I'm super happy I lost 1.2lbs in the past week. Its such a struggle because I'm dealing with so much personal stuff.

    Nice!
I ended up being totally WIPED at work yesterday after my morning workout. I think I'm getting a sinus infection because it feels like I've been punched in the face. I stocked up on electrolyte water, and salty soups along with meds at the pharmacy last night, and I feel a little better this morning but will be avoiding the scale for a few days with all the extra salt I'm consuming. Tomorrow was going to be my rest day from the gym...but definitely rescheduling that for today and just trying to stay low-key at work, and keep functioning.

Is everyone in this group/discussion in Winter season right now? Ugh...I have a 4-year old so I feel like winter is constant sickness...

Hi, I'm 37 and have been trying to get back on track. It was so much easier in my 20's because I was a single career woman with absolutely no responsibility other than myself. By age 32, I was a married mother of 2! So my 30's consisted of me trying to figure out motherhood, giving a real go at my career, trying to stay healthy and fit and staying blissfully married. I managed to do 3 out of the 4, with me putting my health and fitness on the backburner. I seriously regret that. I now have 100+lb (50kgs).

But here I am, with many years of "knowledge" to help me now stay on track and lose the unrequired weight and get back to being the fit and healthy Gemima, like I was in my 20's. Lucky for me I have the MFP community, hubby, kids and my personal trainer to help me

Hi ladies. Iโ€™m 34. I had my babies at 28 and 29. When I was 30 I focused on my weight and fitness and was even a bit slimmer than pre-babies. Like I was in my early 20โ€™s. I honestly have never felt so attractive in my life. It was a combination of confidence that comes with age, feeling like โ€œmyselfโ€ again after kids. I still feel fantastic and I let my weight fluctuate by 5 pounds which allows for normal fluctuation and some cravings. Just wanted to comment that it is such a great time in life to get back to yourself. Good job ladies!!

    Hey all.

Just turned 32 ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฑ and the older I get, the harder it seems to lose weight and keep the motivation to do so going.
Would love to have others out there going through the same things to chat with for moral support, and I in turn will do the same. Anyone feel free to add me as a friend. Kate.xx

nearly 30 and trying to lose this stone I've kept with me the last 2 years.

    ADD me as a friend.

The girls at work have been eating McDonald's next to me last week and I managed to refrain.

So focussed now will be good to have some friends on here with me to get me to my bday a little bit lighter. : )

Hope you don't mind me messaging you hun...sent you a friend request but I'm still getting used to using the forum and stuff so atleast I think I did!lol

Dam I still haven't figured out how to add friends or become an official group member :(

I've just started the 5:2 diet today. Does anyone else do this or tried it and how did you find it?

Adding friends : click on their name. New screen pops up, click their name again. New screen that pops up should have the little "man with a + in his neck" should be there. Click that to add. It will say to type your full name and gives a place for a note as well. ๐Ÿ˜ happy adding!
Anyone who wants can feel free to add me as well...

    Hi yaโ€™ll!
Iโ€™m 34, going to be 35in July. Iโ€™ve been on a weight loss journey now since 2007. I was at my most 267 lb. itโ€™s been up and down. I got to 130lb and then went back up to 200lbs. Iโ€™m finally back at 160โ€™s. I go down a few pounds and when I see I lost weight I gain it back. So back in the saddle again. Iโ€™m looking for movation and support as I continue my journey and in turn give the same.

Hi, I'm with y'all. I'm trying to get back on track, well, actually get on track. I'm less than a week away from 30 and trying to kick it off with a bang. Going to try eating better and working out more. If anyone wants to add me as a friend and give/want support, go for it. I'm a great cheerleader for others but not for myself, for some reason.

It doesn't feel like I'm about to be 32 in April yet here we are. To be fair nobody believes I'm that old and I'm ok with that. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Trying to get it together and lose what I need to now because the older you get the harder it gets. However, seasonal depression is kicking my butt right now so any help and friends are welcomed!

I turned 34 at the beginning of this month. After two babies back to back and being a stay at home mom for a few years, I went to nursing school. I just graduated and realized I gained 25+ lbs over the past two years. Need to get back on track.

Iโ€™m down 11 lbs and Iโ€™m hoping to knee motivated and stay on track.

Good luck to all you ladies! ๐Ÿ˜Š

    We can do this!! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

Hi all! I turned 30 this summer and went back to work (special ed teacher) this fall after being a SAHM to my baby for nearly 2 years... I never really got back into health and fitness after having my baby but managed to maintain an okay weight... since going back to work I have put on ~7 lbs in just a few months... am now back to the weight I was leaving the hospital after giving birth!

Finally feeling ready to COMMIT to making the time for myself to exercise and eat right... but definitely nervous about losing the motivation as I have countless times over the past two years!

Feel free to friend me for mutual support!

I just started my period and leading up to today I was going "off the wagon" on snack foods I've managed to avoid all month.

Not gonna lie...I'm trying super hard not to let this be me in a few days. I've already had to remind myself that no, it is NOT okay for me to just stick my hand in a bag of trail mix because before I know it, the bag will be half-full...I keep a mini scale in my desk at work, so I'm always very specific with how much I eat, but it's almost that time of the month and I can feel it digging away at me and wanting me to give in to temptation....

Anyway, hope everyone has a good weekend!
