I prefer thin crust.3 -

This is not something I'm really exposed to as a vegan, but before...:

I don't think it's quite THAT bad but I don't like it much, either. When people post on MFP about eating their oatmeal plain or with just some sugar/sweetener it makes me want to gag. It reminds me of wet cardboard texture and has very little flavor. I do eat it, usually with a spoonful each of peanut butter and jam. But without at least that much to flavor it...no thanks!1 -

I HATE cilantro! It takes like dirty feet. When I order a bowl at Chipotle, I order it with plain white rice. They hate me there.0 -

I could probably sit down with a container of feta and a spoon and polish off the whole thing. It absolutely does have a nose wrinkling smell and I really don't know why it appeals to me so much. Chicken gyro with extra feta, please!3 -
I won't eat anything that is billed as a salad that isn't an actual salad: i.e. pasta salad, fruit salad, potato salad...3

I've always loved American cheese.5

Celiacs is a valid reason to avoid gluten and there is a sensitivity that some people have, but the numbers are low:
https://www.healthline.com/health-news/is-non-celiac-gluten-sensitivity-a-real-thing-041615#1
While celiac affects just 1 in 133 Americans, more than 10 times as many people shun bread, baked goods, crackers, and soy sauce because of the gluten they contain.
...
In the gap between people for whom gluten prompts the body to turn against itself, and those who mistakenly think the protein is bad for them, sits a third group of people — estimates range from 0.6 to 6 percent of Americans — who suffer from non-celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS).
So somewhere between less than 2% to maybe 7% of people actually have a reason to avoid gluten. But look how successful the woo peddlers have been at making people think they should go gluten free:
In a 2014 Consumer Reports survey, 63 percent of participants said they felt following a gluten-free diet would improve physical or mental health.15 -
I really like Hawaiian pizza I don't care how inauthentic that makes me.
Same! We were ordering Hawaiian pizza before Hawaiian pizza was Hawaiian pizza! I remember my mom, back in the 80's calling Pizza Hut and requesting a Canadian bacon pizza with pineapple added. I still love it to this day! If I'm feeling "healthy" I'll add green peppers!8 -
Kashi cereal is like chewing cardboard. Shredded wheat is like eating hay. Grapenuts are gravel in (barely) edible form.
Golden Grahams all the way! Chex are also acceptable, but not wheat. Corn or rice (or a mix of both). But regular serving sizes of any cereal are pitiful, so I usually don't eat it.
Agreed. Corn Chex are IMHO the best of the plain ones. The cinnamon or chocolate ones in milk with a cup of tea is a great light dessert. Though the flavored ones are expensive for such a small box, so I wait for a sale!
I buy the generic Malt-O-Meal bag version of Cinnamon Toast Crunch... yummy! With milk, without milk, it doesn't matter! And it lasts a while.
My dad ate Grape Nuts when I was a kid. I never understood it.
Hot with honey, or mixed into Greek yogurt is the ONLY way to eat Grape Nuts.2
