You all inspire me so much. This is it. This is why I started this thread, because there are days when we all need a little reminder of why we began this wonderful journey called weight loss. And you are all living proof that it can be done. It's going to take some hard work and elbow grease, but it can be done. It IS possible. Way to go, everyone! Keep up all the incredible work! You are all badass rockstars!8

I was in the blue striped shirt holding my dog. Christmas of 2016, weighing in at 325lbs... the 2nd pic was of me August 2018, weighing 210. First face pic was 03/01/17 2nd face pic was 08/2018. Since my 2nd pic I have continued to loose and am now at 184. I am just 36 lbs from goal. Here is to hoping for continued success89 -

I have been on my weight loss/fitness journey for 11 years now. This collage represents the ups and downs of the journey:
Upper left pic (pardon the snake shirt) - pre-weight loss - somewhere between 1999 and 2007 - my heaviest weight was 237 lbs.
Top right - Feb 2008 after I had completed my initial weight loss of 59 lbs to get to 178. This picture was taken when I got to meet Kae and Brian (B) from the 4th season of The Biggest Loser. It was so cool to figure out that our transformations had taken place over just about the same period of time in 2007.
Bottom left represents the 10 years between 2008 and 2018 - when I kept the weight off, (in that I didn't get back to my starting weight) but wasn't serious about my diet, and my weight fluctuated. The most I weighed in these 10 years was around 212.
Last two pics are from this year - today, actually. Diet is better and I have come to this point through doing HIIT cardio and lifting weights (including as many compounds as I can) - and my weight is 164.

What a difference 6 months can make. In May 2018, my doctor told me I was pre-diabetic...this got my attention! My wife and I started changing our eating habits, diligently logged everything we ate and 6 months later I am 40+ lbs down, feel better that I have in years and weigh less now than when I retired from the military in ‘03. I made the choice to change my life and there’s no going back. (Sidenote: my most recent blood work showed everything- including my decades long struggle with high triglycerides- within normal range!)

SW: 265lbs (Feb 2016)
Lost 110lbs (Jan 2017) and now maintaining for almost 2 years
CW: 157lbs (Nov 2018)
I was told by a friend recently "Your too thin, maybe you should go to the gym...."
I've been hitting the gym since Feb 2016, I know I'm not a muscular guy but I didn't think I was doing that badly...

You look great! Jeff Cavaliere of Athlean says it best - better to be lean, light and stronger and your current photo showcases this so disregard what others say. BTW, your starting photo looks like Bill Clinton before he made his own remarkable changes. Keep up the good work.

December 2016-May 2017 lost 80 pounds. Eat mostly Paleo and workout 5-6 days a week doing HIIT or body weight strength training. Gained a few pounds back this fall that I'm trying to work off plus 10-15 more to get to goal.
Great job everyone! 😊
