11/14 - Wednesday - 177.6 - I still find myself typing 19X when going to record my weight. My brain cannot fathom that I'm in the 170's! I had a crackpot goal to be 175 before thanksgiving but that seems pretty extreme given its a week away and the end of this round is a day after thanksgiving - yikes! Okay, considering that I think I'll actually aim to maintain this round. Finding a balance between enjoying my favorite holiday guilt free and not binging for the entire weekend. Fortunately, we are going out this year, so I wont be totally tempted by all the leftovers - but we will probably cook a bird and make some soup over the weekend. I'm committing NOW to next round as to not let myself slip into holiday regression. Last night I overindulged a bit so scale may be up a bit tomorrow. Desperately need to go to the grocery store and stock up on healthy options again. Been basically cleaning out the cupboards for the past week!
11/15 - Thursday - 176.8 - Been visualizing that 176! Solid morning, fish oil, smoothie, packed lunches, snacks, and got dinner on deck with a chicken teriyaki salad! Weather has me feeling especially dry and dehydrated so I'll focus on water today. Probably working from home tomorrow so I planned to make extra dinner to have for lunches tomorrow so we're not tempted to order out or snack our way thru the day at home. Went grocery shopping and have a good plan to get us thru the weekend fed with yummy, home cooked, whole foods. Been craving Zuppa Toscana so making a copy cat!

@ghy5 when I have snowed in days or terribly cold weather I go onto YouTube to look up different exercises I can do. It's fun finding new workouts and easy to search for your fitness level. There are even walking videos to help with your steps when you can't go out!! Just a suggestion.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.

I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. On the other hand when I look at the big picture and the averages it has been a consistent loss except for two rounds. Round 53 was my 50 birthday celebrations that upped my weight for a few days.

I need to step up my game if I want to meet any of my goals.

Basically wasted the last round by fluctuating up and down instead of focusing on a proper downwards tread. Will stay focused this time. I HAVE to reach the 170s this time. I am determined. No more dilly-dallying.

11/14- 182.9- I think this loss would have been even more if it weren't for the birthday cake I had yesterday for my dad's birthday lol. But I did well overall. I'm not mad. And will do better today. Following the plan exactly tonight because there are no birthdays lol.

11/15- 182.6- I did really well last night. Now I just need to do that again tonight. I didn't have time this morning to pack anything except for a small sandwich until dinner but I have everything planned for dinner so it should be fine as long as I stick to it which I plan to. Don't want to go backwards again.

1. To be an inspiration to my 22 year old Autistic son who started his weight loss journey on May 1, 2018 weighing 308.4. His current weight is 276.2 .

2. Weight Goal this round: 175.6 (2.0 lb. loss)

3. No Bingeing (new attitude on food outside of my home and socially)

4. 20-50 Net Carbs Daily. 1277 Calories Daily.

5. 10,000 steps per day. Mixed modes of exercise.

6. Lots of water, green tea daily, apple cider vinegar before carby meals. Increase my fiber. Reach my protein goal of 80g per day.

7. Check my blood sugar daily for improvements.

11/14 - 177.2 Pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Movin’ on.
11/15 - 177.2 Getting house measured for carpet today. Also have floor installers here day 2 for utility room. They continue to prep cement floor for new flooring which will likely be installed tomorrow. I will probably miss pool and pot luck tonight. I do not have time to make a dish to pass & will not go empty handed. Opening day of rifle deer hunting in my area which will keep me very busy working. Most hunters arrived yesterday evening. Our very small town is full of hunters. I could not find a loaf of bread Anywhere in this town at 7:00 last night. I forgot to shop early. It will be hectic here through Thanksgiving weekend. I will do my best to stick to plan but grab & go is likely on some of these days. Uggg. I did manage to get in a little food prepping so that will help, but I’ve been trying to keep the house clean & uncomplicated because of all the different workers in & out. I really just want to get through this in the next few weeks.

11/14 - 252.2 - I put on a pair of size 20 jeans today!! They’re not the most comfortable ever, but they fit! And considering this summer I bought a pair of 24’s that are now falling off, I’m excited! 🎉🎉


Stayed under my calorie goal - tracked everything and made sacrifices to go over my step goal (walking outside during the kids gymnastics class, and biking to pick my daughter up from school)

20th Round for me: Female 65, height – 5’
Last round I spent wobbling between 160’s and high 161’s. I haven’t gone way overboard but my occasional “treat” seems to have become an everyday or even twice a day thing which would be ok for maintenance but is sabotaging any loss. So my goal this round is to dial that back and absolutely no LNS even if it is low calorie. I never skip meals and rarely have them at odd hours so there really is no excuse.
Round 59 – SW 161.2, Goal for this round (again) under 160.

Ultimate Goal Weight – 128; Hoping to be under 140 by end of June. This is less than 1 lb. per round but as I realize that may not be possible as I get lower (1 lb per round would put me at 131).

11/14 – 161.2 – Still here. Resisted ice cream last night but 3 corn thins before bed. Why did I need that? I had a good supper with lots of protein. The excuse in my head is always that “I can’t sleep well if I’m hungry.” The truth is that it is a lifetime habit - that I can break. Of course my stomach is hungry at night if I feed it almost every night!
