Back again! Hopefully I can make up for December. I maintained which I guess is good, but didn’t lose much. I am looking forward to seeing that 140 decade this month.

Ok, I haven’t actually been taking part in this challenge for a while now
It was a very slippery slope last year, a lot of downs with very few ups!
So basically last year, I somehow managed to undone the year befores hard work. I gained almost all of the weight I lost back - literally just a few pounds less than my starting weight.
So I’ve decided to leave all that behind in the new year.
Starting from scratch … a complete new page.

I am back after taking last month off from the challenge and hitting my initial goal weight. After a week of vacation at the end of December, I am definitely up in weight, but it is already slowly coming back down. I have decided I want to go down another 5 lbs from my initial goal weight. Let's do this!

I’m hoping for a 7 lb loss this month. I plan on being a little stricter with my diet and doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred the first 30 days of the year and I have to start training for the half marathon I signed up for in September. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some bigger results!9 -

I have a little challenge going w/DDD and SIL starting the 1st. I am a walker...I've walked for years but have injured my foot. Doc has taken my walking shoes away until my foot heals. It could be months. uuggghhh! DH and I will start riding the recumbent bike that sits in the computer room covered with dust. **sigh** Still, I'm getting my exercise in and even tho it is not the same as walking outside in the sunshine or rain...I'm happy that I have an alternative. I also workout with our trainer three times a week.

Am assuming I’m not going to gain any more today. Although in reality I just may lol. I’ve been off the wagon for the last few weeks: not weighing & measuring my food, not logging what I eat, not drinking enough water. Have been drinking too much alcohol, eating too many cookies. My keys to stay on track, stay under 50 grams of carbs, drink lots of water, and workout/exercise 6 days a week for at least 45 min. When I hit those three items, I lose very successfully and also keep my diabetes totally in check. Onward and downward.
