11/24 - 245.8..made cake and cupcakes for my sons birthday today, and got into the cupcakes. They were yummy! We're still both sick but excited for his party today. Definitely going to be another high calorie day, but I'm going to enjoy it and then get back on track tomorrow.

REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

11/24 151.2 I made a healthy Thanksgiving dinner, smoked turkey with dill mustard, antipasto salad with homemade sugar-free dressing, spinach with sun-dried tomatoes and pine nuts, no desserts, no potatoes, no gravy, no stuffing. Everyone in my family loved it that we got together to eat and didn't feel like crap afterwards. It was about the family enjoying conversation and not about the food. Nice.
11/25 150.4 I'm so very tired of being in the 150's! My son is bringing his girlfriend over for dinner tonight; He's requested an Italian dinner. I will go to the store to get spaghetti squash for me and my husband since we don't eat pasta anymore. I'll also cook just enough frozen yeast rolls for them. Italian food is my nemesis, so I have to plan way ahead for how to deal with it. I would love to dive into a plate of pasta and garlic bread but not going to do it.

Well I pretty much suck!!!!! As usual, did not finish last round, heck I even managed to gain 3 pounds!
My goal for this round is to finish the whole round by weighing and posting every day, good or bad. That’s it, that’s the goal! If I lose that’s great, if I gain, boo, but I WILL post everyday.

I know this little bump up is residue from excess calories on TG, so I'm watching but not panicking. MFP says my maintenance calories without exercise are 1380, and SailRabbit calculates it as 1318. Since I've lost so much, I'm guessing it's at the lower end, so trying to aim for 1250-1350. We shall see.

11/24 147.5 Thanksgiving binge (3 days worth!!) is in the past, I ate way too much junk but am not going to dwell on it. Today is a new day, started off well so far and hopefully will stay that way.
11/25 146.5 Hoping this doesn't go back up! I am sort of surprised because I went to a friends for football night last night and there was pina coladas and brownies. I did get some exercise in and plenty of water so I am sure that helped.

11/24 - 187.8 Down is always the right direction. Got over three miles in yesterday and stayed within calorie goals even with a half a piece of pecan pie! Thankfully the leftovers are all gone. I'm just happy to have made it through Thanksgiving without a gain. I have decided if the weather holds out I am going to try to get 50 miles in before the end of the month.
11/25 - 187.3 It ain't much but I'll take it, happily. I did not end up walking yesterday. I went to a funeral (step grandfather I didn't know well but needed to go for my step Mom who I love) and the chatting after lasted too long to get a walk in before dark. I have three hours before the snow starts, I am trying to talk myself into walking before the storm, but it's cold... Whining doesn't make me healthier just fatter. Ok I'm going dang you guys are tough on a girl!

11/24 DNW but back to tracking after the 6 day binge. So much for my good intentions!!!! Expect to be WAY up as I have been carb loading like a fool for some phantom event that I didn't do. Good news is I grabbed hold of the wheel and am back on track starting now, and the air quality is better, we have rain, and no more excuses for sitting on my butt!
11/25 151.8 That's about what I expected, did not stay on track yesterday but now all the sweets are gone, either eaten or in the trash, so I should be safe today. My gut has not been feeling appreciative of the rich food that it's had to process, so I am really ready for today and this week!

Here we are again. Looked over all my rounds and realized that I’ve only lost around 3 lb. total 😖 I’d lost about 4 lb. on MFP before joining this challenge. I feel like I’ve lost around 10 – which I have. I also gained 7. Have to be less complacent about it.
