New here, hoping a 10 day challenge will keep me on track, usually I give up because I have a bad day or two and don't want to log. Based in the UK.
SW on 01/18: 326lbs
GW: 234lbs (temp goal)
CW: 324lbs ish.
My goal is to be under 322 by the end of January as that's down to the round stone. Under would be nice but I'm not aiming lower.

01/23: 323.5lbs (-0.5) - my scale does 1/4lb increments. Weighed after breakfast instead of before, but I doubt it'll change much.
01/24: 321.75lbs (-1.75) - I suspect most of the drop is water, which I may need to regain. Still recovering from a bad stomach flu, so I'll just see how this settles.
01/25: 322.25lbs (+0.5) - I ate at my calorie goal yesterday, thought this would go up more. Think I'm whooshing a bit just being early on in the process, need to not get discouraged if I stall for a week or 2 due to it later on. Writing it down so I remember!
01/26: 321.5lbs (-0.75) - Quite happy with where I seem to roughly be sitting.
01/27: 320.25lbs (-1.25) - Still seem to be wooshing. Hard to not like it, I think when it tapers off will be the hard part. And I indulged in a lot of camembert and bread yesterday, I thought this may be quite bad today, even though I came in about 300 calories under target (total deficit of 800). The daily changes are very interesting.

01/25 206.2 It has been a SUPER stressful week, and I have stayed on track, even made it to kickboxing twice... Yay me! I am going out to dinner tonight, and will indulge, but am confident that it will not derail me. TGIF!
01/26 207.8 I own it! As I said yesterday, last night was a splurge, and it was yummy. My son is working on a health project, and keep hearing him use terms like"good foods" and "bad foods" I want him to understand that You can be healthy, and still enjoy some sliders and fries once in a while, and not feel guilty! Also, that you are in control of your choices. I want him to see that I did not "blow" it, and that today, will continue to my journey of making good choices, and moving more. Weight/Shmeight....I am feeling pretty good right now!

01/25 -131.4 (That's better. So that would mean I'm 9st 5lb now right? Had real tasty food yesterday. Pork
tenderloin stuffed with garlic, kale, mushrooms and chorizo. Served with wild mushroom gravy and veggie mash, for lunch. Keto crème brûlée for desert. Then had a mini omelette (mushroom, bacon, bell pepper) with guacamole for dinner. Satisfying day )
01/26 -131.4 (Had a nice massage yesterday. Late birthday treat. They had a lot of sugary snacks on hand in the waiting area. Biscuits being offered, chocolates on the table, gummy sweets to the side; It was a challenge to resist free offerings. Then when I had a cup of tea, 2 little biscuits with dark chocolate and coconut covering were served beside it. Warred with myself for 5mins before I ended up having them. After searching for them online, 2 of them come to 7g carbs. So much for such small biscuits. But I was able to resit asking for more or going 'oh well might as well splurge now and have that chocolate too'. I managed to keep to my carb limits for the day.)
01/27 - 130.8 (Surprising, considering I snacked on some nuts late last night. Stressful time with my 6 months old nephew as he has a cold and wouldn't stay asleep for long. Sister out for the night with friends. )

I hit my “goal weight” around late November. I’ve managed to maintain around this weight since then. What I have realized though, is that I don’t think I would’ve been able to maintain without the daily accountability of this challenge. Thank you to @Grandmajackie and all of you contributors for the daily insights and commiseration. 01/23 - 145 – Back down again. I don’t have any real temptations (except for the full jar of candy bars at our office front desk) until this weekend. I’d like to drop a little before the weekend hits.
01/24 – 145 – I’ve done pretty well sticking to weight loss calories this week, so I’m hoping to see a little drop tomorrow.
01/25 – 145 – My husband and I have to grab carry out for supper tonight (we’re doing a lot of running around) so since I haven’t lost anything the past couple days, I’ll forego my favorite dish from the restaurant and order the healthier, lighter version.
01/26 – 144 – I’m a little surprised to see this because although I stayed within calories, we ate pretty late and I indulged in a shot of blackberry brandy to chase away the sub-zero wind chills we dealt with yesterday. @deepwoodslady and several others inspired me to shout a few dance tunes from the 80’s to my Alexa Echo and I danced around my kitchen for about 10 minutes while my husband showered. Maybe that’s what did it?
01/27 – 144.5 – Today is my only day off and we have more running around to do today. Due to several issues going on right now, I’m going to do my best to stay within weight loss calories, but there will be a lot of eating on the run today.

01/25 176.0 I suspect that is the end of the water woosh and things will slow down again now. I still don"t have a fridge or a stove but I have started getting the cupboards and small appliances organized. The cupboards are configured differently than before so it takes some trial and error, but it is very nice to have a new clean kitchen! I think that the first thing I will cook when I get my appliances in chicken picatta - I've never made it before but this seems like a good time to try new things.

01/27 177.6 I was basically AWOL yesterday, got my workout in but did not weigh or track. Got up stupidly early to get DS1 out the door for a tournament. In the afternoon I attended a memorial service for a dear friend, mass followed by a series of presentations followed by a reception followed by a party. Dinner was take out Chinese food. I expect some of this gain is sodium related. Back to kitchen unpacking today after I catch up on all the posts here.

01/23 280.6 (?) it was somewhere around there and if I don’t log things right after they happen I forget. I partied too hard this weekend...and it was hard to get back on track. My goal for this 10 days though is to be somewhere in the 270’s. It would be nice to see an overall 20 pound drop this month which I’m really close to.
01/24 280.4 I had a miserable night, I woke up with a stomachache and things spiraled out of control quickly, lol. I went to the bathroom and my stomach hurt so bad but I couldn’t get anything out and then I started sweating and cramping so bad I literally thought I was going to pass out and then OH MY GAWD the sweetest relief, swear I should have lost 2 pounds. Sorry for the tmi but I had to tell my story. I then had a really weird dream about riding my husbands Harley...yeah right. Anyhow, I have a partial day at work so I’m going to fit in a workout there and if the weather is nice go outside for some air. Hope everyone else has a good day.
01/25 278.8 must have been all that stomach aching the other night. Hope to see it keep dropping. Going to stay on track this weekend. NO DRINKING! I’m working all weekend too so I feel like that should help just have to bring my lunches so I’m not tempted into anything else. 4 more lbs and I’ll be where I was before thanksgiving started. Hit my 15 lb goal and went and bought a new outfit. Still hate trying on clothes but I was happy to actually see I fit into a size 20 jeans. Certainly would like to see lower numbers. As o lose more weight I’m also so worried about my excess skin again. It wasn’t the worst but with having double my weight in 2 years I feel like it’s going to be horrific. Ugh. The stupid things I have anxiety over and haven’t even happened. Anyways. Here’s to tomorrow! Good luck with keeping on track everyone. Every day has gotten easier for me.

01/27 277.8 Am back on my Qysmia and could barely touch anything yesterday for being nauseated. Worked 10 hours yesterday and it was a busy day with the girls. I even built and LOL surprise doll house and got a blister from all the screwing I had to do...not the naughty kind either. Good news is, I got most of my homework done, have one thing to do today and I’m done for the week. Big paper due for Sociology next week. Am excited to still be losing. The lady I nanny for got me a Louis Vuitton bag and I am so in love with it and seriously love her an unimaginable amount.
No more MK for me, lol. I feel so spoiled.

1/24 - 205.1 - Reset button. Just a bad day. Bounce back today. That wake up to a 211 blood sugar will do that to you. Already did my 2.5 mile run on the treadmill this morning. It felt great!!! I will track every calorie today!
1/25 - 202.3 (1,700 calories, 11,538 steps) - Reset button worked. I was happy with the calorie number, but not happy with food choices. Need to do better. Very happy with the 2.5mile treadmill run. Let's get that again today. Good luck to everyone heading into the weekend!
1/26 - Did not forget to weigh-in, just avoided.
1/27 - 203.4 (Did not track calories and steps) - It does get frustrating seeing the back and forth of the scale, but i am super happy I am staying in the 200-205 quadrant. @FarmerCarla Thank you. It’s been 18 years since my weight loss surgery but, that doesn’t mean it’s still easy. It’s quite hard and frustrating at times. I’m finding inspiration here in this group!

01/23 - 207.2 (2004 steps) I did NOT want to adult on Tuesday. I called off work and just slept. The eating that I did do wasn’t recorded or measured. No exercise. No meal prep. Meh! Hope to pick myself back up and restart for Wednesday.
01/24 – 207.7 (3459 steps) I got back on track Wednesday. I went back to work and did a TON of meal prep when I got home. I cooked 4 pork chops, 3 round steaks, a package of large shrimp, and a package of scallops for a total of 11 meals to cover me up and thru the weekend. Today is a NEW day!
01/25 – 203.6 (5573 steps) 17 minutes on bike (3.81 miles) – Thursday was an awesome day. I wasn’t hungry. I didn’t snack. Work was stressful to the MAX but I did not ease that stress by eating. I actually allowed myself to have a pint of Halo Top ice cream and will ended up wayyyyyyy under my daily MFP calorie goal! (The shrimp/couscous concoction that I had prepped the other night might have turned out to be an epic fail, but I’m new to actually cooking so I’ll keep trying.)
01/26 - 203.6 (6200 steps) 30 mins on bike (6.44 miles) Friday is family dinner night and we went to Benny’s pizza. I managed to stay in the green on my calories. Good day. Dog sitting over Saturday night for my cousin. Packed a couple meals and I’m all set.
01/27 DNW (9402 steps) Saturday is barn day. Spent 5 hours on the road traveling. I probably got a good 45 minutes of exercise riding Spark (the gelding that I’m leasing). It was COLD! I packed a meal for dinner here at my cousin’s house. I stayed with her 3 dogs overnight. Unfortunately, I gave into LNS since she had cheddar popcorn and frosted mini-wheats. No scale here at her house.10 -

Busy day yesterday with the dog agility trial, but got in over 15k steps and managed to just be slightly over my calorie goal so pretty happy with that. Plus I managed to push myself to prep my salads for the week which should help me stay on track for the work week.12 -

1/23-169-I’ve been so busy moving. I ate light but salty yesterday. I haven’t exercised because I am on my feet all day, packing and taking it to storage.
1/24-German food and German Beer with my uncle and worth it!
1/25-No Scale
1/26-168I had entered the latest info and pressed “Done” instead of “Post” and it disappeared. So I gave up.
1/27-167-I finally lost another pound. I just want to keep losing weight, but it sure comes off slow!
