JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS ~ ROUND 66

Female aged 47 based in the UK .
Start Weight on 1st Jan '19
Starting - 158.50lb
End R64 - 154.90lb - Round loss 3.6lb - Loss to date 3.60lb
End R65 - 149.90lb - Round loss 5.0lb - Loss to date 8.60lb
Hoping to carry on where I left off last round - aiming to lose a couple of pound this round and finish in the 147's.
01/22 - 149.90
01/23 - 149.4lb (-0.5) Happy with that to start the round off with and continues my pattern of lose for a few days, then a small gain then back to losing again (???). Aiming to be properly on track this week and totally focused as away over the weekend so meals out, hotel breakfasts plus a 5 hour car journey each way - will be a challenge but one I need to learn to handle better.
01/24 - 149.7 (+0.3) No logic to this other than a carb heavy dinner of risotto last night and TOM imminent (or not! All a bit hit and miss these days ). Not disheartened as still down on round starting weight and a good food day planned for today
01/25 - 149.8 (+0.1) Guessing this is TOM approaching as feeling bloated today and no reason for it based on my diet Not going to put me off track though as feeling very focused and determined at the minute. Weekend away now - have a plan in my head to stay as much on track as possible - just need to act on it now. Have a great weekend everyone
01/26 - DNW
01/27 - DNW
01/28 - DNW
01/29 - 150.0lb (+0.20) Not too bad considering had a weekend away with just a little indulgence and TOM arrived - back on track today and aiming to see my end weight for this round lower than where I started. No plans out of the ordinary for the week so no reason why these last few days shouldn't be good!
01/30 - 149.40lb (-0.6lb) Yay! Back on track and on a downward path again and half a pound from the start of the round. Every intention of keeping up this momentum and get a decent loss for the round.
01/31 - 150.20lb + .80lb ????? I genuinely have no idea why......can only think its due to having ham with dinner last night and hence the salt ? But 0.8lb ???? Wow! I shall continue my quest and hope to see this off over the next few days as I know its not because of excess calories or macro's ...........

No the right direction. And the daily weighing isn't helping me. I'll finish this Round but I'll lay off the scale for a while in Feb.

01/23 155.1 (weight holding steady 3 days; under 1200 cal.; increased water)
01/24 154.9 (after dropping so fast last round, loss has slowed down; still doing 1200 cal. 12 days now/7 lbs)

01/26 154.2 (slow and steady I guess, still 1200 cal, still no gym)

01/28 154.7 (less sodium, under 1200 cal, drank more water)

01/23 177.6
01/24 177.2
01/25 176.0 I suspect that is the end of the water woosh and things will slow down again now. I still don"t have a fridge or a stove but I have started getting the cupboards and small appliances organized. The cupboards are configured differently than before so it takes some trial and error, but it is very nice to have a new clean kitchen! I think that the first thing I will cook when I get my appliances in chicken picatta - I've never made it before but this seems like a good time to try new things.
01/26 DNW
01/27 177.6 I was basically AWOL yesterday, got my workout in but did not weigh or track. Got up stupidly early to get DS1 out the door for a tournament. In the afternoon I attended a memorial service for a dear friend, mass followed by a series of presentations followed by a reception followed by a party. Dinner was take out Chinese food. I expect some of this gain is sodium related. Back to kitchen unpacking today after I catch up on all the posts here.
01/28 179.0 No good reason, no extenuating circumstances - I just did not have my act together yesterday.
01/29 179.6 ditto
01/30 178.6
01/31 177.6 Yesterday was the first day in a while where I stuck to my meal plan and came in under goal on calories. Come to think of it yesterday was the first day in a while that I even had a meal plan. Made the chicken picatta last night and it was yummy!

Yesterday was good, kept it in calories, went to the gym and dog agility class. Today however will likely be a write off. Restaurant for lunch and then cake afterwards for my long time coworker. Likely to also be an emotional day so that won’t help things. Will need to remind myself that this is a journey and as long as I get back on the horse tomorrow it’s all good.12 -

I was hungry just before the start of my eating window, but didn't eat until the last hour. Spent the day helping my Niece prepare for my Grand Nephew's birthday party.
1/27 - 173.8 - 37g carbs, 32g net carbs. Carbs were: multi grain tortilla chips, guacamole, broccoli, vanilla wafers. Didn't make it to 1000 calories yesterday. Just wasn't hungry.
1/28 - 175.2- 32g carbs, 28g net carbs. Carbs were: cauliflower, seasoning on turkey wings, breading on chicken tender, raw pecans
1/29 - 176 (early weigh in) - 28g carbs, 22g net carbs. Carbs were: spinach, cashews, green beans.
1/30 - 174.4 - 57g carbs, 51g net carbs. Carbs were: horseradish in tuna, salad, multi grain crackers, oyster crackers, raspberries, whipped cream, 85% dark chocolate.
1/31 - 176.2 - I'll be glad when my cold weather carb loading is over! 132 carbs, 101g net carbs. Carbs were: Oyster crackers, PeppFarm mini dark choc chunk cookies (No, I am not fooled by the "mini" Still a lot of calories and carbs, but they're so crunchy!), keto seed porridge, was not the satisfying comfort food today, but homemade minestrone did the trick.

01/23 - 179.6 lbs / I've been doing pretty well so far today. I took a 15 minute walk during my break & I've had 32 oz of water so far. Hopefully, I do well during the whole challenge.
01/24 - 179 exactly today. I did a little cardio when I got home yesterday & didn't have a big dinner.
01/25 - So today I weighed in at 180. I did really good with my calories yesterday, and I worked out after work. Not really sure why the scale doesn't reflect the hard work, but then again I did have a little fried food for dinner
01/26 - 180.6 today. Yesterday was not great calorie wise & tonight I'm taking my mom to a seafood buffet for her birthday. I'll just start fresh tomorrow.
01/27 - 180.2. I did go to the buffet yesterday but amazingly I stuck to only one plate which I couldn't even finish & I didn't have drinks afterwards. I didn't keep track of my meals but I think I did ok in terms of calories. I didn't work out yesterday but today's a new day & I'm ready to start over again.
01/28 - 180.4 / I'm starting to feel really stagnant now. I'm just glad it's Monday because I tend to eat better on days that I work. Hopefully, I at least get down to 178 by the end of this challenge.
01/29 - 179.6 / Well it's nice to be back in the 170s even if it's just by the skin of my teeth. I always do better food wise when I'm at work. Unfortunately, today's a snow day. I'll really have to work hard today if I don't want to gain.
01/30 -178.6 / Yayy!! I'm finally under my start weight from the beginning of this round. I'm happy. I'm trying to start holding myself more accountable for my eating and lack of exercise. I only went over my allotted calories by like a hundred yesterday and I did a 20 minute workout. I'm proud of myself.
01/31 - 178.6 / I'm surprised it's not a gain so I will definitely take it. I overate by another hundred calories yesterday, and those calories included chocolate and a slice of pizza. I couldn't help myself anymore lol. Working out tonight to hopefully curb a gain tomorrow.

OSW: 252
Round 66 SW: 214.6
01/23—216.8— Not an unexpected bump. I'm back to retaining water, have some digestive funkiness, and TOM looms. I didn't get 45 to continue to the next round of my push ups challenge, but I'm stoked because I got to 40. (42 if I count the two terrible ones at the end where I lost my form and nearly faceplanted.) So I went from 31 to 40 in ten days. Progress!
01/24—215.8—Had a lot of guesswork in my calories yesterday. I estimated high but lunch was plain chicken breast on plain salad. (I hate conference food!) Today will be more sedentary than yesterday, so I'll need to be mindful and keep moving.
01/25—216.6—TOM and non-ideal eating. Boo. I ate back all of my exercise calories, which I don't tend to like to do. I don't feel great, but I don't feel terrible either, which is a win!
01/26—217—This was after drinking a couple of glasses of water.
01/27—215.8—Late weigh-in. I felt really awful this morning so I went back to bed.
01/28—216.2—Rocky weekend for how I was feeling, but I ate well and got in a lot of moderate exercise minutes. I don't work for the US federal government, but a lot of my work is in reaction to what the federal government does, so it's possible this will be a real sprint of a week as the end of the shutdown might mean a ton of new things to respond to. Whee!
01/29—216.2—Still retaining some water. Yesterday was very quiet at work, which makes me nervous! I'm wearing pants today that gave me a muffin top the last time I was this weight (actually, I was a little lighter). No muffin top now! So things are shifting around. Continuing the push ups and Butt & Gut challenges. And I'm now in the habit of long stretches of medium intensity cardio. Not for weight loss but for cardiovascular fitness.
01/30—216.2—This number looks familiar! I had a very good eating day yesterday and experimented with microwave keto bread (I'm not using keto, but it was a gf recipe and easy). Not too bad! Getting slammed at work, as expected, so I have to try to be very conscious of moving often and drinking enough.
01/31—216.2—I'm not sure I've ever managed to have the same weight 4 days in a row. Not precisely the sort of record I was going for! Still holding onto some TOM water, I think, but feeling good otherwise. Another great eating day yesterday and another day of push ups. I glitched a bit and forgot to do part of my Butt & Gut challenge, but I'll just pick it up today and keep on keeping on!

01/23 181.9 This is getting to be too much. In 20 days I'm down 1 pound. There is a part of me that thought I'd skip this round. It's too depressing for me when I'm eating within calories and staying focused on exercise with no weight loss. I honestly had one bad calorie day on Sunday, every other day I have been within goal. I keep expecting a whoosh that isn't coming. I need to accept I'm here - not at 178 like I was for a few days. Old Kris tells me to give up and eat whatever I want and how much I want. Screw walking, screw the gym, forget the stupid C25K idea you're too old, fat, out of shape etc. I need to slap the crap out of Old Kris (OK), because that's what I've done every time. Keep me accountable people. I need this challenge.
01/24 181.9 Still here. I walked three freezing miles yesterday and fell on the stupid ice. I'm not walking today, my body is a little sore. I fell on ice twice this week, I think that's a sign. Plus they have temperature warnings for this afternoon, frost bite can set in within 15 minutes of exposure. A good sign to take the night off. My calories were low yesterday, didn't eat back my exercise calories but over on sodium. I guess that's why I'm stuck. On a positive note, have you guys tried the Green Giant Fresh bowls? I had the Teriyaki sauce with sesame seeds bowl last night with a chopped up chicken breast and it was delicious. Thank you again for the support yesterday. The picture below is from my walk yesterday. Stupid winter.
01/25 181.4 Down finally. No exercise, food within goal. It's so cold (overnight 3 degrees, -12 windchill) I couldn't even think about walking outside.
01/26 180.0 I posted this yesterday but somehow it didn’t save.
01/27 178.5 The whoosh that took 10 days??? Who knows who cares, I’m happy with it. Thanks again for the support. You people helped me get back here.
01/28 179.6 Here we go again. I wasn't high on sodium for once and I was under calories (not by a lot but still). I think it will be down tomorrow. As long as it's done by the end of the round. I was happy to be out on the trail yesterday. I got in three miles but even on Sunday was running late. Trying to get too much weekend into one day. Saturday was spent babysitting my 1 yr old niece and attending a friend's granddaughter's wheelchair basketball game. I thought the baby might enjoy the game, instead she spent the entire time watching two kids play in the stands beside us. Hahaha If anyone has the opportunity to go to one of these games, they're not high scoring but they are fun to watch. Our girl is 10 and a blocking fool. On man-to-man coverage she blocked her guy in the corner, I don't think he touched the ball once. Of course she did the same thing on offense so she didn't touch the ball either
01/29 178.6 It was down tomorrow! I found an indoor track to walk on when the polar vortex is attaching the midwest. It's not as good as walking outside, but better than a treadmill. I did day 1 of week 2 C25K last night. I can't seem to do it straight through but have to stop the app and walk for about 5 minutes than start up again. But I ran the 90 seconds without stopping each round. I was surprised and kind of delighted. The really shocking bit, for myself, is I did this "running" (I jog - I have asthma and breathing issues) on an indoor track surrounded by people. They all saw me and no one stopped pointed and laughed. I actually passed people. Tonight is weight machines night. I look forward to it each week because it's kind of calming.
01/30 177.1 WTH? I do not expect this to last but it feels pretty good right now. I did my weights last night and stayed within calories. I'm going to lunch today at a BBQ place. I will get burnt ends and eat lettuce the rest of the day to make my goal. I haven't had any in MONTHS and I live in Kansas City the HOME of burnt ends! I will stay withing calories but my macros will be up!
01/31 176.7 I have no idea what's going on but can't be mad. These last three rounds have really been a roller coaster. I expected a slight uptick today but instead got an almost half pound loss. I am happy but still expect a slight uptick tomorrow. Right now at 8:20 a.m. it's 8 degrees, it's supposed to warm up to 34 this afternoon. If that happens I'll be on the trail, if it doesn't get that "warm" I'll be on the indoor track. I'm ready for day 2 week 2 of C25K. I will turn 50 in July, I've been thinking I should try to actually run a 5K to celebrate that. I walk them 3 or 4 days a week but to run the entire distance would be accomplishment since I've literally never run a mile. It doesn't have to be by my birthday just before the end of the year. Mini goals help me a lot with this process.
02/0113 -
@shunggie My first “burnt ends” experience was in St. Louis with our niece. They weren’t that good. The ones at Tucky’s are great and I never get them with sauce. Juicy, spicy, yummy! I ate them 4 days in a row this week!
@FarmerCarla I agree.5 -
@quiltingjaine They are my favorite bbq! I'm glad you gave them a second chance.2
-
@shunggie, I LOOOOVE burnt ends. Mm! I might have to have bbq this weekend.2
-
On a completely different topic. I take my "gym clothes" to work with me and leave them in the car. When I change clothes I forget that they've been in a freezing car all day. Frozen pants and shirts are one thing- that frozen sports bra could be used as a torture device. Any one else have this problem? I brought them in my office today but I was curious. I can't be the only one.8
-
@sunabove Right now you are minus 2.5. That’s not bad for 9 days! Don’t be discouraged, it’s a good loss!
@SarahG626 I read MFP on my phone early in the morning so pictures of Oskar in my lap are taken with my phone.
A couple of times this morning I have wished there was am LOL emoji here!
@cpanus Chris, sorry to hear you are shrinking in the wrong places. It’s a problem at this age.3 -
I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!
Start Weight Feb 2018 - 202

Jan 23 - 179.0 - I feel good about round 65 and am ready to start round 66 with a positive attitude.
Jan 24 -178.6 - I am trying very hard to stay busy and not snack my days away. It is harder than it should be.
Jan 25 - 178.4 - I am running out of projects to stay busy. Today and tomorrow I have plans both days so that should help a bit. I’ll keep at it!
Jan 26 - 177.8 - I’m so happy to see this! I had been at 177 the couple days before Christmas and then blew it.
Jan 27 - no scale
Jan 28 - 179.6 - I’m sure this is a lot of water weight from way too much sodium Saturday evening. It always lingers for a couple days in my system.
Jan 29 - 179.4 - still water weight I think, even though I’ve been drinking lots.
Jan 30 - 180.0
Jan 31 - 180.4 - I really need to stop the late night snacking and either go to bed or walk.

Day/Weight/Comment
1/23: 218.6 @ 6:30am (meditated 15 mins & exercised 60+)
1/24: 217.8 @ 7:00am - body isn't sore, but struggling to push myself today. Planning to drink a gallon of water and try a new workout. 🤞 .... (exercised 60+)
1/25: 216.9 @ 7:30am - FAIL on the water yesterday, but found a 3 day flexibility challenge I'm gonna need more than 3 days for, lolololo. Exercise earlier was mostly cleaning but will get in a good walk at lunchtime. Dinner out tonight and Sunday so pretty much in party mode til Monday. 😜🍸💃 Have a great weekend everyone. Enjoy!!! (20mins meditation & exercised 60+)
1/26: 217.0 @ 8:30am One Year MFP Anniversary and exactly 61 pounds down! I also earned a new NSV at Red Lobster last night with amazingly only ONE cheddar biscuit people, lol ~ That's HUUUGGGGE!!!! Not only do I usually eat way more than I'd like to admit, I always took some home for later. Didn't happen!!! Everyone laughed while I picked on it like a bird, but like Judy Garland I sang "I don't care, I don't care .... " all the night long (no exercise or meditation today)
1/27: 216.6 @ 6:00am - 15 mins meditation & 60 mins exercise done. Have a great day everyone!
1/28: 217.0 @ 8:00am - uuggh, was expecting a bump after my cheat day yesterday so no surprise, but I am sick of seeing this number! Time for a reset!!! Keeping IF 16/8 but ditching Keto, going back to LC eating and starting a new 8 week plan to shake things up a bit. No looking back! [i\(30 mins exercise)[/i]
1/29: 215.9 @ 8:30am - 20 mins meditation only exercise today, though Donna has inspired me to get in a little shimmy shimmy before bed
1/30: 217.4 @ 8:30am – not sure, but thinking my weight this round is reflecting my emotions. I’ve been feeling so shaky and fragile the past two weeks, even the quality of my sleep is taking a hit with some awful dreaming. Normally awareness and self-reflection lead to correction pretty quickly, but I can’t even speak without fear of crying. JEEEZZZZ Louise I’m feeling as sensitive as old TOM. Will probably keep my mouth shut and my head down for a while, but know I’m still rooting for you guys. (50 mins exercise / 30 mins meditation)
1/31: 215.8 @ 9:00am - hallelujah.

01/23 ….. 187.1 ….. This thing we always hear about it being hard to lose weight in the winter…. Well, they ain’t kiddin’ folks! It’s not just the holidays! It’s being stuck in during these snow storms & much much more.
01/24 ….. 186.8 ….. Yesterday was great. Right on plan. IF 18:6 Over six hours of sleep which is phenomental for me! 21 Net Carbs. 1062 Calories. 16,231 steps. 6.93 miles of activity. 13/13 steps hours on fitbit. I danced 53 minutes (my son danced 39 of them with me!) Sample song: Beautiful Loser by Bob Segar.
01/25 187.3 No dancing yesterday but I did get in a 35 minute walk. IF 16:8. 10,193 steps total. 4.34 miles. 12/13 step hours. 2301 calories burned. 4 hours 30 minutes of sleep.
01/26 ….. 187.1….. 14 Net Carbs. 1365 Calories. I burned 2604 calories. 13,363 steps overall. 5.71 miles overall. 13/13 step hours on fitbit. Slept 4 hours 23 minutes which is typical. My awake/eating window is bigger than normal due to such little daily sleep so I keep it in check with 16:8 IF. I aerobic danced 53 minutes. One of the songs was “Give credit where credit is due” by Meghan Trainor
01/27 …..186.9 ….. 12 Net Carbs. 1144 Calories. I burned 2549 Calories for the day. 13,155 steps overall. 5.58 miles overall. 13/13 step hours on fitbit. I slept an amazing 7 hours 57 minutes last night (which I haven’t done in years!) IF 16:8. I danced for 55 minutes. One of the songs was “Born to Run” by Bruce Springsteen. 01/28 …..186.7….. Fat is melting away in a slow drip but I’ll take it I had a Long work day yesterday but got in lots of steps, then a couple of sets of dancing later, some with son. Great numbers to report: 10 Net Carbs. 1040 Calories. I burned 2853 calories for the day. 22,158 total steps & 9.39 miles! Yay me! 13/13 step hours on fitbit. IF was at 21:3 because of late start eating & time restraints. I slept 5 hours 27 minutes. I danced for 150 minutes and my son danced 53 of them with me! One of the songs was “I Can’t Get Next To You”, by the Temptations.
01/29 184.8 Whoosh, there it is! Yesss….. Finally the dancing is showing up on the scale. Diet has stayed on point too. Keeping this momentum up has not been too difficult. I love it when I get to these strong points. It’s just a matter of getting through the weak ones first till you reach the other side! I hope this lasts awhile. 22 Net Carbs. 1264 Calories. I burned 2616 Calories. 16,584 steps & 7.05 miles. 13/13 step hours on fitbit. IF 16:8. I slept 4 hours 31 minutes. I danced 83 minutes. One of the songs was “Have you ever seen the Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival. It’s a bit of a different version on Alexa, but I like it. I played it on the warmup side of my set ( a couple of songs in the middle of the set are my fastest peak). I tried to get “When Doves Cry” by Prince but Alexa wouldn’t give it to me. Drats! Thanks to everyone for the nice comments, the likes, and the emails I’m getting regarding the dancing. I am so happy to hear that some of you have picked up the “habit” too. It feels good to give something back when I have taken so much from all of you. This is wonderful! And to @quiltingjaine : I’m another crazy person that puts my scale EXACTLY in the same spot on the floor for weighing. I understand our craziness. I, too, want to see the EXACT difference in my weight from day to day. Also, I wanted you to know that I had 2 TBSP of PB last night (like I did a few weeks ago), regular creamy Jif. Last time I marched an extra mile for it. This time I danced an extra bit at 11:00 PM for it which was more fun & went by quicker . Of course, I saved room in my macros for it! I needed a little bit of a snack & the PB offered some protein, not just all sugar like a cheat treat. I’m mentioning again so all the newbies can see that if we cave & have a LNS, we must choose as wisely as possible, then get up off our bums and work it off! Have a good day everyone!
01/30 …..184.8….. Holding Steady which is great after my dinner last night! Had a friend over to watch a Netflix movie which turned out to be pretty cheesy and not so scary afterall. NET Carbs 99. Calories 1906. Yikes. I burned 2551 calories. 12,284 steps overall & 5.24 miles. I slept 4 hours 26 minutes and got 12/13 fitbit step hours. I only lost the one hour when I was getting my haircut yesterday at the salon. I danced 43 minutes. No afternoon set due to hair and no makeup time in the evening due to my guest being over. But that was an extra 277 calories I burned so I’ll take it! Thanks to @quiltingjaine for the PB suggestions. I was hoping when the threw the brand name Jif out there someone would have a better idea! I am traveling today to the nearest small town for shopping & to stop by the veterinary clinic. I will check out your PB suggestions. If not, I’ll check Amazon. I’m worried about being out of town. We usually get Chinese since it’s something we can’t get near home & oh, my the bloat and water retention. We’ll see what happens. I’ll try to make good high protein choices and will slaughter any problems that arise tomorrow. Sample song yesterday was “Lightening Strikes” by Lou Christie. A golden oldie 50’s, 60’s song. His songs were always so fun to hear with the voice change. Have a great Hump day everyone!
01/31 …..186.9 Drats. I knew that Chinese food would rear it’s ugly head on my scale. I logged my food as best I could figure but it is probably not super accurate. Way over carbs & Calories. Not much movement as I was sitting a lot during travel. I burned 2186 calories for the day . 8102 steps total & 2.78 miles. 10/13 fitbit step hours. 4 hours 23 minutes of sleep. 21 minutes of very tired late night dancing but included a great peak song “uptown funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars. A perfect dancing song to get the blood pumping. Pool Hall & potluck tonight which will make 3 days of social engagements in a row. Ugg. The Pool Hall usually means more carbs, less steps, less dancing and more sitting. But it’s nice to get out. Our governor has called Michigan a state of Emergency for consistent cold & wind chill temps 2 days ago. Last night emergency messages came on our cell phones asking us to turn our heats down to 65 degrees F until Saturday due to too much power being used by our power company that caused a fire at a power plant. No relief indoors now. Cold inside & out! Yikes. Thankfully, it’s supposed to be a very strange warmup this weekend, which will be a mess of sloppy mud & nasty dirt roads in our area. But at least warmer…..Today I’ll try to fit in a dance session before I leave. @quiltingjaine – I found the Smuckers Natural PB at Walmart. It was under $4.00 for the medium size jar. The only ingredients are Peanuts & less than 1% salt. It will be a nice addition for last minutes catch-up protein. I must go start car now & let it run. 3 days this week I have needed a jumpstart because of temps & I have a new battery! Stay warm everyone & keep moving. Try “Uptown Funk”. It’s a perfect song for that crazy dance person in you!

@hammycakes On gym days I drink extra water and have a chilled high protein shake in the car. Try that, if you haven’t, and see if it helps.
@MsBaz2018 Are you tracking your food? Is there a correlation between what you eat and the weight change 2-3 days LATER?
@deepwoodslady Glad you were able to find the PB. No refrigeration needed makes it easier to stir the oil back in but that cool house isn’t going to help at all! Wrap up and stay warm. Prayers are with everyone enduring that crazy cold!
@MyEvolvingJourney Welcome back! We look forward to seeing you in Round 67!

@quiltingjaine Yes I did track my intake as usual. Food scale and all. Ate back some but not all exercise calories. And in any case at 200+ lbs set for 1200 cals, even if I am off 20% it is still so far below maintenance it shouldn't have been an issue.
Anyway... In the long run it won't even matter. Hopefully I'll come back in Round 70 and have better success on scale. I'll just focus on following the program for now (logging faithfully and exercising) and lay off the scale for a bit.
Thanks for the support

SW: 210.8
GW: 140ish
R64: 207.8-200.8 (-7.0lbs)
R65: 200.8–200.6 (-0.2lbs)
R66: SW 200.6 GW 197.x
Daily goals: drink 100oz or more of water; no alcohol; stay around my 1200 calories; dedicated 1hr of exercise 8/10 days; 15k steps; 3k calorie burn via Fitbit
1/23: 198.8 - thank goodness! 🤩 Onederland! This was the woosh I was expecting all last round. Hit all my goals yesterday.
1/24: 198.2 - met, and exceeded, all my goals yesterday. Tried drinking 150oz of water, which is recommended for my weight by a lot of calculators, but had to get up 3x during the night, so I’ll stick with the 100oz still, which allows me to sleep through the night. I made oatmeal chocolate chip walnut cookies with the kids yesterday AM, and have so far resisted having one. Normally I would crave one for breakfast with my coffee, but sweet doesn’t sound *as good* in the AMs after trying to do high protein in the mornings for the last month (this is a great NSV for me!), and I know if I start my day with one, it could all go downhill fast. Also, I tried switching 1 of my coffees for 1-2 black teas over the past week, and I was getting headaches, so I am back to coffee with milk (the only time I ever get headaches, for the last 20 years, has been from lack of caffeine.)
1/25: 196.6 - whoa, totally unexpected, but I’ll take it! Had a stressful day, and got some very bad news. Hit all my goals, but didn’t eat nutritiously.
Also, today marks 1 month since I started. I’ve lost 14lbs total, have only had alcohol once (next round I’ll start adding it back carefully - I credit alcohol calories with a majority of my weight gain), feel like I mostly have a good and sustainable routine with getting to the gym (making it routine is always hard for me), and I have more energy in general. I think I’ve lost at least two inches off my waist, but I didn’t measure right away, so I won’t officially measure again until next week. My skin is the most noticeable difference too me - it looks great and glowing with all the water and workouts. This group has been super motivating and inspirational and I appreciate you all! Having a place to report in is definitely helping me stick to my daily goals more than I would have otherwise.
1/27: 197.0 - 😆 oh boy! This is why I didn’t change my goal weight for this round after getting in the 196.x. Was under calories yesterday, and had an extra active day with my kids (and a nap 🎉), but didn’t have dedicated exercise, only got 80oz of water, and my Fitbit needed to be recharged, so I imagine I was close on steps and calories burned but just don’t know for sure.
1/28: 197.2 - I expected this. Extra active day yesterday, hit all my goals, but food was high in sodium. Pre-made steak, chicken, and black beans to use for meals all week. I am feeling extremely anxious today about some projects I need to start/complete in the next day, so I hope I can handle them well. Hugs appreciated - my stomach is in knots over them.
1/29: 196.6 - Hit all my goals yesterday. Burned 1k on the elliptical according to Fitbit, without the gossipy neighborhood lady there to motivate me to work out hard 😆. Prepped lots of cut veggies and veggie dishes for the week, so should have very little food prep needed through the weekend.
1/30: 194.4 - whoa 😮 Hit all my goals yesterday, and was extra active with the kids (beach and bikes and basketball.) Pulled something in my neck sleeping funny, so did light elliptical and no weights at the gym. Also, officially down a jean size now - so exciting! Shopped in my closet yesterday. Can’t decide if I should just throw my big jeans away altogether, or save them for gardening.
1/31: 194.2 - Had kind of a blue day yesterday. Met my goals, but barely.

No the right direction. And the daily weighing isn't helping me. I'll finish this Round but I'll lay off the scale for a while in Feb.10 -
Also - for anyone who's posted pet pictures.......are you doing that via the MFP app on your phone or on your computer? I've seen a cat in a window, a cat in a lap, and a dog in a bed. My cat has been jumping from box to box and just sitting there. He's so cute! Wish I could share.
@SarahG626 - I used the app on my iphone 🐶🐱

@quiltingjaine Trying to stay warm as best I can. Schools have been closed for days & all mail delivery has been suspended for days. No Amish buggies or horses going up & down the roads. The bright side......It's so beautiful.
@aFit50 [hugs] Thank Goodness you are the Amazing Strong Woman that You Are. Thinking of you today.

@tiabirdie56 We were running around the same weight and then Christmas put me 10 pounds higher. I don't even understand completely how this happened, but Girl, I am dancing my way back to you!5 -
