Been working on my squat form for several months. The trainer observed my last set of 5 today. He said "You were parallel or lower on every rep". I still have to concentrate on getting down there, but it's getting easier.15

Last year I made myself a Christmas skirt and it fit perfectly. Today I'm taking it in by about two inches around the waist.
I need to learn how to sew, at least for basic things like taking clothes in. My very favorite dress is getting loose, as I haven't been at this weight in several years, and I don't want to give the dress up.
I hear that! I have some good quality shirts that are loose now. It would be nice if they fit properly.

Kind of a NSV, kind of a question, does it get any less sore sitting on seats after a while? I used to be very overweight and sitting on seats was uncomfortable because I stuck forward too far or found arms tight. But now my seat bones are getting sore. I'm in the middle of the healthy BMI range so not emaciated. Does this improve with time?12

I landed a new job in May and had to get a new suit for the occasional client meeting I would be attending. I haven’t had to wear it for maybe three months though, and after losing about 25 lbs I tried on the jacket because I have a client meeting tomorrow and it was a little - baggy. So that’s nice, but I wish I’d lost this weight before I shelled out $200 for suit pants/jacket20

Learning to sew was one of the things I'm so grateful I actually paid attention to at school. It's seriously saved me so much with me gaining and then losing weight. And the fact that I'm a shorty and love wearing trousers so it's always taking them up o'clock.5 -
I actually fit into a size 14 dress (US) and didn't even remotely look like an overstuffed sausage. I was pleasantly surprised! Bought it and am going to wear it for my date with hubby on Saturday!30

I find that it does improve a little with time. When I initially reached my goal range after losing 100+ I remember that being an issue for me. Not sure if it gets better or your body just adjusts to it, but 4 years later I don't notice it nearly as much. I remember the tight arms thing, it is weird to sit in a chair with arms and my own arms are no longer touching the arms, much less hanging over. I always thought at 5'8" with wide hips it was more because I was a big lady rather than my weight. It was my weight!11 -
Today I noticed a t-shirt hung from my chest without touching my stomach. It's always been the big stomach sticking out... I have no memory of the last time - if ever - that I experienced this. It was a brief moment that had a surprisingly emotional affect on me.36

Ha! No. It’s about a 115 lb difference. I went from about 370 to 230 from 2016 to 2017, but since then went from about 230 to 270 from 2017 to 2018, now down another 20-25 lbs since this summer.

I ran on a treadmill and didn't fall off. I am now confident enough to use a public gym.31

Depending on where you purchased them, some stores will do men's alterations for free when you change weights.4 -
Had my first person at work take note of my weight loss!26

I fit into my only pair of skinny jeans again! Just in time to rock them with a Christmas jumper!23

Dressing for a Xmas party tonight and pulled out a skirt from the back of the closet that I haven't even tried on for a while because it was too tight to zip. The dry cleaning tag on it was from March 2017! It fits again! Every time I want to cheat tonight I will just look down and remember why I'm doing this...23

My mom, who has always been loving but critical, came over last night to make Christmas cookies with my family. She gave me this weird look and said "gee I hope the clothes I bought you for Christmas fit. What size are you in now?" (In a good way as I'm smaller than she thought.)27

I tucked a shirt in today!!! Haven't done that in.........forever!!!30

I work in a hospital were we have to sometimes wear disposable isolation gowns. I used to have to tie the strips behind my back, but now I find that I can actually wrap those ties all the way around my waist and actually tie them together in the front! I think that's how they were originally designed.34

My husband told me he got something for me for Christmas in a size large but that when he opened it it looked like it would fit our 12 year old daughter. I told him not to send it back we would just give it to her. He showed me the T-shirt and I tried it on and it actually fit!35

I sat next to a friend at the movie theater without sitting on them or leaning away to give them room36

The thought just occurred to me that a year and a half ago I wore leggings as pants because I had to—nothing else fit except elastic stuff. These days I wear leggings as pants because I want to—dude they look good on me31

I finished baking 3 types of cookies, 3 types of breads, 1 cheesecake and 1 mousse cake over the past 3 days. I didn't exceed my calories in ANY of those baking days.36

I JUST now ventured into trying leggings-as-pants this week (largely because sick-as-a-dog, I didn't care what people might say and I wanted to be cozy and warm). I'd always been too afraid my legs were too chubby... to look good in leggings. For the first time, I was like, "Wow, my legs are getting shape. I see knees. Woah, these leggings... they... they look good on me!!"34 -
I like fitted sweater dresses and nice fitted sweaters. I bought my first ones in a size small, and I love them. Just enough to show curves, but leave stuff to the imagination as well.22

“Darn, that’s a cute dress, pity they don’t have it in a UK10. Eh, it’s a stretchy fabric, the UK8 will probably work.”
...yes. Yes, it will. Also, it seems like I’m finally getting the hang of eyeballing fit at my new size.
(Also, my style has changed completely. When I was a UK26 I was all about fite-and-flare dresses or tunics-and-leggings; nowadays I go straight for figure-hugging and bodycon. Mind you, all the BodyPump classes have started to give me a figure worth the hugging. Yup, the vanity is real! )27 -
I walked into Macy’s today and bought a pair of knee high leather boots. Not wide calf, no stretchy material inserts, just normal boots. They zipped right up over my jeans. At 62 years old, this is a first for me.39

I can now see the difference between boobs and stomach!!28
