Day/Weight/Comment01/23 - 207.2 (2004 steps) I did NOT want to adult on Tuesday. I called off work and just slept. The eating that I did do wasn’t recorded or measured. No exercise. No meal prep. Meh! Hope to pick myself back up and restart for Wednesday.
01/24 – 207.7 (3459 steps) I got back on track Wednesday. I went back to work and did a TON of meal prep when I got home. I cooked 4 pork chops, 3 round steaks, a package of large shrimp, and a package of scallops for a total of 11 meals to cover me up and thru the weekend. Today is a NEW day!
01/25 – 203.6 (5573 steps) 17 minutes on bike (3.81 miles) – Thursday was an awesome day. I wasn’t hungry. I didn’t snack. Work was stressful to the MAX but I did not ease that stress by eating. I actually allowed myself to have a pint of Halo Top ice cream and still ended up wayyyyyyy under my daily MFP calorie goal! (The shrimp/couscous concoction that I had prepped the other night might have turned out to be an epic fail, but I’m new to actually cooking so I’ll keep trying.)
01/26 - 203.6 (6200 steps) 30 mins on bike (6.44 miles) Friday is family dinner night and we went to Benny’s Pizza (local favorite). I managed to stay in the green on my calories. Good day. Dog sitting over Saturday night for my cousin. Packed a couple meals and I’m all set.
01/27 DNW (9402 steps) Saturday is barn day. Spent 5 hours on the road traveling. I probably got a good 45 minutes of exercise riding Spark (the gelding that I’m leasing). It was COLD! I packed a meal for dinner here at my cousin’s house. I stayed with her 3 dogs overnight. Unfortunately, I gave into LNS since she had cheddar popcorn and frosted mini-wheats. No scale here at her house.
01/28 – 203.6 (3815) Sunday was a relaxing day. No exercise but I kept within my calorie goal, right up until I went to bed. I’m not usually one to really care about the ups and downs from day to day but, I’ll say it’s nice to have seen the same # since 1/25.
01/29 – 201.9 (7762 steps) 35 mins of bike (7.69 miles) I had another great day yesterday. I was under on my calorie goal! I have more meal prepping to do tonight and I’ll be set for another 7 meals. I think doing that has saved me more than anything. I usually do both pork chops and round steaks that I buy at Aldi and pair them with either veggies or Knorr Rice sides. Yogurt and protein powder drink for breakfast most days.
01/30 – 201.2 (6220) 40 mins on bike (8.45 miles) Tuesday was a good day, except my Buckeyes lost to TTUN in men’s basketball. We started preparing for FREEZING cold temps! I prepped another 4 meals for the week. I still have more to make. I just didn’t feel like doing more than I did. I saved enough calories to enjoy a piece of my Aunt Nyla’s homemade apple pie! Yummy! Onward and downward! Stay warm my friends. Wind-chill was -23F at 5:30am this morning.

@SarahG626 That is SO cold!!
I had a look at the Chicago temps and wind chill earlier also. Shocking!7 -

My 26th round
Goals for this round 175.x and - track everything!
Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 177.6
01/24 177.2
01/25 176.0 I suspect that is the end of the water woosh and things will slow down again now. I still don"t have a fridge or a stove but I have started getting the cupboards and small appliances organized. The cupboards are configured differently than before so it takes some trial and error, but it is very nice to have a new clean kitchen! I think that the first thing I will cook when I get my appliances in chicken picatta - I've never made it before but this seems like a good time to try new things.
01/26 DNW
01/27 177.6 I was basically AWOL yesterday, got my workout in but did not weigh or track. Got up stupidly early to get DS1 out the door for a tournament. In the afternoon I attended a memorial service for a dear friend, mass followed by a series of presentations followed by a reception followed by a party. Dinner was take out Chinese food. I expect some of this gain is sodium related. Back to kitchen unpacking today after I catch up on all the posts here.
01/28 179.0 No good reason, no extenuating circumstances - I just did not have my act together yesterday.
01/29 179.6 ditto

I usually measure in stone and just convert that to pounds for the site, however I’ll be switching my scale to pounds so I can get the oz reading each day.
01/22 – 132lb (pre-scale change)
Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 -131.8 (Been 9st 6lb for a few days so don't know rate the oz's have dropped. Will be interesting to see)
01/24 -132.2 (Had quite a bit of salt yesterday, so may be water retention.)
01/25 -131.4 (That's better. So that would mean I'm 9st 5lb now right? Had real tasty food yesterday. Pork
tenderloin stuffed with garlic, kale, mushrooms and chorizo. Served with wild mushroom gravy and veggie mash, for lunch. Keto crème brûlée for desert. Then had a mini omelette (mushroom, bacon, bell pepper) with guacamole for dinner. Satisfying day )
01/26 -131.4 (Had a nice massage yesterday. Late birthday treat. They had a lot of sugary snacks on hand in the waiting area. Biscuits being offered, chocolates on the table, gummy sweets to the side; It was a challenge to resist free offerings. Then when I had a cup of tea, 2 little biscuits with dark chocolate and coconut covering were served beside it. Warred with myself for 5mins before I ended up having them. After searching for them online, 2 of them come to 7g carbs. So much for such small biscuits. But I was able to resit asking for more or going 'oh well might as well splurge now and have that chocolate too'. I managed to keep to my carb limits for the day.)
01/27 - 130.8 (Surprising, considering I snacked on some nuts late last night. Stressful time with my 6 months old nephew as he has a cold and wouldn't stay asleep for long. Sister out for the night with friends. )
01/28 -130.6
01/29 - 129(Don't know how it dropped that much haha. Doubt it will stick.)
01/30 – 129 (So it did stick. Making a lasagne with keto pasta and garlic bread today. Done the lasagne before, the bread is a first- but not first bread recipe. Side of baby spinach. I planned it for this day as there will be leftovers for my mother to have on Friday. I’m going out with a friend to see the latest ‘how to train your dragon’ movie. So excited. )

Woman, Age 47, 5'6", Celiac disease
OSW: 252
Round 66 SW: 214.6
01/23—216.8— Not an unexpected bump. I'm back to retaining water, have some digestive funkiness, and TOM looms. I didn't get 45 to continue to the next round of my push ups challenge, but I'm stoked because I got to 40. (42 if I count the two terrible ones at the end where I lost my form and nearly faceplanted.) So I went from 31 to 40 in ten days. Progress!
01/24—215.8—Had a lot of guesswork in my calories yesterday. I estimated high but lunch was plain chicken breast on plain salad. (I hate conference food!) Today will be more sedentary than yesterday, so I'll need to be mindful and keep moving.
01/25—216.6—TOM and non-ideal eating. Boo. I ate back all of my exercise calories, which I don't tend to like to do. I don't feel great, but I don't feel terrible either, which is a win!
01/26—217—This was after drinking a couple of glasses of water.
01/27—215.8—Late weigh-in. I felt really awful this morning so I went back to bed.
01/28—216.2—Rocky weekend for how I was feeling, but I ate well and got in a lot of moderate exercise minutes. I don't work for the US federal government, but a lot of my work is in reaction to what the federal government does, so it's possible this will be a real sprint of a week as the end of the shutdown might mean a ton of new things to respond to. Whee!
01/29—216.2—Still retaining some water. Yesterday was very quiet at work, which makes me nervous! I'm wearing pants today that gave me a muffin top the last time I was this weight (actually, I was a little lighter). No muffin top now! So things are shifting around. Continuing the push ups and Butt & Gut challenges. And I'm now in the habit of long stretches of medium intensity cardio. Not for weight loss but for cardiovascular fitness.
01/30—216.2—This number looks familiar! I had a very good eating day yesterday and experimented with microwave keto bread (I'm not using keto, but it was a gf recipe and easy). Not too bad! Getting slammed at work, as expected, so I have to try to be very conscious of moving often and drinking enough.

I was over calorie goal, but I think still in a deficit. Still, it's high in salt, so I might pay for this tomorrow instead.
Oh my goodness, @euronorris, I'm so sorry that happened. Most people are really nice and then you encounter a stinker.8 -

Thanks @puttyputty It was horrid. Everyone else in the office is lovely, and that particular guy is nice most of the time, but he has no filter and zero empathy. It's not the first time he's said something nasty (not just to me), and I doubt it'll be the last!
Oh well. I feel better about it all this morning, and avoided having a massive binge last night, so damage was limited.

Round 66 Goals: (1) Meditate for 15 minutes @ least 4 days (2) exercise a combined 60+ minutes for 6 of the next 10 days and (3) finish proud of yourself.
Day/Weight/Comment
1/23: 218.6 @ 6:30am (meditated 15 mins & exercised 60+)
1/24: 217.8 @ 7:00am - body isn't sore, but struggling to push myself today. Planning to drink a gallon of water and try a new workout. 🤞 .... (exercised 60+)
1/25: 216.9 @ 7:30am - FAIL on the water yesterday, but found a 3 day flexibility challenge I'm gonna need more than 3 days for, lolololo. Exercise earlier was mostly cleaning but will get in a good walk at lunchtime. Dinner out tonight and Sunday so pretty much in party mode til Monday. 😜🍸💃 Have a great weekend everyone. Enjoy!!! (20mins meditation & exercised 60+)
1/26: 217.0 @ 8:30am One Year MFP Anniversary and exactly 61 pounds down! I also earned a new NSV at Red Lobster last night with amazingly only ONE cheddar biscuit people, lol ~ That's HUUUGGGGE!!!! Not only do I usually eat way more than I'd like to admit, I always took some home for later. Didn't happen!!! Everyone laughed while I picked on it like a bird, but like Judy Garland I sang "I don't care, I don't care .... " all the night long (no exercise or meditation today)
1/27: 216.6 @ 6:00am - 15 mins meditation & 60 mins exercise done. Have a great day everyone!
1/28: 217.0 @ 8:00am - uuggh, was expecting a bump after my cheat day yesterday so no surprise, but I am sick of seeing this number! Time for a reset!!! Keeping IF 16/8 but ditching Keto, going back to LC eating and starting a new 8 week plan to shake things up a bit. No looking back!
1/29: 215.9 @ 8:30am - 20 mins meditation only exercise today, though Donna has inspired me to find some time to get in a little shimmy shimmy before bed
1/30: 217.3 @ 8:30am – my weight this round is definitely reflecting my emotions. I’ve been so shaky and fragile the past two weeks, that even the quality of my sleep is taking a hit with some awful dreaming. Normally self-reflection leads to correction pretty quickly, but it's getting so bad, I can’t even speak without fear of crying. JEEEZZZZ Louise I’m feeling as sensitive as old TOM today. Will probably keep my mouth shut and my head down for a while, but please know I’m still rooting for you guys.
1/31:
Good luck and best wishes everyone.13 -

Wow wasn’t expecting that. Happy to be keeping it in the 140’s. Gym class scheduled for today and dog agility class for tonight so hopefully should be a good day as well. Tomorrow is likely to be a small disaster as we have a long time coworker retiring and I work quite closely with them. Restaurant lunch, cake and many emotions I’m sure will be in store for me tomorrow. As long as I manage to get back on the horse on Friday it will be alright.14 -

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

Jan 28 - 179.6 - I’m sure this is a lot of water weight from way too much sodium Saturday evening. It always lingers for a couple days in my system.
Jan 29 - 179.4 - still water weight I think, even though I’ve been drinking lots.
Jan 30 - 180.0

@MadisonMolly2017 Thanks for enduring the rant! I’m finally feeling like sewing for myself again and have discovered some FREE patterns that everyone seems to rave about. To all the sewists out there, check out Patterns for Pirates. I’m not sure a 69 year old should wear leggings in public but I sure can wear them in the house and gym!
@TerriRichardson112 Love your progress!!
@debwhite66 Why are you disillusioned with Keto? Everyone is different and your body will have to adjust. Drink some DILL PICKLE juice if you think you have Keto flu. Your electrolytes may be out of balance. I was told that if I wasn’t losing, my body was healing on the inside. In my first 10 days I lost 3.5 pounds but around that time I realized that for the first time in 50 years my knees didn’t hurt every time I stood up! Be patient.2 -

Day/Weight/Comment
01/23. 199.0
01/24. 199.0. Was expecting a lose, hopefully it was the sodium in my homemade fish stew.
01/25. 198.0
01/26. 197.8. Happy. Went out for dinner and had some wine,
01/27. 198.4. Now this is a bit hard to take. Been on track and super focused. Check tomorrow.
01/28. 197.0. New low in over a year! Just goes to show me, I must also keep better track on weekend, haha
01/29. 196.4.
01/30. 197.0. Bouncing, I guess. I did go over calories on the 28th, with wine so maybe a little catchup from that.

I made chicken pot pie (single crust) last night - delish! but too much fat (butter, cream...). So I believe veggie soup is on the schedule tonight or tomorrow night! On the plus side, I've been back to weight training for about 3 weeks now and have increased the weights significantly, so am happy to see that I hadn't lost all previous progress on the strength front. Note to women losing weight - take care of your bones during the process! Talk to your doctor about checking Vit D level and your possible need for D and K and magnesium, and keep up weight-bearing exercise. My last DexaScan (bone density) showed significant bone density loss, probably due to significant weight loss the previous 3 years. We have to take care of our bodies as we reshape them.
01/24 - 139.2 - 1743
Last night I made a big pot of minestrone and had that with bread I baked a couple days ago. So good! Off to the gym and planning to hunker down tomorrow - minus 20 wind chill expected. Aaack! Stay warm if you're also in the way of this!
01/25 - 139.2 - 1802
Yep, it's cold outside! Not as bad as predicted, though, so I'll go to the Y. Did I mention I'm a cold weather wimp after 8 years on the southern coast of NC? ;-) Anyway, I'm back on track food wise, finally, and have channeled my baking urge into whole-grain bread instead of cookies and cakes. Better for us and I'm not tempted between meals!
01/26 - 139.2 - 1796
Anyone else in the cold zones inclined to hibernate until March? I love early mornings Spring though Fall, but right now I struggle to get myself out of bed in the morning. My kitten makes sure I get up, though! >^..^< Have a great weekend, all.

I seem to have found equilibrium. I haven't averaged my calories the past couple of days, but my ave should be around 1750-1800 at the moment, and I'm getting away with that because I've increased my exercise. It will increase more when we get out of the deep freeze, but I'm fine with hanging out here for a little while. Speaking of cold, we're supposed to have wind chills of -50F!!!! on Wed., so I intend to stay home and write, paint, read, bake, & cook. Maybe even clean house a little. Anything to stay in! Stay warm and safe, all of you fellow arctic adventurers!
01/29 - 139.4
Just Hangin' out, er, in! Wind rising, temp dropping, more snow possible. Must be January!
01/30 - 139.2
It's -16F here right now, with expected wind chills of -45 or colder, but we're snuggled in. And what's cozier than a cat in a window?

01/23 - 179.6 lbs / I've been doing pretty well so far today. I took a 15 minute walk during my break & I've had 32 oz of water so far. Hopefully, I do well during the whole challenge.
01/24 - 179 exactly today. I did a little cardio when I got home yesterday & didn't have a big dinner.
01/25 - So today I weighed in at 180. I did really good with my calories yesterday, and I worked out after work. Not really sure why the scale doesn't reflect the hard work, but then again I did have a little fried food for dinner
01/26 - 180.6 today. Yesterday was not great calorie wise & tonight I'm taking my mom to a seafood buffet for her birthday. I'll just start fresh tomorrow.
01/27 - 180.2. I did go to the buffet yesterday but amazingly I stuck to only one plate which I couldn't even finish & I didn't have drinks afterwards. I didn't keep track of my meals but I think I did ok in terms of calories. I didn't work out yesterday but today's a new day & I'm ready to start over again.
01/28 - 180.4 / I'm starting to feel really stagnant now. I'm just glad it's Monday because I tend to eat better on days that I work. Hopefully, I at least get down to 178 by the end of this challenge.
01/29 - 179.6 / Well it's nice to be back in the 170s even if it's just by the skin of my teeth. I always do better food wise when I'm at work. Unfortunately, today's a snow day. I'll really have to work hard today if I don't want to gain.
01/30 -178.6 / Yayy!! I'm finally under my start weight from the beginning of this round. I'm happy. I'm trying to start holding myself more accountable for my eating and lack of exercise. I only went over my allotted calories by like a hundred yesterday and I did a 20 minute workout. I'm proud of myself.

01/23 ….. 187.1 ….. This thing we always hear about it being hard to lose weight in the winter…. Well, they ain’t kiddin’ folks! It’s not just the holidays! It’s being stuck in during these snow storms & much much more.
01/24 ….. 186.8 ….. Yesterday was great. Right on plan. IF 18:6 Over six hours of sleep which is phenomental for me! 21 Net Carbs. 1062 Calories. 16,231 steps. 6.93 miles of activity. 13/13 steps hours on fitbit. I danced 53 minutes (my son danced 39 of them with me!) Sample song: Beautiful Loser by Bob Segar.
01/25 187.3 No dancing yesterday but I did get in a 35 minute walk. IF 16:8. 10,193 steps total. 4.34 miles. 12/13 step hours. 2301 calories burned. 4 hours 30 minutes of sleep.
01/26 ….. 187.1….. 14 Net Carbs. 1365 Calories. I burned 2604 calories. 13,363 steps overall. 5.71 miles overall. 13/13 step hours on fitbit. Slept 4 hours 23 minutes which is typical. My awake/eating window is bigger than normal due to such little daily sleep so I keep it in check with 16:8 IF. I aerobic danced 53 minutes. One of the songs was “Give credit where credit is due” by Meghan Trainor
01/27 …..186.9 ….. 12 Net Carbs. 1144 Calories. I burned 2549 Calories for the day. 13,155 steps overall. 5.58 miles overall. 13/13 step hours on fitbit. I slept an amazing 7 hours 57 minutes last night (which I haven’t done in years!) IF 16:8. I danced for 55 minutes. One of the songs was “Born to Run” by Bruce Springsteen. 01/28 …..186.7….. Fat is melting away in a slow drip but I’ll take it I had a Long work day yesterday but got in lots of steps, then a couple of sets of dancing later, some with son. Great numbers to report: 10 Net Carbs. 1040 Calories. I burned 2853 calories for the day. 22,158 total steps & 9.39 miles! Yay me! 13/13 step hours on fitbit. IF was at 21:3 because of late start eating & time restraints. I slept 5 hours 27 minutes. I danced for 150 minutes and my son danced 53 of them with me! One of the songs was “I Can’t Get Next To You”, by the Temptations.
01/29 184.8 Whoosh, there it is! Yesss….. Finally the dancing is showing up on the scale. Diet has stayed on point too. Keeping this momentum up has not been too difficult. I love it when I get to these strong points. It’s just a matter of getting through the weak ones first till you reach the other side! I hope this lasts awhile. 22 Net Carbs. 1264 Calories. I burned 2616 Calories. 16,584 steps & 7.05 miles. 13/13 step hours on fitbit. IF 16:8. I slept 4 hours 31 minutes. I danced 83 minutes. One of the songs was “Have you ever seen the Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival. It’s a bit of a different version on Alexa, but I like it. I played it on the warmup side of my set ( a couple of songs in the middle of the set are my fastest peak). I tried to get “When Doves Cry” by Prince but Alexa wouldn’t give it to me. Drats! Thanks to everyone for the nice comments, the likes, and the emails I’m getting regarding the dancing. I am so happy to hear that some of you have picked up the “habit” too. It feels good to give something back when I have taken so much from all of you. This is wonderful! And to @quiltingjaine : I’m another crazy person that puts my scale EXACTLY in the same spot on the floor for weighing. I understand our craziness. I, too, want to see the EXACT difference in my weight from day to day. Also, I wanted you to know that I had 2 TBSP of PB last night (like I did a few weeks ago), regular creamy Jif. Last time I marched an extra mile for it. This time I danced an extra bit at 11:00 PM for it which was more fun & went by quicker . Of course, I saved room in my macros for it! I needed a little bit of a snack & the PB offered some protein, not just all sugar like a cheat treat. I’m mentioning again so all the newbies can see that if we cave & have a LNS, we must choose as wisely as possible, then get up off our bums and work it off! Have a good day everyone!
01/30 …..184.8….. Holding Steady which is great after my dinner last night! Had a friend over to watch a Netflix movie which turned out to be pretty cheesy and not so scary afterall. NET Carbs 99. Calories 1906. Yikes. I burned 2551 calories. 12,284 steps overall & 5.24 miles. I slept 4 hours 26 minutes and got 12/13 fitbit step hours. I only lost the one hour when I was getting my haircut yesterday at the salon. I danced 43 minutes. No afternoon set due to hair and no makeup dancing set in the evening due to my guest being over. But that was an extra 277 calories I burned so I’ll take it! Thanks to @quiltingjaine for the PB suggestions. I was hoping when the threw the brand name Jif out there someone would have a better idea! I am traveling today to the nearest small town for shopping & to stop by the veterinary clinic. I will check out your PB suggestions at Walmart. If not, I’ll check Amazon. I’m worried about being out of town. We usually get Chinese since it’s something we can’t get near home & oh, my the bloat and water retention. We’ll see what happens. I’ll try to make good high protein choices and will slaughter any problems that arise tomorrow. Sample song yesterday was “Lightening Strikes” by Lou Christie. A golden oldie 50’s, 60’s song. His songs were always so fun to hear with the voice change. Have a great Hump day everyone!

Daily goals: drink 100oz or more of water; no alcohol; stay around my 1200 calories; dedicated 1hr of exercise 8/10 days; 15k steps; 3k calorie burn via Fitbit
1/23: 198.8 - thank goodness! 🤩 Onederland! This was the woosh I was expecting all last round. Hit all my goals yesterday.
1/24: 198.2 - met, and exceeded, all my goals yesterday. Tried drinking 150oz of water, which is recommended for my weight by a lot of calculators, but had to get up 3x during the night, so I’ll stick with the 100oz still, which allows me to sleep through the night. I made oatmeal chocolate chip walnut cookies with the kids yesterday AM, and have so far resisted having one. Normally I would crave one for breakfast with my coffee, but sweet doesn’t sound *as good* in the AMs after trying to do high protein in the mornings for the last month (this is a great NSV for me!), and I know if I start my day with one, it could all go downhill fast. Also, I tried switching 1 of my coffees for 1-2 black teas over the past week, and I was getting headaches, so I am back to coffee with milk (the only time I ever get headaches, for the last 20 years, has been from lack of caffeine.)
1/25: 196.6 - whoa, totally unexpected, but I’ll take it! Had a stressful day, and got some very bad news. Hit all my goals, but didn’t eat nutritiously.
Also, today marks 1 month since I started. I’ve lost 14lbs total, have only had alcohol once (next round I’ll start adding it back carefully - I credit alcohol calories with a majority of my weight gain), feel like I mostly have a good and sustainable routine with getting to the gym (making it routine is always hard for me), and I have more energy in general. I think I’ve lost at least two inches off my waist, but I didn’t measure right away, so I won’t officially measure again until next week. My skin is the most noticeable difference too me - it looks great and glowing with all the water and workouts. This group has been super motivating and inspirational and I appreciate you all! Having a place to report in is definitely helping me stick to my daily goals more than I would have otherwise.
1/27: 197.0 - 😆 oh boy! This is why I didn’t change my goal weight for this round after getting in the 196.x. Was under calories yesterday, and had an extra active day with my kids (and a nap 🎉), but didn’t have dedicated exercise, only got 80oz of water, and my Fitbit needed to be recharged, so I imagine I was close on steps and calories burned but just don’t know for sure.
1/28: 197.2 - I expected this. Extra active day yesterday, hit all my goals, but food was high in sodium. Pre-made steak, chicken, and black beans to use for meals all week. I am feeling extremely anxious today about some projects I need to start/complete in the next day, so I hope I can handle them well. Hugs appreciated - my stomach is in knots over them.
1/29: 196.6 - Hit all my goals yesterday. Burned 1k on the elliptical according to Fitbit, without the gossipy neighborhood lady there to motivate me to work out hard 😆. Prepped lots of cut veggies and veggie dishes for the week, so should have very little food prep needed through the weekend.
1/30: 194.4 - whoa 😮 not expecting this at all. Hit all my goals yesterday, and was extra active with the kids (beach and bikes and basketball.) Pulled something in my neck sleeping funny, so did light elliptical and no weights at the gym. Also, officially down a jean size now - so exciting! Shopped in my closet yesterday. Can’t decide if I should just throw my big jeans away altogether, or save them for gardening.

@Larkspur94 My mind formed an image — “my 6 months old nephew” + “baby spinach.” I went EWWW then realized you were talking about little spinach leaves not puréed. LOL at myself.
@aFit50 Reshii, saying extra prayers of peace for you.
@GrandmaJackie Thank you for Round 67!
@SheilaBoneham What’s cozier than a cat in the window? A cat in the lap!

@BethE238 Awesome activity and loss but sorry about that neck. I have arthritis in mine and sometimes it’s so bad it makes me feel like vomiting. Haven’t had one of those in a while. Hope yours is better soon!4

@quiltingjane Oh no, I am so very sorry! I know that feeling of nausea from pain - I have had several injuries and surgeries over the years that felt this way. I don’t wish it on anyone. Big hugs!2

Loving these cat pics! Keep them coming! We have a dog - he’s pretty cozy, but not cat in winter level cozy. He got to go to the beach yesterday, and was so pleased with himself for the rest of the day (our beach is off leash in the winter - it’s the best!) He could stand to lose some weight too, but he is 11.5 and considered “elderly” so the vet isn’t concerned with him losing weight at this point, but we try. Everyone says, “oh, 11 months?” when we tell his age, and we have to clarify “11 years” (he’s very, ahem, boisterous.)

@euronorris - that is horrible about your co-worker. I left my career 4 years ago to stay home with the kids, but there was a guy there that always said nasty things about parenting and kids. I had a dream two nights ago that I was fired from there and I just knew he was to blame (he was married to our director, which made it all the worse.) My advice, not that you asked for it , is not to let it fester. Tell somebody at work, even if just a friendly ear, and document it with date and time, in case it gets worse and makes the workplace hostile. If it is effecting your weight loss (and thus your health) it is harassment. Document, document, document. I so wish I would have done something more about my crappy co-worker back then. The fact that I still have dreams about him being awful goes to show the toll it took on me.7
