@Winner_in_Life One more day of this challenge.
What can you do to make it brilliant?
I'm donating some unused clothes to charity👗👚👖👙
As you will see, I am far from brilliant. I already started to sort out my clothes too I am going to leave only one pants to remind me from time to time where I was. May be I will post my photo in next round5 -

14/01 Very active weekend, 30000 steps, 2 hours of Rowing, Strength Training and some Yoga. Ate reasonably well. Not aching quite as much this week so hopefully start to see some of my calorie deficit reflected on the scale at some point.
15/01 Up early to go to the work gym this morning before rowing around 6.5km on the nice calm waters of the River Lee. Goals for today are to get some yoga done before bed and to make sure I go buy lunch for the rest of the week from the supermarket, not the deli next door that I have to call in to, to talk about a raffle prize - wish me luck with my willpower!
16/01 Over my calories again yesterday (but in a deficit still) as I was ravenous from rowing/weight training. I have Pole Class tonight and will be walking in/out of walk, which is about 7km altogether, so a reasonably active day ahead. Dinner is in the fridge ready to be re-heated.
17/01 2nd Pole Class over and done, felt far less clumsy and a bit more composed, still had to modify some of the exercises but I'll get there eventually. Shark Week is on it's way so feeling rather bloaty, going to try and cut down on added sugar a bit in the next few weeks, not because there's anything wrong with sugar, just need to curb some calories and that's the easiest place for me to cut it from at the moment. I was out for another row this morning which was lovely especially with the crisp clear sky and sunrise. Goal for today is to stay under maintenance and do some yoga.
21/01 I was away at the weekend, with the exception of portion control which wasn't too bad , I had little input to what I was eating, I have no idea what the calorie intake was in the slightest and haven't been able to weigh so no idea what my true trendweight is, I do know based on the few entries I do have for the last 10 days I've crept back into Obese Class II which I am not happy about so having a quiet word with myself today and trying to get my eating habits back under control again, I don't want to end up back where I started in 6 months time!10 -

@krea4 @puttyputty – This was emotional eating. I had a slight touchdown with another car which was parked on the side of the street. Just tried to make some space for a bus. Nothing serious. Obviously excessive eating didn’t help to solve the issue

Start Weight on 1st Jan '19
Starting - 158.50lb
End R64 - 154.90lb - Down 3.60lb
Into it properly this round! Went swimming today and they were running a free NHS health check. Blood pressure, LDL, HDL and total cholesterol and my blood sugars were all well within the "excellent" range and they gave me a heart age of 40 and a less than 1% risk of a heart attack in the next 10 years so I was very happy with the results. Only thing I hit amber on was my BMI which I knew and it annoyed me being the only marker not in green! So feeling fired up to get it back into the green. Also booked our summer holiday this week so a bit more motivation there!
R65 goal - will be happy with 1.50lb a round - so 153.40lb is my target...
01/12 - 154.90
01/13 - 153.60 - down 1.3lb - just from having a proper controlled day and a bit of exercise (swimming yesterday - about 40 minutes) - Sunday today so a bigger dinner (albeit within calories) but all good so far
01/14 - 152.10lb down 1.50lb. Can't remember the last time I had a loss over a weekend so happy about that! Onwards and downwards..... Exceeded my round goal already so now aiming to just keep losing - difficult to set targets when only just back into it properly as losses are normally accelerated so as long as the weight keeps coming off then its all good. Good day planned today, dinner already in the slow cooker - Love the feeling of being back in control
01/15 - 151.30 down 0.8lb so -3.6lb this round so far. I know this can't carry on at this rate but certainly a great boost to start me off. My day is planned food wise so I'm happy Still have my end of round goal as to lose a bit more and keep heading down!
01/16 - 151.20 down 0.1lb - a tiny drop today. Not unexpected that it will start to slow. But I know I was on plan yesterday but did have more carbs in my dinner last night than I would do normally (and feeling bloated today as a result!) so possibly just due to that. All good though
01/17 - 151.80 up 0.6lb ????? no idea, not as a result of my calorie intake so not worried. Guess my body adjusting to the pretty large weight loss over the last week... Watch this space as they say
01/18 - 150.80 down 1.0lb since yesterday and back to an overall drop - not sure what the last few days was about but hey ho! Goes to show how peoples weight can vary daily even when "being good" . Lost 4.1lb this round so far so very happy and with the weekend approaching if I finish on this on Tuesday I'll be happy - lose a bit more I'll be even happier! Nothing out the ordinary this weekend so no reason not to stay totally on track although need to ensure I drink enough as that's my usual weekend downfall
01/19 - 150.4lb - down 0.4lb - forgot to log in here and update!
01/20 - 149.90lb - down another .50lb and back under 150 so very happy about that. Sunday evening is always a big Sunday roast dinner night (even though within calorie allowance) and we always have a dessert which I don't normally have - so not unusual to see the scale up on a Monday but here's hoping ... Will just try and eat a little less I guess ? Although will still have my normal glass of red wine with dinner - my weekly treat!
01/21 - 149.60 down 0.30lb - SSSOOO happy with this - a weekend and a loss! Goes to show what I can do when I set my mind to it I guess even despite our full on Sunday roast dinner last night. I made a real concerted effort to eat a bit less but still had dessert but never got round to a glass of vino. Yay All on track for a good day today too and a string finish to the round tomorrow ....

01/21 151.2 Monday Just realised i'm into the 10 stone bracket not sure how I missed that woo. Second goal of getting into the 140s coming up, I love mini goals! Continue with green tea, 15/9 intermittent some 16/10 if can manage, yoga and calorie counting. Yoga complete this morning really love it and last night i installed a 30 day challenge(belly fat) I managed sit ups for the first time in years. Cheered on by sons! They had pizza for lunch I took one tiny slice to bed with my book later and enjoyed every mouthful! Mindful eating is the way for me!

Hello!
I'm joining a little late here, but I like the idea of a challenge to keep me on track.

01/14 - 188.6 lbs - First day, first weigh in
01/15 - Can't remember, but it was less than first day
01/16 - Can't remember, but it was less than first day
01/17 - 185 lbs - This sticks out in my memory! lol
01/18 - 185.6 lbs - Alright, TMI, didn't poop previous day lol
01/19 - 185.6 lbs - Didn't really expect it to drop. Did my first 5 minute workout in ages, and did lots of dancing around the living room with my toddler daughter.
01/20 - I can't remember. I was hungover. Stuck to calorie target all day though and didn't give in to urge to eat junk food to recover!
01/21 - 186.4 lbs - Expected this as I had been drinking on Saturday night. Am expecting a drop tomorrow.
01/22
Result of round 65: -X.X lbs
I am on plan still. I made sure I was prepped for the week by making some low cal popcorn, sugar free jelly and there is a beef stew in the slow cooker for tonight. Also made my ham sandwich for lunch this morning. All accounted for and tracked in MFP already.

SW: 236.8 ~ UGW: 180
JANUARY GOALS: Lose 10 pounds and 3 inches
01/13 ~ 223.0 @ 8:00am - Off to a good start!
01/14 ~ 222.2 @ 6:00am – yayyy, but also kinda skeptical ~ I keep looking over my shoulder for all the chips this weekend, lol ~ I did however, SLEEEEP for a solid 10 hours which I haven't done in months. Have a great week Fit Fam!!
01/15 ~ 223.8 @ 6:45am - been eating pretty lightly past few days so hoping it's just remnants from a heavy meat dinner last night. Ate and went to bed late, so thinking my body didn't have enough time to "clean sweep" so to speak. If I'm right should see a drop tomorrow. 🤞
01/16 ~ 223.0 @ 6:45am - 🙏 ~ back on track, but uuggghhh can still feel and see it in my belly. And even though was well within calories, all those Terra Blues Chips and red meat the past few days have turned into a 2-day set back and another lesson learned. Will definitely think twice next time!
01/17 ~ 219.0 !!!!! @ 5:30am - almost fainted.
01/18 ~ 218.8 @ 6:00am Horribly stressful day yesterday and another rough day ahead ... alcohol is an "absolute" certainty this evening.
01/19 ~ DNW or log or do anything nutritionally productive.
01/20 ~ 218.0 @ 11:30am - glad to see .... have been helping extended family sort a personal crisis the past few days and feeling a tiny bit run down. Yesterday I had to unexpectedly shop for, clean cook and help host a get together for 10 until 3:00am. Today will be 3 days without working out and my IF schedule is completely shot!! Going to need rest of the day to get back in the swing of things.
01/21 ~ 217.8 @ 5:00am
01/22 ~
Have a great week all!10 -
Round 61 11st 12lb (-1 lb)
Round 62 11st 11.6lb (-0.5lb
Round 63 11st 11.8lb (+0.2lb)
Round 64 11st 8.0lb (-3.8lb)
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 11st 8.0lb No change today, but slightly earlier weigh in. Looking for similar loss this round if possible.
01/14 11st 8.2lb Later weigh in, not that it's done me any favours. Had less than allowed MFP calories yesterday. I was going to go for a walk today but the weather looks miserable outside. I really need to reset my bedtime and getting up time so that I start having normal days again.
01/15 11st 8.2lb No change to weight. I went to bed 3 hours earlier than yesterday, but it didn't help that much as I couldn't sleep for ages even though I'd fallen asleep on the sofa for an hour before I went to bed. Was restless much of the night. Despite coming in at less calories again and actually getting out yesterday for the walk I still haven't had a loss. Disappointed.
01/16 11st 8.2lb Still no change. I ate slightly under calories again - my trend weight is not looking good at all.
01/17 11st 7.6lb Finally a 0.5lb loss which takes me just 0.2lb lower than I was 10 days ago. Oh well, no one said this was going to be easy! I'd like to be at least 1.5lb lower this round.
01/18 11st 7.4lb Earlier weigh in than usual so I'm happy with a 0.2lb loss. Hoping to keep to this earlier weigh in as I'd only be fooling myself if I waited another couple of hours, and besides, I want my breakfast!
01/19 11st 7.4lb. No change, but that's ok. Was expecting a bit of a loss as I got out and walked yesterday but so long as I don't gain I'm happy.
01/20 11st 7.0lb Late weigh in but I'll accept this as correct..tomorrow might disagree!
01/21 11st 7.0lb Early weigh in so happy with this. I moved the scale and it showed higher so I moved it back again!

Didn’t quite hit 10000 steps though but will make up for it today. I’m so excited. That’s 17lbs in 19 days. 👉💪🏃🏼♀️😇😎 This challenge is just what I need. It gives me a lot of accountability and I love reading what everyone has been doing.

SW: 201
GW: 150
Round 64 SW: 199.3 (-1.7)
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 – 199.3 – same weight as yesterday. I logged all food, walked 3 miles, but also ate the extra calories, drank all my water, and no alcohol.
01/14 – 198.7 – YEA! Didn’t walk yesterday but stay below my calories. No alcohol for the whole weekend.
01/15 – 198.6 - Had Mexican and a beer last night, but wasn’t too far over the my goal. Still recorded all food, walked, and drank my water.
01/16 – 198.6 – Yesterday was good – logged food, walked, drank water, and no alcohol. Now the tough part. I’m traveling for the next few days. No scale and need to stay strong.
01/17 – so scale today (not at home), but I did record all my food and didn’t have any alcohol. Walking wasn’t a lot, but a some and I should have drunk more water.
01/18 – still no scale, but I did record all my food. Minimal walking and one glass of wine.
01/19 – still no scale (tomorrow I’ll know), but I did record all my food. Minimal walking again and two glasses of wine.
01/20 – 196.9 – lost 1.7 pounds! YEA! I even went over a little yesterday on calories but did record everything. Had a glass of wine, but walked 3 miles.
01/21 – 197.6 – went up a little, but I was expecting it since I went out for dinner last night and had a beer. I still walked and recorded food though.
01/22.

Committing myself for the next ten days! Good luck everybody.
SW- 220.6
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13- 220.6- Been doing well with moderating my alcohol intake for the last week and monitoring food. Also I have been making an effort to stay fairly active. Today I am aiming to not snack and to get a long walk in later with the dog. Good luck everybody X
01/14- 220.0- A good day yesterday, been out walking for 2 hours this morning though because I was pushing a buggy the Fitbit didn't log all the steps. It's a low calorie day today, feeling very in control at the moment X
01/15- 221.0- yesterday was very successful, 15,000steps and stuck to my calorie goals, hopefully the scales will show the drop tomorrow. Today I am aiming to stay under 1500cals, not many steps but il make up for it tomorrow x
01/16- 219.4- Yesterday I ended on about 1900cals which is 400cal more than what I was aiming for, I stayed up too late and then snacked when I really should have gone to bed. Today is a low calorie day, plenty of walking, just done a food shop so I'm set up for success for the next week X
01/17- 219.0- Going in the right direction, I smashed through yesterday's goals and when I got tired I actually went to bed instead of grabbing the nearest sugary snack. Today I would like to stay under 1500cals and get some housework done. It's chilly outside but I will be focusing again on steps tomorrow X
01/18- 218.2- I stayed under my calorie goal yesterday, I feel like I made good use of those calories aswel. Today is a fast day, I will be getting my steps in nice and early X
01/19- 217.6- Well yesterday's fast turned into 1800cals (and not on the right kind of food)...but I am retrying today, I know they say to write off failed fasts and just carry on with your next planned one but I feel like fasting fits in well with my plans today so I'm happy to do it today instead. Another little drop on the scales this morning, all adding up X
01/20- 217.0lb- yesterday's calories were just slightly over goal which I was happy with but on the step front I did terribly! Today we have a very rare child free day, using it to sort out the kitchen cupboards and touch up the walls downstairs, fun fun fun, have a good day all X
01/21- 216.2lb- did well yesterday, low calorie day today, already got in my 10,000steps :-) X

My tax season starts this round which means I'll be working weekends and roughly 12 hours a day. Clients bring us goodies and the owner of the CPA firm often buys us lunch and dinner. I'm going to use this round to figure out exactly how to maintain my weight while being tempted by donuts, cookies, pizza, etc. It's almost as bad as the holidays!
R65 SW: 145
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 - 144 - I'm very surprised! Due to my sodium yesterday and today, I'll bet it goes up tomorrow, but I'm very happy today. I've also got my lunch and healthy snacks packed for tomorrow.
01/14 - 146 - Here's the sodium! I'll be drinking plenty of water today.
01/15 - 147 - Wow, I did not want to post this, but facing this is what has kept me on track the last 8 months. My daughter stopped by last night so I had an extra glass of wine with her and I ate leftovers from Sunday for dinner, which did not help with my water weight. I have supper plans with my my golf league tonight at an Italian restaurant, so tomorrow is probably not going to be any better. But, it is my last night out with the ladies until tax season is over in April, so I'm going to go and enjoy myself. I'll just have to work really hard this next week to get my weight back down.
01/16 - 146.5 - I had a great time last night and managed to stay just under maintenance calories for the day.
01/17 - 145.5 - I slept well last night and got plenty of water yesterday.
01/18 - 145.5 - I did not sleep well last night. We've got a winter storm hitting my area tomorrow and my car started flashing a check engine light along with traction control failure lights on the way home last night. I can't take off work today because of tax season so I drove in this morning with the lights. I've got to work some hours tomorrow before the storm hits, so I'll have to juggle dropping off the car at the garage and borrowing my husband's car to drive in to work. My daughter and her boyfriend are driving south to WV to see an indie rock concert this weekend, so I'm a nervous wreck about them driving through this storm. These are the types of triggers that can cause me to stress eat, but I'm more aware of them now and as many of you have said, eating is not going to fix anything. I hope all of you have a good weekend!
01/19 - 145 - I did not stress eat yesterday! My daughter elected not to go to WV due to the weather and the mechanic should be able to fix my car this morning while I'm at work. I'm going to work a few hours and try to get home before the snow hits our area.
01/20 - 146 - I did not have enough water yesterday. We stayed sitting by the fireplace most of the late afternoon and evening watching the snow and enjoying some coffee and wine.
01/21 - 146.5 - I'm paying for my lazy Sunday. If only white-knuckle driving through inches of snow burned calories I would be down a couple pounds for tomorrow. Oh well, I made it to work this morning and I'll try to drink all my water and get back to weight loss calories.
01/2213 -

Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 - 240.4...better but still not where it should be. Went to the gym again last night and did 30mins on the treadmill and 20mins on the elliptical..had 130oz of water, which is 30oz over what I normally aim for and I was at about a 1000 calorie deficit.
01/14 - 240.0...I really don't get why I'm fighting my way back into the 230's..I didn't do anything to push myself out 😡 Did 30mins of walking yesterday, had 100oz of water and was at about a 1200 calorie deficit.
01/15 - 240.0...no exercise or water yesterday and I ate horribly.
01/16 - 241.0...another horrible eating day, very little water and 30 mins of shoveling heavy water soaked snow.

01/21 - 246.2...knew that was coming, haven't weighed in days and have been eating anything and everything (mostly junk and takeout) and I don't remember the last time I had a glass of water (it's been days). I feel like I'm in mourning and I kind of am I guess. My sons father has stayed at my place for the last year, even though he has his own place and it was a mix of good and bad. He helped out a lot with our son, he always did the dishes and I was able to go back to bed some mornings and he would get our son ready for daycare...that was all good. The bad was that he has mental health and addiction issues and ADHD...constant over use of medication, always lying, wasted all of his money, and it felt like I had a second child to take care of and it was very stressful. In the year that he was here we acted in every way like a couple but both of us would say that we were not together. So last week we decided it was best if he went and stayed at his place from now on and I've been out of sorts ever since! And not because I feel like I want to be with him now, I definitely know I don't, but because I'm now doing most things alone...my son is 4 and has spastic quad cp so he's not able to sit, stand, walk or talk and needs a lot of care...he is the happiest kid you'll ever meet though. Also, all of my friends and I have grown apart since having my son and my mother is away on vacation right now, so I really have no support or anyone to talk to and I'm feeling quite alone right now. My son is in daycare full time and I'm not working so I do get lots of breaks and me time, so I'm not complaining, just feeling sad 😞 sorry for the long rant!

Still pretty happy with that as I kept most of the whoosh from yesterday. Yesterday was under calories but also just under my steps. Start of the week though and it’s going to be a busy one. Hopefully some of my weekend prep will help make it a bit smoother.11 -
RSW 179.8 I worked too hard to get out of the 180"s to let this go on any longer.
1/13 178.2 partly water woosh, partly late weigh in - still a long way to go to get get back to my recent low.
1/14 177.6 more woosh! So many posts! It is great to have so many companions on the journey. Its a bit like a pilgrimage, except that when we get where we're going (Santiago maybe?) we will want to stay.
1/15 176.8 more woosh! lots of walking yesterday and lots of water.
1/16 176.6 So the woosh is done. Now it is time for the slow and steady. I will be attending Mass this afternoon and will remember this group in my prayers.
1/17 177 bounce! my kitchen is still in mid-reno, so it was pizza for dinner last night. I haven't been able to do detailed tracking but it has been kind of a nice break from that. I am ready to get back to it when I get my kitchen back.
1/18 176.2 This is especially nice as I was expecting a gain due to too many salted almonds. I have an event tonight - I will try not to get carried away.
1/19 175.8 Another nice surprise! I did well at my event but caved to LNS when I got home. Plan today is 2 hour open invite workout at DS TaeKwonDo school - if the weather does not get too bad. We are getting lots of snow this weekend. It has already started several hours sooner than forecast.
There are so many posts - I am having trouble keeping up - but I am very happy to see you all here.
1/20 DNW I am really proud of myself. I did the whole 2 hour Tae Kwon Do training. I was definitely the oldest and the heaviest person there - I was partnered with a lady who is more than 20 years younger than me, but I kept up with the class and did not need any extra breaks. I did have to modify some exercises as I don't have the flexibility for some of them. Afterwards my knees were a bit sore and I was very hungry - but I had fun (and did not embarrass DS1 too much). Last night DS2 was having a rough time so I was very late to bed and slept until noon today. So I missed church and my weigh in. Lots to do today -my new cupboards are installed in the kitchen - now I need to clean them and start putting things away.
1/21 176.4 Not surprising. We are still without fridge and stove, so living on convenience food, so over cals and sodium I am sure. Still a bit sore from Saturday's workout, but in a good way!

R64: -7lbs (207.8-200.8)
R65: SW 200.8 EGW: 196.x
1/13: 201.4 - up .6lbs from yesterday. Still pretty sick and miserable. Hit all my goals except steps and exercise. Still had 9k steps and hit my Fitbit calorie burn goal - moms never really get to rest
1/14: 201.2 - Still sick, hit all my goals yesterday except for dedicated exercise.
1/15: 201.6 - Yesterday, still sick, but getting better. Hit all my goals.
1/16: 200.8 - back to where I started the round. It’s a special type of mental torture hovering over onederland for so many days. Met all my goals yesterday. Feeling better except a lingering cough.
1/17: 200.6 - Yesterday, ate a chocolate muffin for breakfast but still stayed within my calorie goal for the day. Didn’t work out as hard as usual but still got in 1hr dedicated exercise. Only drank 80oz of water instead of my 100oz goal. I really wanted a glass of wine, but I resisted.
1/18: 200.8 - seriously?! Ate well yesterday, hit all my goals.
1/19: 201.2 - 🤬. Hit all my goals yesterday
1/20: Didn’t weigh. Hit all my goals, except we got a very rare date night, so I had wine. No regrets.

EW Round 64: 189
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 - 189.5- didn’t make the best food choices before bedtime. Bread at dinner seem to really mess with my morning weight. Also ate Ben and Jerry’s right before my eating time was over..
01/14 - 189.5 more bad choices. I need to keep track of food again. I was trying to do this without tracking but I need the accountability
01/15 - 187! I kept to my calories and NO SUGAR SWEETS!
01/16 - 186.5 loving this program. I’m not even hungry on off hours anymore!
01/17 - 188 hmm.. I actually didn’t eat enough yesterday and felt sick this morning. Not sure how this number came up. Won’t let it get me down. I hope to be at 185 by 1/22!
01/18 - 188.5?! Wth... maybe lack of water?
01/19 - 188 no clue, I drank a little more water but still feeling under the weather. But then again, I’ve been sleeping terribly- maybe that’s what’s causing it
01/20 - 186 alright, back on track 👍
01/21 - 187 ate some chocolate for the first time in a while.. wasn’t worth it!

Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 190 - I’m getting back into the swings of things again by cutting out sugar & processed junk.
01/14 188 - I’m starting the day out right with some black coffee & I'm looking forward to the gym this afternoon.
01/15 185 - This week & this challenge are starting out well. I’m very pleased! No gym yesterday as I feel run down, like I’m fighting a cold. I’ve decided to pay close attention to my eating & listen to my body.
01/16 185 - No change today but I am at least feeling a little better. I think the Zicam & rest are helping. I need to drink more water as I am relying on coffee & tea a bit too much during these last few cold days.
01/17 187 - Not sure what I did “wrong” other than more water yesterday but maybe a bit too much sodium .. time to tighten up a bit more & trust the process.
01/18 188 - Things are going the wrong direction because of some water retention but it’s not too late to turn them around!! Slow & Steady!
01/19 188 - Holding Steady ... not feeling my best but I won’t give up!
01/20 188 - No weigh in
01/21 191 - I’m owning this! I could give so many excuses but it’s just not necessary. I didn’t take care of myself this weekend & the scale shows. Tomorrow will be better!
01/2215 -
@MadisonMolly2017 I need a jumping up and down for joy emoji for you! WTG girl friend!!
@abowersgirl Yes, I definitely think we should look back 2-3 days for an unexpected gain or loss. I’m not even sure increased salt impacts me immediately. That is part of the reason I love these challenges - I’m tracking my food (most days) and my weight and I can look back and make the correlation.6 -

Goals for Round 65 -
* Under 1900 calories each day
* Track all food and steps
* Run 7 days above 2.5 miles
* Add 5 days of weight workouts
* Get to and stay under 200!!!
1/13 - 203.1 (1,387 calories, 10,692 steps): Solid day. Tracked all food. Stayed away from the dinner/night binge. A little too high on the carbs which showed blood glucose in the 140-150 range for long periods of the day. Did not workout so I need to improve there. Better things for today!
1/14 - 204.3 (way too high on the calories, and way too low on the steps): The dinner/night binge got me. I'll get it today. Going for a perfect day today! Good luck to everyone.
1/15 - 202.8 (~1,900 calories, 8,647 steps): Back in the right direction. Decent day. Need to get my treadmill game back on. Will try to get on it tonight or get a long walk in while waiting for kid's activities. Keep the momentum going.
1/16 - 200.7 (~1,600 calories, 17,564 steps): A good day. Got in a 30 minute and 50 minute brisk walk. Need to get back on the treadmill and hit the weights again. Received my A1C results which were 6.2%. My doctor will be happy, but I want to get it under 6. A new 3 month goal for A1C. Glad to see the scale go in the down direction. Good luck to everyone as we hit the hump of the 10 day challenge!!!
1/17 - 202.3 (did not track all calories, 11,417 steps): The slice of pizza got me! The one thing I was proud is that it was only one slice, and not 3-4. Keep on, keeping on. Here is to a good day for everyone!
1/18 - 202.9 (did a cheat meal, 9,417 steps): I was happy I did not turn the cheat meal...into a cheat day...into a cheat week...into a cheat month....and just giving up. I need to get on the treadmill. Going to make sure to work out all weekend. Love this forum because it keeps you accountable everyday and manages the ups and downs.
1/19 - 203.8: Blah on everything. Back at it today! Only a few days left in this round and I really want to hit that goal of under 200. Under 200 and stay there!!! Good luck to everyone this weekend. We got this!
1/20 - 202.5 (did not track calories, 4,622 steps): Okay day. Ate fairly well, but not a lot of movement. Need to get on that treadmill. I will do it!
1/21 - 203.9 (did not track calories, 9,122 steps): Got hit by the late night meal. Need to do better with managing eating late. On the positive, ran 2.5 miles on the treadmill. I want to finish this round strong! I am very happy that I am keeping my weight in the 200-205 quadrant. That has not slipped.13 -

OSW: 252
Round 65 SW: 216.4
1/13—216.6—Excellent. I was afraid yesterday's number was a fluke and that I'd bounce way high again. Yesterday, at the very end of round 64, I managed 31 push ups. I'm nearly 1/3 of the way to my end of year goal of being able to do 100 push ups in a single set. Losing more weight would likely help me with that goal!
1/14—219—Least shocking spike ever. I didn't eat well yesterday but had a true salt fest.
1/15—217—It'd be interesting to see where this number would be if I could stop eating salt-laden snacks. Bah!
1/16—218.4—I have no explanation other than a slightly earlier weigh-in. Huh! Still, I'm feeling pretty good.
1/17—218.2—Hmm hmm hmm. This round has been a puzzle. Work is very hectic right now, but I like being busy. I'm not eating terribly, but it's not spectacular either.
1/18—216.6—Back to the first day's weight. Yesterday, after I did another round of my push ups challenge, I realized that I had just done 100 push ups in around 10 minutes (they were staggered across 8 sets, with 1 minute breaks between sets). I'm getting close to my goal!
1/19—216—Still not a perfect eating day yesterday, but it was better! I've started a new 30-day Butt and Gut challenge. Not high-intensity but something to keep me doing some strength/core exercises every day.
1/20—216.6—The push ups challenge had me do 120 pushups in about 15 minutes last night. My arms felt incredibly weak after that! I went bowling this morning and I could feel some stress in my shoulders. I cut it short to be safe. But I bowled really well!
1/21—215.6—Excellent! This has been a nice round for me. I hope anyone in the US with the day off is able to spend it in refreshing and rejuvenating ways.

UGW 135

My goals this round- get to into the 160’s!!!!!!. Drink lots of water and make exercise a priority.
1/13-170 I got a good downward swoosh!!! I so badly want to get into the 160’s.
1/14-171 a swoosh up. Back in the day, in my 20’s I could pretty much lose a pound a day if I exercised and starved myself. Its a whole different ball game now!😂
1/15-171 Dinner out with the quilters, I made wise choices but it was salty. Non stop rain; the dogs and I want to walk.
1/16-170 Went to the movies; took my own popcorn with real butter and sea salt -absolutely rewarding. Today I travel to MIL’s for a couple of days; hopefully I can get out and walk and avoid all of the bread and potatoes that are there.
1/17-No Scale
1/18-No Scale
1/19-170 Whew! While I was gone, we ate pizza out and had pasta and French bread, usually I just throw in the towel and continue to eat like a pig when I get home. I stayed on track as best as I could and think I can hit the 160’s this round.
1/20-172 A swoosh up after good choices of salty lunch yesterday and not enough water. Tomorrow should be better.
1/21-168-Finally!!! A swoosh down and I am into toe 160’s! I am excited! I have not had time to exercise because I am packing to move, bu I am making wise food choices.

I am so glad you are all here!!!! Good luck!!!! 😊15 -
Round 65:
SW- 154 (but this is high)
Goal for round- <150
UGW- 135
Why these goals:
My body feels right. Clothes feel good. And the aches and pains seem to be kept at bay. I am able to complete much more when I am on point with my eating and exercise.
Obstacles:
Work stress is at an all-time high right now. I've got to take the time and prioritize my healthy lifestyle so that I can keep head above water and stay positive.
What I'm going to focus on to get to my goal:
1. Water- 64 oz/day minimum
2. Exercise- 30 minutes/day minimum
3. Food- Processed sugar and alcohol free.
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13- NWI. Sledding for exercise. Anxious eating (aka chips and large quantities). I think I had a glass of water.
01/14-154. Water retention from the various processed foods over the weekend. Walked with Leslie at lunch. Played racket ball with the boy last night. Sugar in the form of fancy chocolates and caramel popcorn made it into my diet. Net calories were 0. Water intake was fair.
01/15- 153.5. Still feeling bloated. Fingers feel like sausages. Morning workout with Jillian. Good eating day. No sugar/chips/nuts/alcohol. Net calories - 456. Water wasn't quite where I'd like, but better than what it has been.
01/16- 151. Bloat is gone. YAY! Now to stay focused. Morning workout with Jillian. Food was good. No sugar/chips/nuts/alcohol. Net calories: -200. A bit stressful at bed.
01/17- 153. What the heck?!? Took the morning off from exercise. Got to find some time outside today. Winter blues are setting in.
01/18-20 Lego State Championship. Out of element. Lots of driving and down time.
01/21- 156. Weekend away and the pounds stay. Typical since things were not on track this weekend. Exercise this morning. Food packed.

01/13 - 138.8 - 1683
I've decided to stop obsessing about calories, at least for this round, and to focus on macros (approx. 20% P, 30% F, 50% carbs, mostly veggies, fruit, and whole grains) plus exercise, meditation, fun, community, and sleep. Although I'd like to weigh about 10-12 pounds less, I'm at a healthy weight and feel good, so as maintenance or slow loss, I'm happy either way.
01/14 - 140 - 1706
Sodium yesterday, and not enough water. Back on track today.
01/15 - 139.2 - 1691
Yesterday was a good day. I was on track with food, although my macros were off (too much fat, not enough veggie carbs), and I had a great 90 minute workout at the Y - walking, weights, bike. I love the Precor video bikes - I rode up a mountain in the Italian Alps! I'm making gluten free crab cakes for lunch -- mmmmmm!
01/16 - 138.2 - 1701
That's better. I ate responsibly yesterday and did an hour+ on the bike.
01/17 - 139 - 1724
I'm sticking to my exercise program, but not so much to my calorie goals. I clearly reset my sugar cravings over the holidays! But I'm working on it....and today is a new day. Reset!
01/18 - 139.2 - 1969
Gaaa! I don't know what's wrong with me lately. Ate too much. It was all good, healthy food, just too much of it. Off to the gym, and stocking up on veggies for big snow that's coming tomorrow.
01/19 - 139.2 - 1532
We're snowed in today, so I'm planning house stuff - rearranging some furniture, cleaning, cooking....maybe a nap!
01/20 - 139.6 - 1736
It's MUCH colder today -- 14F, windchill -2. Glad I shoveled yesterday while it was in the balmy 20s! We're staying home, so I've spent the morning doing things I usually don't. Stay warm and safe, those of you also getting pounded by snow, ice, and c-c-c-cold!
01/21 - 139 - 1574
Even colder today - last time I checked it was -10F. But tomorrow it's going to be warmer! I'd really like to get to the gym today, but might stay home to write and paint (art, not walls). And to keep my kitten, Stirling, out of trouble - he's a real corker this morning!

@prehistoricmoongoddess I had to chuckle at moving the scale. My DH pushes ours toward the wall every day and I move it out and line it up, fairly precisely, with the floor tiles when I weigh. He doesn’t “get” it but then he’s never had a real weight issue.
@tlgale I started to write a couple of things but don’t know much about you. Do you have friends? You should get out and do something you enjoy. Do you read? Join a book club. Sew? Take a class. I belong to the local quilt guild although I don’t actually quilt. I do love to piece quilt tops and used to make all of my own clothes as well as those for our daughters. I’m getting back into that. I would just as soon be a homebody but my DH says he has to get out of the house every day so I go with him, even if it is just a short drive around town.
Would someone explain “Sunday roast dinner” for me? Is this a UK “thing?” And why is it always the explanation for a gain?5
