This is my lucky thirteenth round. The last round was good until the end...so I'm hoping for a better time this round. I may decide to reset my Mini-goals....rather than be frustrated for the next 5 months!! They looked pretty reasonable at the start of January.

01/23 - 156 -- Yeah. The cake yesterday. I'm mostly in a better frame of mind today and TOM left, finally, after a two week visit!
01/24 - 154.5 -- Here we go again. Down below start weight. Now to see if I can end below start weight!
01/25 - 152.5 -- Whoosh! I feel I deserve it, but trying not to get too excited given all the ups and downs lately.
01/26 - 151.5 -- Still holding my breath. Been back on the keto train after the cake wreck....
01/27 - 151 -- Clearly something is working right...Although I guess this has happened before, with wild bounces followed by a drop, followed by more bounces. This challenge definitely helps me ride the roller coaster!
01/28 - 151.5 -- Good day yesterday, so no worries with the slight bounce up.
01/29 - 149.5 -- Being good this month is finally starting to show! So excited to see this decade! Expecting a little bit of bounce. (I'm writing this now so I don't freak out when it happens!) Maybe my mini goals can stay after all!
01/30 - 149 -- YAY! Hit by January mini-goal!! We had a no snow snow day yesterday. They cancelled school Monday afternoon because they thought we were going to get rain turning to snow overnight, followed by a hard freeze til noon. It was a proper Alabama snow day, with no snow and low temps of 33 (although the "real feel" was supposedly 22). People in the south have a hard time predicting these things, and a real fear of getting it wrong since the state only has about 3 plows!
01/31 - 150.5 -- Ate a little bit more yesterday because I was feeling tired and low energy. Had a few extra carbs, too.
02/01 - 151 -- (Never got around to posting yesterday). Not the lowest weight for the round, but finally a drop for January! It's not exactly a 4 lb loss for this round, more of a 4 lb loss total for the last 4 rounds!

SW (2015) = 333lbs
CW = 235.0
RGW = 233.5
UGW = 215
Round 65 = -0.5
1/23: 235.0. 2250 calories. Walked for 90 minutes.
1/24: 235.0. 2200 calories. 40 minute workout and 60 minute walk.
1/25: 235.0. 2100 calories. 40 minute workout and 80 minute walk. My weight is really consistent right now. I probably need to drop my calories below 2000 to see a significant downward trend. I'm trying to slowly get back into diet mode. I'm puttting a lot of effort into physical activity, but the diet part is still a struggle.
1/26: 235.5. Probably the result of too much sodium yesterday. 2200 calories today. 90 minutes of walking.
1/27: Didn't weight today. 2150 calories. 30 minutes of lifting weights and 60 minutes of walking.
1/28: 235.5. 2100 calories. 45 minute workout and 90 minutes walking.

ROUND 66 (Round 12 for me)
5’5” 67 y/o Texas Lady
SW 178 lb.
GW 135 lb.
Cumulative weight loss for Rounds 54-65 = 36.4 lb.
I started Round 54 and Keto WOE on September 24, 2018. My arthritis hip and shoulder pain have decreased significantly since my second week of Keto. Staying within calorie limits is easy enough, but not exceeding my carb limit is still tricky for me. I check my ketone level with a KetoMojo meter a couple of times a week to make sure my numbers are good. Some of my NSVs: feeling less self-conscious, wedding band fits, smaller clothing, a happy husband, and inspiring said husband to work a little harder on quitting his cigarette habit. The closer I get to my goal, the more excited and motivated I become! Don’t expect me to disappear when I reach maintenance. I like you folks, and I really appreciate and enjoy your company!
Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 143.4 (sigh) Easy come, easy go. I’m up almost 2 pounds from my weigh-in yesterday. If I’d gone back to bed, I wonder how long it would have taken to go down? Oh well, I had to go to work and a foot doctor appointment this afternoon. I’m less than 10 lb. from my goal, and I will get there. It may not go down tomorrow. It’s cold, and I’m treating myself to a glass of dry red wine. I prefer sweet, but this is pretty good. It’s probably good because I’m not used to sugar anymore. As long as I’m ready for our cruise in April, I’ll be happy. I found out my daughter and her husband are signed up for the same cruise (not planned), and my granddaughter called from Kansas, very excited, to say they’ve decided to take her out of school that week so she can go! We love cruising with and spending time with my granddaughter and took her to Alaska last summer. She has a boyfriend now, so I expect her to start spending less time with me, and over 700 miles between us doesn’t help, either. Please excuse me, but I’m using these daily posts as a journal and keeping copies. Kill two birds with one stone kind of thing?
01/24 141.0 Yesterday’s gain is gone, so I’m glad I didn’t stress over it. I’ve corrected my priorities after someone in the Christian MFP group I belong to asked if we were more diligent about logging in MFP than we were about our Bible study. I found myself guilty, so Bible study is now done with breakfast rather than logging in here first. I played cards with friends today, and I took Thor for a 5 mile walk this afternoon. It was a very pleasant day.
01/25 141.4 Hmm…. it’s up just a little, so I’m still good. Last night, I was pleased to discover I’m already doing better, and more, pushups and sit-ups. I’m getting stronger! I hoped to go to lunch or leave work early today, but lots of folks are ready to complete their tax returns. I ate two boiled eggs and a little slice of cheddar for breakfast and didn’t get another chance to eat until I arrived home this evening. Actually, our break room has lots of candy and other carb-laden snacks, but I know better than to give in. I made it through the day!
01/26 140.4 I slept in this morning, then had a busy day. Thor and I got in a 6.4 mile walk, and my husband and I grocery shopped and had dinner at Denny’s this evening. It was good—the senior tilapia with salad, broccoli, and squash—all keto approved. I still have to get in my sit-ups and pushups before bedtime.
01/27 140.6 My walks are still taking time to pay off, but I can wait. I stayed up late last night, then rose early this morning for church. I’m about to take my Sunday nap, then I’ll try a couple of new recipes. It’s nice having meals I can just heat up during the week, especially on days I work.
01/28 140.6 I’m a little stuck, and I didn’t get a chance to walk today. It would have been a great day to walk, but I had too many clients at work. We do what we have to do. I made a great vegetable (cabbage, spinach, celery, Ro-Tel tomatoes) beef (top round steak) soup in my pressure cooker this evening. I didn’t try to log it because I was in a hurry and didn’t take time to record the recipe and calculate the number of servings. My husband likes it, too, so that makes it a winner. I will complete my pushups and sit-ups before I go to bed. It seems funny, but I enjoy doing them. The cold front has arrived this evening. The wind sounds fierce, and I’m so grateful I don’t live up north. God bless those of you who do, and I pray you can stay warm!
01/29 141.6 Okay, this makes me a little angry. I don’t like going up and down (only down). I went to an appointment to adjust my orthotics this morning, and I need to wear them a few times before taking a long walk. I had to get up early this morning, so I took a nap. I leave for singing group practice in a few minutes. I know the last few pounds are usually the hardest, so I’m trying to be patient.
01/30 140.2 That’s more like it. I could have gone for a walk today—it’s not nearly as cold as it is in the northern states, but it’s still cold for me. I have a sore calf and sore foot, probably both from my orthotics, so that’s my other excuse. I feel bad for those of you suffering with the bitter cold to my north. You’re in my prayers.
I know this is off topic, but there’s something heavy on my heart today. I’m praying, with a broken heart for healing of the spreading cancer of immorality in our nation. New York’s decision to allow abortion up to the birth date of children, and legalize killing the children if they are born alive, is sickening. Virginia has followed suit, and Rhode Island is considering doing the same. Already, in New York, it’s reported more children are aborted than are born. How can this evil exist in a nation founded on Godly principles? I'll try not to mention it again, but it's so disturbing.
01/31 140.6 Okay, I’m stuck. At least I’m stuck 37 lb. lighter than I was 19 weeks ago. Regarding my post yesterday, I was relieved to find out the abortion bill in Virginia was voted down in the subcommittee before coming to a full vote. I had a birthday today, or yesterday, since it’s after midnight, my time. I don’t feel older! Yay!
02/1 139.6 I like that, but it’s unusual. The scale gave me a break this morning, even though I went to bed late and got up early. I took a 60 minute walk yesterday, but it was in the house, no hills. I moved the furniture to clear a path through the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Thor started out following me, but then decided to lay down in my path. I tried to alternate the leg I used to step over him. I worked late today and returned home after 8 pm. I’ve decided to see how I manage without logging for a few days. I hope I know and respect my limits by now. Tomorrow will be a busy day. I get to spend 6 hours learning new music and choreography, then visit my mother-in-law to wish her a happy 97th birthday. That reminded me to change my age at the top of my post. Saving the best for last, the plan is to enjoy a dinner date with my husband to celebrate my birthday. I’ve noticed it takes longer to celebrate as we get older. I should go to bed soon, but I’ll probably be up late, as usual.
How did this round end so quickly?

This is a great thread for accountability and support. One more weigh in day this round.
Back for another round. Posting weight each morning, and comments for the previous day.

Round 65 -|- End Goal: < 166
22/01: 165.6: Goals Aw, well! I was sitting in meetings all day and into the evening, so I'm very pleased with my end weight. My mean weight is back down to what it was at the beginning of December. My smart scale app informs me that I will reach my goal weight 2 weeks before my birthday in April. Now, that would be a great Birthday present.
Round 66 ~|~ End Goal: < 165
23/01: 165.6: Goals ✅ Went grocery shopping am, then Playreading after lunch. Lots of walking and stayed on track.
24/01: 165.6: Goals ✅ Spent the day organising my craft materials and fitted in lots of exercise.
25/01: 165.5: Goals ✅ Had a very good induction at the gym for my 10 week Boditrax course. I'm feeling the burn. My metabolic age is 7 years less than my chronological age! Everything else was either in the green range or just out of it so I am hoping to get them all into the green by the end of the course.
26/01: 165.3: Goals ✅ Lots of exercise, as we were going out for dinner with family. Stayed well under goal.
27/01: 165.4: Goals ✅ Gippy tummy from the rich food last night, even though I made good choices. I think it was the dessert which was a compote if dried fruit. Much too much sugar. Ate very simply today.
28/01: 165.3: Goals ✅ Gym session first thing, and walked home part of the way. Happy that there was no weekend upswing to speak of.
29/01: 165.2: Goals ✅ Several outdoor walks, a cardio session, and short strength/flex workouts.
30/01: 165.2: Goals ✅ Cardio and strength at the gym seems to be paying off. I've increased my protein a little to aid muscle toning. 👍🏻 After a week, it does appear to be working. Delighted that weight is still creeping down.
31/01: 165.0: Goals ✅ 😍 I saw 164 flash on the scale but it settled on this. I'll take it.
01/01: 165.1: Goals ✅ Almost there!
THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Female 55
Lost down to 180 doing lazy keto last spring, but the summer vacations came and then the holidays
and I put all of the weight back on. I am going to be consistant with tracking my food...good or bad...and
get healthier this year.
Starting weight on 1/9/19 203
Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 198.8
01/24 198.6 Started IBIH soup diet yesterday. Usually go up a pound after day 1...so I'll take it!
01/25 197.6 1 pound down! I ate between 5 pm and 6:30 pm. Stuck strickly to the plan and drank lots of water.
13,000 steps. Just going to keep plugging along.
01/26 197.4 Well..at least it's going down, if only slightly. Had a rough day at work and had 2 glasses of wine last
night. 13,000 steps logged yesterday. Going to do my HIT workout today and go for a 3 mile walk.
01/27 196.4 Going down...I like it! Did my 3 mile walk, but did not do my weights. Going to brunch with family. Will make smart choices.
01/28 197.8 ugg...walked 6 miles yesterday and worked out with weights. My food was on track, but water was under. I'll just keep plugging on!
01/29 197.6 NSV..yesterday was Teacher Appreciation day. I walked in to free Chcik fil a in the teacher's lounge, a cart of donuts wheeled to my classroom and a luncheon. I just had a half a chicken breast and some lettuce and veggies at the luncheon and resisted all of the other treats.
I kept tp my plan in the evening and walked 11,000 steps. Not much scale movement, but I'm sure it will come.
01/30 196.4 Hoping this downward trend will continue!
01/31 195.8 Going down.....sloooooooowly.....
02/01 194.4 YAY! 4.4 lbs lost this round. I've never been a daily weigher, but plan on continuing the next round. Hope to keep this downward trend going.
02/02 194.2 Had some wine last night, but kept everything else on plan. Did not get any excercise. Today is a beutiful day, so my goal is 15,000 steps.
Lost 4.6 pounds this round! Ready for round 67!!

Yip, ready for round 3. This one wasn't as amazing as I had envisioned!
Second round for me. 51; Mum of 2 grown boys; wife of 1 husband:) Living in San Diego, originally from Zimbabwe and 4 years in Zambia.
Round 66
Interim goal:- 166 or less
Next big goal:- 164 - into 'just fat' and out of obese on the BMI scale
Final goal:- 134
Track every day. Walk every day if I can - it's not hard on my body, so there are no excuses.
Make good food choices, plan my meals and grocery shopping.
01/23 169 Walked 70 mins treadmill. Field trip, exhausted. Within calories but made brownies for a work birthday so calories were not good
01/24 169 Rest day, tired
01/25 169 Holding steady. 60 mins treadmill, calories within limit and tracked.
01/26 167.2 walked 90 mins on trails. Calories good choices except 2 glasses red wine It's the weekend!
01/27 167.6 Walked again on trails, beautiful weather.
01/28 167.6 Walked on treadmill, calories not tracked yet but should be good.
01/29 167.6 Rest day, tired this morning. Still got in 10 000 steps at work. Within calories and just busy making balsamic veggie pasta for school lunches.
01/30 167.8 Walked 80mins treadmill. Not making good food choices, but still within calories. Tracking daily, becoming a habit now, great! Really wanted to be 166 this round, but doesn't look like it.
01/31 167.2 Walked 70 mins treadmill. Super Bowl chili at work - was super hungry, rough day all round. Calories just scraped in but that was with added exercise calories. Tracked everything tho.
02/01 167 even. Walked 70 mins treadmill. Calories were within limit. Tracked.
2 pound loss to end this round. OK with that.8 -
Thanks. I started the elimination diet because I knew I was having inflammation issues. I lost a bit of water weight, but most of this drop was inflammation. I definitely feel better. It helps everything, including now being able to sleep more than 5 hours a night.3 -

SW 376 – Round 66 (1/23/19)
GW 362 – Jan 31st
GW 299 – End of 2019 (6.2)
Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 376 (+0.6) - Yesterday at home, did not do steps but had a good eating day. I should have did a Leslie Sansone DVD.
01/24 374.8 (-1.2) - back on track! Now to keep it going. Back at work today. Had a salad for dinner. Overall good day today.
01/25 373.2 (-1.6) – A so so today. Got 7000 step goal in. A little over my WW points. Goal to maintain weight loss over the weekend.
01/26 no weigh in
01/27 373.2 (0.0)
01/28 370.6 (-2.6) - I had a good weekend. Weather is terrible here in shy town. Got to go get prepared for shut in. This will be a challenge but I am up for it because I want to get back in the next decade and stick it. I was thinking about having some good old Chicago home run inn pizza to celebrate weight loss today, but changed my mind. Took out some meat and will have a healthy day today. I have to get out of that cycle of celebrating weight losses with food because if triggers binges for me. To many other times to splurge when eating out to do it just to celebrate a weight loss. It is counterproductive for me. I probably already will not hit 362 but I can get close as I can get and pizza will not help me reach that goal. I have to do some house walking, cleaning, dvd's, etc to get my step goal since working from home because of in climate weather and frigid temps coming. I am going to keep my 362 goal before me to help keep me on track while I am sequestered.

@IsMollyReallyHungry you can do it! Just think of how good you"ll feel hitting the next decadequiltingjaine wrote: »@aFit50 A friend of mine keeps telling me I’m “tiny” but I still see that FAT girl in the mirror. On Friday, when we met our friends for lunch, they both mentioned how slim I am. I have to admit I can see it when I look at my side view in the mirror but straight on, I’m still MENTALLY the fat girl. We’ll get there mentally but it takes time.
I'm not tiny yet, lol but finally finished my comparison photos for the year and OMG .... I wasn't going to share any until I was further along, but ~ it is what is ..... and no making fun of my bras!!!! Panties are the same but I needed a similar color for comparison.
Obviously still have lots of fat in need of firming, but it's damn sure motivation to keep moving, lol! Hoping to lose another 30-40 pounds and 10% more jiggly stuff by June. Pray for me please.
