My keys to stay on track, stay under 50 grams of carbs, drink lots of water, and workout/exercise 6 days a week for at least 45 min. When I hit those three items, I lose very successfully and also keep my diabetes totally in check. Onward and downward.

I started doing this challenge in October. This might sound weird but seeing everyone fluctuate and struggle really hammers it home that we are not alone on this journey. That celebrating our small victories gets us to the ultimate goal. Supporting each other through the frustrations and disappointments keeps us moving forward.
December was definitely a trip as we navigated the Holidays.
Let’s make January 2019 our month to crush it.8 -

I feel the same way! I find it oddly comforting that almost everyone struggles with it one way or another but through persistence and perseverance we can all get to our goals.
The "likes" & "hugs" keep me going and I hope keep others going, especially when the weeks show a gain.
When you're doing this alone, it's easy to feel defeated when you have a bad day or three or days when you gain for no reason. You've got nothing to compare it to or feel like you're doing something wrong and that you're the only person who just can't get it together. But when you are in challenges like this one or another one I'm in where we weigh daily, you see that almost every single person goes up and down and has bad days and as long as you stick to your plan, you can make it.
It's so interesting to see the micro journey of everyone. Day by day or week by week, you see the successes reveal themselves, some fast but most not. It's taken away my impatience for fast results. It's really opened my eyes to see that 2, 3 or 5 pounds per month really can add up to huge losses over a year.6 -
Happy New Year everyone! Here's to a year with many successes.
